You need to blur our the person’s character name or remove the pictures. What you are doing is “naming and shaming” and is against the forum rules.

Also, the ToS describes scamming as “Taking advantage of another player (“scamming”) in order to take his/her items or account”

What you’re describing doesn’t come under this heading. From what I understand, somebody bet 50g that you wouldn’t win. You won, but didn’t receive 50g. You didn’t lose 50g, so your items weren’t taken. Yes, you were deceived, but you didn’t lose anything apart from a bit of your time.

I lost 25g to him the duel before. Then re dueled for 50g.

So I’m just wondering… If someone bets me 50g to duel. And I win and they don’t pay? You guys have a “Report Scammer” button how REALLY effective is it?

I have screenshots if needed for proof of the scammer blatantly laughing about it and laughing at the fact NOTHING will happen. Which I’m sure he is right since I have little to no faith that nothing will happen to him for being a scammer. What’s stopping people from doing other things to other players in game to scam?

You’re confusing entering rated pvp to entering “heart of the mists” and if players can already join HoTM already why do we even need the “level requirement” It doesn’t make sense. It’s like saying you can’t get into this bar unless you know the back door?… I agree with you on making players WAIT to join a rated game. That would just be horrendous, but again having a level restriction just to enter HoTM when there is already a back door just doesn’t make sense.

So what’s the purpose of not having ALL the skills unlocked automatically in Spvp?

It’s still not a good thing. Forcing someone to play a certain way before they can play how they want. Not all players learn the same way. And restricting different ways to learning the game. Especially what I think is the best way, which is by joining Spvp where you have all the skills unlocked etc… It’s exactly how I did it, and I have 9 different level 80s, Map completion etc… Restricting IS BAD!

This is actually my first post I’ve ever made about a complaint about Guild Wars 2, because I think this game is amazing and its hands down in my top 2 of MMORPGs I’ve ever played. I LOVE THIS GAME!

So… When did this happen?

Structured PvP – players have access to top level equipment and all of their available skills and traits, provided they have a character that is at least level 22.

You’re telling me I convinced my friends to get the game and they can’t PvP with me until they level a character until level 22. Does anyone else see what’s wrong with that? Restricting a place where they can test spells and make there own builds and taking away creativity until they level to 22 IS A BAD IDEA. I also never liked the fact that you have to gain skill points to unlock skills IN SPVP? Another bad idea.

This can also be apart of the unlocking skills in spvp with skillpoints/gold.

Pros:

-Makes players enjoy the PvE aspect of the game/enjoy terrain and enjoy the design from the game designers.

Cons:

-Creativity of builds
-Better way to learn how to play.
-Play with friends who have are veterans
-This is a MMORPG not a Single player RPG. Which is what you’ve made it become until you’re level 22. If your friends are already veterans and you’re new
-Stirs away new players that have friends who are veterans.
-Restricting new players.
