I like the idea, but I think the chests should be account bound. Just put things in them that can be sold for good money. In the end no ones gonna want titles and rewards that all the pve players can get just by buying the chests off the tp.
Or, just increase the rare/exotic drop rates in the current reward tracks. I made a decent amount of money off of the halloween reward track because of the price of the trick or treat bags and now that its over I’m back to getting a ton of greens and not making any money.
There’s nothing wrong with epidemic, you’re just trying to maximize the benefits too much, like Drarnor said. Necro has a ton of aoe potential so it should be fairly easy to tag mobs in open world pve. If you’re running in a zerg like that dont even bother trying to stack conditions, just run to the mob (you’ll be a little behind the group since you’re a slow necro) and cast epidemic. By the time you get to the mob there will be enough conditions for you to spread around.
Most of these actually seem really reasonable. One thing that I’d definitely like to see is the life force bar in party interface, or at least have the bar change colors. I’ve had many times where a party member has wasted skills trying to heal/protect me because they saw my life force ticking down in the party window, or they’ve even just stopped fighting because they thought they were gonna have to come over to rez me. This makes them waste skills unnecessarily, and I can’t even get the effects since death shroud prevents healing. Maybe we don’t need healing in DS but at least give us this QoL change.
As far as pve goes, I’ve never gotten kicked from a dungeon or fractal for being on a necro and I’ve never had a problem where I was so useless that I felt the need to swap characters. I eventually got sick of lugging around an additional armor/weapon set just for running dungeons, so now I just use my guardian for my pve needs but its definitely not impossible to do all the content as a necro.
if you have your zerg also bring necros with wells and deathly perception then it looks like wvw zerging just became balanced with no need to change traits
I think a range decrease would be called for. I know its a longbow and everything but 1200 range when traited doesn’t seem to be “point blank” to me
