As the title states, a friend of mine is planning on buying Guild Wars 2. I showed him around on my account, a new player and an old player’s accounts are different so I told him that you won’t have these shining swords or footstep effects or stuff like that. And he asked me if he could buy it through g2a.com which is not in the official retailer list, but is also a well-known online marketplace. So I hereby ask you all if it is recommended or not to buy the game using that website?

Thanks for the suggestions but I didn’t have h?m added on my friendlist. However we managed to download the game and then his account was already saved there so the problem is kind of solved.

Hello Guild Wars forum to begin with,
I have been playing this game since the release and oen of my friend was playing with me as well but my friend quit the game because of some real life issues. And now he wants to continue playing the game and he has his serial code and email but he doesn’t remember his account name and that blocks him from reseting his password. Can someone with knowledge help me with this issue?

It was after the daily reset and I was running in EB with a commander just to get some WXP but then I got bored so I went back to LA to open my champ boxes. The last place we capped was SM, don’t know if that changes a thing. Anyways so I went to LA and opened the boxes and got The Chosen. I was about to salvage it for some dark matter…

I was just checking the chest section of the wiki and I saw Wings of Dwayna as a rare drop from the Eye of Zhaitan event in Straits of Devestation. I have the longbow and it was a real pain in the kitten but isn’kitten bit ridicilous to give a standalone weapon as a rare drop? Shouldn’t it be obtained from MF or TP only? Thanks in advance.

I was running on EB yesterday and we capped SM and i got a champion box and that champion box was containing the Chosen so I am a little shocked too…

I’ve been running with this build for a year or so cause of commanding and stuff in WvW. Anyone know if there’s an updated version of this. By the way I have no problem with my build just asking if there’s a better version of it. Thanks in advance.

To be honest you’re right about first 3 of the bosses but I’m not really sure about Eye of Zhaitan. Maybe it’s because of my server or megaserver but whenever I go to Straits of Devestation I see people doing pre and killing it too. Other than that I completely agree with you and I think those bosses should be more rewarding, not just a champion box.

I’ll consider that but still not sure if it’s worth deleting it or not.

Hey there everyone I’m playing on Desolation world and need some advice on some professions. To begin with I’m not new to this game and know a lot about the professions that I play but the problem is with the ones I don’t. So basically I want to level another character to 80 and grind with it for a while maybe I got 6 slots full one is a thief at 50 the others are all at 80 and the other one is an engineer at 25. My question is that I personally don’t really “love” playing with my thief so I log in Just to get some daily stuff and nodes other than that he got all blues or yellow I don’t even know. I want to level an elementalist or a Necro but I don’t wanna waste all the time I spent with my thief since He got cooking at 400 and a God knows when will the characters slots will be on sale. What should I do about this? Any suggestion is much appreciated.

F?rat of all I would like to introduce myself since this is my f?rat post to the forum. My homeworld is Desolation and my main is GS/Staff(Sometimes scepter/shield in wvw). I have guardian, mesmer and ranger at 80 and want to level one more because I’m having fun and it seems like a way of farming T2 mats without getting bored at all. My question is pretty simple actually. I leveled both an engineer and an elementalist to level 30 just to see their elites and overall gameplay. And I liked them both but I want to grind on only one. I also talked to some of my guild mates about Elementalist vs. Engineer struggle I’m in and they said ele die quick and engi is not a fun class after all. Can someone please Summaries the real differences between them. I know that Elementalist has massive damage and hp regen but so does engi. I think this concludes my topic. Thank you. (Sorry about English mistakes, English is not my mother tongue.)
