is is possible to alter the timer based on the point spread? if not make it 8 min plz
Autobalance is broken. You can come into the game without having been on any team, the autobalance starts and you can volunteer for it from spectator and still get the bonus and win bonus
here’s a thought: character level /=/ skill level. Just because some people don’t PvE with certain characters and don’t use the enormous amount of tomes they get from pvp instantly doesn’t make them a bad player. And btw
I do not imply that low levels are unskilled or anything i just do not want them to be part of my team when i play the only competitive part of this game – I feel better having people who have spend enough time playing the game and learning it’s mechanics rather than teaching it every match to new players.
this is implying that they are bad because you hold ill thoughts about the players based on level.
@Anet why not just hide character levels? They provide nothing to PvP as everyone is level 80 and only opens people up to idiot’s judgement.
So, let me get this straight. You think turret engis, MM necros, etc. are not as toxic to the community as a mesmer is? Dude, pull your head out of your butt and sop up the tears. Just because you can’t beat a good mesmer doesn’t mean anet should bring all classes and all specs down to your level. Not every class can be as mindless as turret engi or MM necros. If anything I implore more people to try shatter mesmer and try and run it efficiently. Go ahead, try it yourself. I bet you will re-think your whole argument when you die repeatedly cuz you think you can tab out and your illusions will do all the work for you like a turret engi. You are practically the only one making counter arguments to nerf one of the most balanced classes in the game.
The current problem is that going to spectate from the match allows a player on the losing team to hop to the winning team, wait for that autobalance and volunteer. That way, they get 25 extra rank points AND the win bonus. Not allowing players in the match to go into spectate would fix this problem. hotjoins will likely always be somewhat unbalanced due to the nature, but having an autobalance war in the middle of the game is silly, especially because by the time 400 points roll around, nearly everybody has win credit.

My name is Jaymin, I’ve been playing Guild Wars since Prophecies was released almost 9 years ago now. In GW2 alone i have 5,469 hours logged since launch with minimal afk time.
I am currently rank 66 in PvP and only recently started seriously PvPing, having gotten 16 ranks since April 15th, even among end of semester and finals. I have Champion genius and 9 wins away from champion paragon. I can learn any build and play it well with only a little practice and can play every class. Average team que on leaderboards is ~300-400 with non-optimized groups or communications and highest is 241. Soloq highest is rank 105 and I dont SQ much.
I am looking for a guild comprised of PvP’ers that are competitive yet maintain a level of respect towards others. I do not like elitism. With summer coming around I will be online a lot more and I want a network of people I can contact and PvP with on a daily basis.
If you are willing to accept a fun, talented individual willing to accept any constructive criticism to do some competitive PvP in team arenas or scrims I am in EST and play anywhere from 5-15 hours a day.
So I, like many other players, have a countless number number of useless fractal rings kept in storage, for me around 60. Would it be possible to trade them in for pristines at the merchant inside the fract lobby or just regular relics? I think this would be a viable solution to trade them in for pristines to purchase the rings you want quicker or trade them in for relics to get other useful items. Otherwise is there a plan for use of unused rings that nobody wants?
