Whoever is in charge of the Dragonbrand forces in EB is not a smart cookie.

As far as I’m concerned, playing on dragonbrand, any commanders I see are absolute incompetent idiots until rigorously proven otherwise, and there’s only a very few who have met that requirement. Generally I just try to organize things as best I can, but without shelling out 100 gold for a silly blue mark, it can be very difficult to do that.

I hear you there, Its taken me months upon months to get the respect I have; WithOUT an icon. I still get resistance from newer folks. It takes fortitude and inner strength to continue to try to lead in these times. Its all worth it when at least some listen and you are succesful in your goals.

A silly blue mark would make things easier for you guys

^ Would really like to see ANY commander on more often during the day. Would maybe give people a reason to stay. Instead we usually get stuck with 4-5 guys trying to defend our stuff.

The post for the matchup between DB, NSP, and SF was full of good sportsmanship on all sides (At least I thought so.)

Winners, losers…it didn’t seem to require some of the stuff that I am seeing in this thread.

If that’s the case. Feel free to drop DB back down a ranking. I’d much rather compete with those two servers…

Would love to play that matchup again. Had some of the most fun I’ve ever had in WvW that week.

Also @Jinks, In DB borderlands we had a small group defending whatever we owned against your 10+ man zergs for most of the day. We were killing them with ease until the numbers became too great. Also all the 1v1’s that my party and I came across we won. So I guess we can also say that EB has no good solo players. Right?

Sigh. Anet really needs to do something fast about matches like this. 2 days in and the battle is already lost. It really makes it hard to keep logging in. I guess all we can hope for is after this stupid event ends that we can get some decent numbers to make it an interesting battle for 2nd.

What are you worried about? Your guys point gain is so big over night and ours never gets over 400 during the day with SF pushing at the same time. You guys will have 1st place this week.

I just logged in and they were over +600. kitten Must’ve been a ton of transfers today/yesterday, because they had nowhere near this many people playing at this time yesterday. Craziness. Oh well, hopefully our night crew can take over DB and EB again.

Wait, warriors can tank? I’ve never seen it. Range dps is also a joke, we have one skill that hits for 6k+ and it can easily be blocked. If you don’t roll some variation of glass cannon with a GS you’re pretty much screwed.

Now I didn’t start playing a Warrior because I want to tank, or to shoot from a range. I just want some other kitten weapons to be viable. The only melee option other than GS I’ve found good is Axe/Shield, and I only switch to that for the F1 skill, then I wait till swap is done cooldown so I can stun then switch back..

How am I suppose to know who’s doing it? And I hold all of them responsible. They used the portal that the cheater set up, so they are just as guilty.

I know the crafted weapons are permanent, and that there are the 4 hour weapons that you can buy. But what about the skins you get from BLC? Will they last past halloween?
