I have reread the item on the wiki and it also agrees with what you are saying. It is unfortunate that this kind of stuff is part of this game.

The items in these BL Chests are incredible garbage. I have not had anything bad to say about GW2 until now and I have been around since GW1 and have played GW2 since Beta day 1.

It is sad to say that these “polished kitten ” items have opened my eyes to see how much time I waste on this game.

Received a Mad King Dye Kit from a BL Chest after getting one of those super rare items called a Black Lion Key.

Common Green Dye! What?

Is this a bug, or is this really the crap that these rare items give out?

Not sure what the order was… too busy dodging. I know what one I would have let die if I could… Phlunt. I am not sure what it is about him but he just hits me the wrong way.

I solo’d with my Ele but it was difficult for a squishy char. Only took 1 try but I damaged every piece of armor. It seems like once you go down you are finished since the tendrils throw so much/constant damage you can never heal out of it.
I found myself taking all 3 down to almost nothing and then when I went down hit one to get a rally.

I did enjoy the fight but I felt like I couldn’t hit the dragon’s head with anything other than my #1 skill. Tried some AOE but was not very effective.

Anyone else have this problem?

As soon as I read that this was going to happen I first thought about buying multiples and then getting the un-ids like everyone else.

But, as I read the section from the knowledge base @ https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/45889307-Dyes:
“What happens with dyes that I have unlocked on multiple characters?”

Mainly this part:
“the game will determine each instance where this took place and then will send you an in-game mail with an unidentified dye for each dye that was duplicated on your account”"

It sounds to me like this over-buying of duplicate dyes would be foreseen by the devs and the “where this took place” would be checked to make sure that the occurrence would have to have happened before the announcement. Otherwise, this seems like an exploit and we have all seen ANET ban for similar gold-making acts. I for one think that it is safer to stay far away from this.

Anyone else get the same idea?

All this Keil bashing, but I believe that her election was either pre-planned or the votes went the way they should.

Reason:
Right after the election Scarlet’s minions started attacking different zones. You have to WP to be super effective. Keil’s election brought cheaper waypoints. Cheaper WPs + decent drops = money in the bank.

Evon’s would have brought cheaper BL chest keys, I do not see much beniefit from that. Anet would have loved the gem purchases (nothing against them), but for ingame content, Keil offered something that EVERYONE used (WP discount).

Although I would have liked to see the Abbadon fractal, I believe that Keil was the right choice as far as players would be concerned. The lore for Evon winning would have been epic, but we all know that it would come back to the same point eventually like the personal story lines played out.

This is a bug. I reported this in-game but I don’t know how far that will go.

I got an Endless Toy Soldier tonic from a wintersday gift. I saw Huntsman(275) on it and thought “OOOO one I can make”. Double clicked it and saw in the chat window, "Darksteel Imbued…. ". My tonic didn’t show within my known recipes but the darksteel did.

Went to TP and hovered over all of the new tonics (or old… don’t know) and they all said “You already know this recipe!”

SO… this is a bug. I just hope Anet gives me my real tonic recipe back.

I agree. THIS was a main concern on the final mission for the personal story.
“Why am I being forced to have a 5 person party”.

Although I personally solo almost everything I play more than my friends so it was not a huge deal for me, I see where everyone is coming from. Having a choice is better than no choice.

You are not alone. This has just started happening to me today (past 1:00pm EST… this morning was fine).

Well…lagged out and game crashed again on phase 1.
Logged back in to find myself in overflow….yay!

Just did Jormag… as soon at he landed and everyone starts thier battle my client freezes. The only way to get out of it is to restart my computer.

Restarted… phase 2 Jormag… fired for ~2 mins with the Charzooka… no loot chest.
Checked combat log… never hit him. 2 mins of shooting and I never hit him!

I dont care about guesting, but if the events cant handle the people, something needs to be done.

I only have time to hit his event once due to work, so this lag and crashing crap kills the entire event. You never see him do anything but ‘moving’ and some of the ice spikes which makes fighting these bosses a joke.

Same goes for all other world bosses on Tarnished Coast (lag and animation during fight)

From what I can see, there is at least 3 of them spawned on top of each other. Each animation seems to be about 1 second off of each other

Tarnished Coast server.
Seems like when I get into a big DE I freeze (not my char but everything around) and then I get disconnected within 20 seconds.

I experienced this 4 times while trying to do the Shelter DE off the southern end of Pertinant Path in the Cursed Shore zone.

To add: this seems to be the only zone that is doing it to me.

I found that the dialog issue was due to my Realtek audio driver setup.
I had one of the cables plugging in to back of the computer set as mic in. I changed that to center/subwoofer and now I can hear the characters if they are in front of me.

Zorada… check out your setup. I have the 5.1 system as well (from Logitec)

I have this exact same issue. Anyone discover the fix?

Location: Village of Shaemore
Issue: Water comes down the hill… the wheel spins the wrong way and drops the water on of the top on the wrong side.

Like I said, this is only a visual issue so it is not a game stopper. I love the visuals of GW2 and I like to explore. I have found only a few issue so far… this one made me laugh.
