Y’all noticing there’s been a slight increase in Canthan related items recently? The Assassin outfit.. DEFINITELY the Ancestral outfit.. Belinda’s katana.. and the violins in the new soundtrack sound eerily similar to some of the music from Factions (the low strung violins, almost hum-like). You can hear it towards the beginning of the Dry Top song. Maybe it’s just an odd coincidence as violins are obviously very frequently used in a lot of songs unrelated to Cantha, but it’s definitely a familiar style of sound that was used a lot in Factions. There’s still hope! :P

Absolutely loving this look for myself. I think it’s pretty sleek and I haven’t seen a twin yet!

A solid 9/10, face of someone who’s been bred into high society.

Reminds me of ‘Knights of the Round Table’, the 1953 film (in terms of the whole look). Love the era.

Here’s my Ele, miss Clara Afterthought. She’s young and still trying to master the elements (at one point she temporarily blinded herself from over practicing with Air and had to wear a blindfold :p) Sorta went for a brunette Kasmeer look

Lol @ all the people thinking I was being sarcastic. Can a person not genuinely be happy and enthused about something? I may have been a bit over the top in the initial post, but that was right after I had just completed it all. It’s sad that I almost feel like I have to apologize for liking something in this game, since apparently hating everything about anything is the status quo now. I adored every bit of the conclusion & just wanted to share my appraisal and respect, since the devs do not get as much as they deserve.

We all differentiate in the creative process, so of course not every single person will be pleased with every thing that they create for us. But to keep things on topic I was just so enthralled in that final hour, and not even due to the content alone but due to the technical aspects of it as well (the cutscene animations, the music, the fight mechanics, etc.) It was all very impressive and something fresh that we haven’t seen before during the course of this past year, and it was executed very well. That is all.

Seriously! I’m still picking my jaw up off the floor.

This has got to be the best LW update yet.. and I’m not just saying that because we all finally got to shut Scarlet up for good! The entire boss fight was perfect!! And the cutscene with Marjory and Kasmeer was beautiful (a couple tears rolled when they finally embraced each other, I’ll admit!) XD

I know not everyone will be as satisfied as I am with this conclusion, but I just wanted to post a positive thread recognizing the devs’ hard work The entire presentation of this update was just magnificent. AND THE LOOT! By the gods, I’ve never seen so many valuable things in my bags!

(and those Tormented weapons from Nightfall unffff…. Crystal Desert soon?? ;D )

8.5/10! Really like your style here, all of the flames look cohesive & beautiful yet deadly. Great job!

Here’s my Thief. Decided to go for a look to match the achievement gloves and I think I nailed it. Went with sort of a posh theme, hence the monocle and shoulders. Even though they’re supposed to be a plant, I think the shoulders look like a fur trimming/hood piece if dyed properly. :P Also, used the desert rose to match the red front piece and the dragon jade weapons to match the rose!

Waiting around for the fireworks can actually be an event in itself. :p

I too am really bummed/disappointed that the kits were not included in the Lost Shores patch. I thought for sure that this would be the one, but nope. My interest in recustomizing my character has become so overwhelming that whenever I do log in, I’m only on for a few minutes because I just can’t stand how silly my character’s proportions are. It sucks because I was a GW1 die hard and was waiting for this game foooorreverrr, and now my interest in playing is slowly diminishing overtime because of this SIMPLE issue. I wish that, at the very least, we could get an updated response about the current status of these kits.
