I’m really hopeful this gets fixed soon. I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, or if it’s only affecting certain people—I can’t imagine it being intentional, as the ‘auto hover’ doesn’t even seem to work reliably. It makes setting specific prices nearly impossible. Before, you could click to select the currency input box you wanted to easily type in a price, but this doesn’t work at all anymore. As others mentioned, clicking instead adjusts the value.
Are other people still experiencing this? I haven’t seen any other descriptions of the issue other than in this thread.
I agree that this is a bad change. The idea of dailies originally was a pretty casual reward, it shouldn’t take longer than 30-45 minutes of play.
Phase 1 isn’t difficult, phase 2 is, whether it’s because it’s broken/buggy or because Arenanet wants it to be too difficult.
I’d just like to say that I’m pretty disappointed with the effort given to balancing the wurm difficulty thus far, especially after tonight’s incident.
I want to join a Tequatl guild.
I got one of these too and it’s very confusing that it is soulbound right out of the mystic forge. I’m hopeful this will be fixed as I’d rather sell it.
These changes to encourage infinite coin purchases are really disappointing.
I’m really, really, hoping it’s not the same as the level 20 scroll. I have 10 characters and only one is under 20. At level 18, this isn’t much of a gift. A useful gift, keeping in mind that this is received after playing at least an entire year, would be a scroll that at minimum boost any character’s level by 20. The principle is the same (create/use alternates) but it would be useful in allowing experienced players to more quickly do new things rather spending time in a zone they already know front and back.
That’s a really unfortunate answer. So many changes are constantly made to the mechanics of this game, that often inactivity is rewarded like this. I see no difference between this and the retroactive karma changes the developers apologized for; in both situations players had certain expectations beforehand about how their item systems behaved. Addressing the issue like this is indicative of poor planning.
I’d also like to know if there are plans to fix this, it doesn’t seem quite fair.
Why are they locking threads that simply show actual changes? I don’t get how there’s anything on point in the rules about that. The update notes are simply incomplete.
I think this is important to add, it helps keep track of things.
I had to read this to figure out what the problem was. This should be changed, it’s kind of dumb. If we have to spend money why can’t it just be done from the trait panel?
I’ve had this happen a number of times since November and I have not yet been able to tell how to replicate it. It is annoying though, as the only way to fix it is to restart the game client.
While Mr. Smith can be glib (as he usually is) about the biases inherent when people complain about poor drop rates for the fused weapon tokens, I don’t think the point of people posting here is to nail down the accurate drop rate. It’s more to forewarn people that you’re probably going to end up disappointed. Anyhow, my results from 40 chests: 0 tokens. For what it’s worth, I’m anticipating a fused token reward at the end of the events next month, but I will NEVER be purchasing keys again. The drops from black lion chests are simply never rewarding frequently enough to make them feel worth the expense.
I agree. It would actually be really cool to have mini pets serve as a sort of “queue” for food items.
This is just a symptom of a general problem that needs to be fixed. No one should be able to be kicked out of an instance by way of others leaving the party.
Do you remember when the game is started and the areas had a lot of player? I want it back!

I’ve been surprised at how quickly areas have become deserted. It really is at cross purposes with the design of the events and zones so I hope something is done about it.
Disappointed to see that the new monthly achievement component is just doing the Fractals dungeon even more. It was difficult enough finding people to finish story dungeons with. Apparently I should have finished them all the first few weeks the game was out?
Instead of making this the solution, there needs to be one implemented in the game.
Looking for story mode groups is like pulling teeth.
Wow, this is terrible. Send three messages over 20 minutes, and that’s excessive? How are you supposed to find dungeon groups?
It’s terrible that there isn’t already an interface to find dungeon groups, and seems to be no plans for one. Particularly for story mode dungeons which most people have already done (with no real incentive to do again). I hate feeling like I have to spam chat to find a group.
