does anyone have a fix or similar issue? Everytime im playing a meta event, eg Dragon Stand or Auric, the client just freezes and i have to force quit the app.

Im using an IMAC, 3.5 GHZ INTEL CORE i5, 16GB Ram, AMD RADEONR9 M290X 2048MB.

have i missed something? I cant seem to find any squads in the squad/party search under BitterFrost, Ember Bay and the other new map…??? =/

I was just watching clips of the fight against the Marionette back in Season 1, and I’m sort of thinking that we haven’t had these ‘big’ map fights since Scarlet’s death….am i correct? It kind of feels like Season 2, and so far, 3 have lacked these big living world fights.

Is it just me? =/

so since last update, i havent managed to play without crashing within 15 minutes. nearly done with an event and FREEZE. have to force quit the app.

its just that it has never been a problem, even with my macbook pro. and up till these past few days, its been running real smooth on the imac.

can’t be bothered getting a PC or windows machine. XD

my download speed has dropped to like 30kbs/s, whereas usually its in the 1-2mb/s

also my fps has gone down considerably low, 10-12 maybe when im walking around. if i stand still its at about 40fps.

using IMAC 5K retina, its pretty new (not even 2 months), any idea if it’s the patch?

yea and it won’t fully download and start?! anyone got a fix?

hey guys my client hasnt been downloading, always goes from mb/s to 0kb/s. its fine on my other mac, and I’ve tried deleting the application support folder for GW2. any help?? =(

i generally run with few medium settings, and majority low/lowest. does this help?

hey guys! I’m playing GW2 on my macbook pro, but i need a desktop as well. For the iMAC 5k, does GW2 run smoothly, or does the 27inch non retina model run better? Because everything at home is apple at this stage, I’m only considering between the 5k and non-retina model (even though most people say they aren’t worth it!!)

same problem. macbook pro 15’ late 2013. crashes a minute or less into game.

im thinking about purchasing the imac 27’ newest model. the specs are:

2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz) with 6MB L3 cache
8GB (two 4GB) of 1600MHz DDR3 memory; four user-accessible SO-DIMM slots
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR5 memory

will i be able to play this on medium/high settings? my macbook pro 15’ 2009 (via bootcamp) model runs on lowest settings and im getting about…~20fps.
