UPDATE
it seems you cant drag a sigil over a weapon to apply it you have to right click then hit use, so i guess this comes in to the “noob” title but why the kitten did they stop you from using the dragging and applying method?
Can you give us more information? For example have you got another Sigil already on the hammer in the other slot? Good chance if you answer yes there is a conflict with the 2 sigils and both may not work at the same time on the weapon thus anet does not allow them both to be applied.
Edit: sometimes too it can be just plain tricky to apply runes/sigils to gear even if they can be applied. You have to drag the rune/sigil over the gear slot and it has to sit on a certain spot or light up a certain colour. Hard to explain but it does sometimes take a few attempts to actually apply it, just pay close attention to the colour of the window (box) when trying to apply.
well i said it was an empty slot in fact both slots are empty on the hammer and when i try to apply it the weapon turns red and will not apply the sigil
so i have a lvl 60 sigil and im trying to apply it to an empty slot on my lvl 80 exotic hammer but it wont let me do it for some reason is this a bug or am i being a noob?

Don’t speak for ANet unless you’re on their payroll, let them sort it out as we know they will.
i got a reply from them telling me they will and can not change the hellfire gloves to radiant even though i was mislead by the preview. which i call bs they can change it pretty easily. and considering if the info card was correct there would not be a problem.
anet will not change the armor skin if you ended up with the wrong item its tough u will have to wait until u gain however many 000’s of points to get it next time around. good job anet you kittened up we have to deal with it maybe i wouldn’t be so kitten ed if there was more than 2 ok looking armor set for medium armor players. (1 of them being the cof set that u cant view the shoulders in the medium set…. :/)
no i have been in normal server and lags like a kitten the delay on the skills is just silly as well as trying to jump also at max range on the camera my char seems to go out of focus but up close it is fine dunno if it my pc/game or something else. but it started with the update
since the bazaar update ive had a kitten load of lag to the point of i tried to jump on to a ledge and thanks to the lag i didn’t seem to jump and hit the deck from a great height and then i was back on top of the cliff then back laying on the deck dead lol. anyone else having super lag?

when i click "log in " on the launcher i get the error code 42:6:3:2060 (client is unable to gain access to the log in server) and yet 1 hr ago i was playing gw2 is their maintenance going on or is this a new issue ???
ive found that my lvl 17 char find’s the chest all over the place in the world but when i play my lvl 80 there is none i had some on the first day but nothing since then??
the first bit is fine where the ship throws the undead in to the fort then ive killed them all and the only ones left are on the beach so i head down their and start killing and from then it just keeps going and going and going

I encounter this error if I enable 3D stereo surround on the game and try to restart it. It seems that by disabling Nvidia 3D Vision on the control panel will fix this, however, I can’t enable 3D surround on the game then.
For reference I am using a GTX670 with the latest drivers (306.02) and using the 3D TV Play display option for 3D Vision though an hdmi cable.
I hope you guys fix this sooner rather than later as the last stress test before the game went live had fixed this same problem from a previous build/ stress test.
i dont have the same issue but im running a GTX 670 AND HAVE MY PC CONNECTED TO MY SAMSUNG 3d TV AND THE OPTION IS GRAYED out and wont let me enable it says i need to run in full screen but i thought i was in full screen ?
