I would very much like to see new skins for kits, because obtaining rare weapon skins is relatively pointless if you are always swapping kits.
What that recent blog post failed to re-iterate for the players who weren’t blessed with enough grey matter is:
- Agony condition can only be applied by mobs/mechanics that will be implemented post 15 Nov Patch;
- Agony condition cannot be applied by players ( to alienate the folks that think this extrapolates to WvW);
- Infusion mechanic is only required in future dungeon and wont affect old ones;
The above being said, as an ex HC AoC player I can tell you that this is “Khitai gear” and “critigation” all over again. This (and AA’s) did more harm to the game then helping. It created such a huge gap between HC and casual players that the game never recovered from.
Your comparison to AoC is not accurate at all, as critigation directly applied to PvP, which was everywhere in that game.
I’d be a human shopkeeper, because being a wizard in real life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Tell me about it. When I found out that Rampage as One would be one of our elites I was totally surprised to find out that we couldn’t use hammers. I really hope we end up being able to use hammers offensively, as the GS is now lackluster and has no knockdowns!
If you were able to drag someone, or they themselves could move, I think you should definitely have to be moving at a slowed movement speed. If a player who was downed was dragging themself it would make sense to give them increased life loss as well.
And people wonder why jobs are outsourced to third-world countries.
I support this. In fact, I would like to be able to bind any and all of their abilities to make better use of them.
@Durz
Very cool, I didn’t realize that! Now that I think about it, it acts just like the #1 attack on the Frost Bow that Elementalists can summon.
Having our pets take a fraction of AoE damage would be a better idea, or else in situations like WvW or dungeons our pets wouldn’t actually do anything, they would just constantly be running away from the fight. As it stands now, they just die unless we call them back and forth or put them on passive and only use their F2.
I was under the impression that firing a projectile through our Healing Spring only applied Regeneration to whomever fired the projectile? I know leap and blast skills will provide AoE healing and regen, but I don’t think our arrows do.
I tested this on my Elementalist: when you blast or leap into a water combo field (Healing Rain) then you get a “AoE Regeneration/Healing” notification. This doesn’t happen with our arrows.
I actually agree with you, the increased range is rather small. It seems to mesh well with shortbow and melee weapons, not so much the longbow.
My murellow is named Rogain. Surprisingly I haven’t gotten any comments about it yet, lol.
