I’ve been playing GW2 since the start and my comp never really had a problem running the game. My game crashes occasionally, but it would always run again afterwards. The last crash happened as I was exiting the game and now the game won’t run anymore. The game crashes every time when it tries to load 10-15 seconds after I press play and it never reaches the character screen. I tried repairing the game client and it didn’t help. I don’t know why the game keeps crashing. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 notebook
CPU: Intel Core i5 M 460 @ 2.53GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
OS: Windows 7 home premium 64-bit
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

I didn’t check your document, but if it said Fatal Disk Error (23), try this link sent to me when I asked Reddit about it.

So I’m not sure what’s wrong exactly, but Guild Wars 2 seems to crash now after I shut off and restarted my computer. It was fine maybe 10 hours ago, but now it just fails to boot the game up after I log into my account.

The error log mentions a disk read error, so I’m not sure what to do. Repairing seems to always be stuck at around the 168,000 mark when it’s trying to verify the archive.
