Perhaps people getting fired or being laid off due to not being able to pay the employees. Besides, this IS a F2P game and players have an option to buy or not buy from the gem store. If this was a monthly subscription based game, I bet it’d be stable enough to pay for more employees.

And more money coming into the business = more employees = more fixes being made because there’d be enough employees assigned to different task of the business a.k.a game to fix bugs. Just my guess.

True but all that grinding and getting your hopes up only to find out it halts at a point where progression won’t go any further. Must suck for that person who wasted tons of cash on Anet Black Lion Trading company to get materials and items to find out that the game is broken.

As the same for anyone who is planning on going further in progression then they find out Gorseval or other raid bosses is bugged then they’d have to start all over from the beginning of the raid.

How angry would you be? Especially crafting your Viper or Sinister gear and spending tons of gold to buy Black Diamonds to craft the gear only to find out later that all your efforts just to be in a successful raid to reach the last boss then a bug happens lmao.

That’s chaos. No different than other things thats bugged for another player who’s trying to level, do fractals, raid, or simply wants to finish crafting and something goes wrong in the process, oh look it’s bugged.

If that’s the case, they should have named the game Bugged Wars 2

So I have completed Verdant Brink and have received Gift of the Fleet after map completion but after completing Auric Basin, Tangled Depths, and Dragon Stand map completion, I didn’t get any of the “Gifts of…” rewards that I’m supposed to get after map completion…

I’m sure many are affected by this but the question is, are those players who completed the whole 4 maps gonna be rewarded their “Gifts of…”? Or are we gonna have to make a new character, do map completion in tyria as well as the new maguuma maps in order to get just that one gift!?

I was in this event, and I was in a group and 3 of the 2 people in my group were disconnected. And even though we were grouped the 3 still could not return to the map. Even if we did it would be likely that we lost all participation that we even had.

That’s what me and my guildie went through, multiple times to the point were it was soooo annoying and a waste of 2 hours

The Bad: Went into Dragon Stand with a group and got all the way into Mouth of Mordremoth (all graphic settings were on low for better performance) then 2 of us got disconnected and we couldn’t join the same map cause it said it was FULL.

Me and another guild member are Rangers and we started from the beginning at 2:00 in Dragon Stand hoping to finally get our Electric Wyvern and Tiger finally after our 4th attempt successful and 8th attempt being in fail groups with no luck due to the disconnects and not being able to join back in the same map AND the SHORT 15 minute timer after beating Mordremoth. THIS is clearly an annoying issue ESPECIALLY for rangers.

Anet expect Rangers to get these two pets with the cost of disconnects and cant get back in the same map and once Mordremoth is dead and still can’t get in and even if we were able to get back in the same map, 15 minutes is not enough time to get the Electric wyvern due to the spawn times and when you have tons of rangers in the event trying to wait for an electric wyvern to spawn.

There’s more rangers doing the Dragon Stand meta than any other class because of the reason of HOPING to be in a SUCCESSFUL event to get the two pets.

Please Anet, fix this issue! It’s really annoying being disconnected on a successful or what seems to be successful map and NOT being able to get back in the same map with everyone and then WASTE another 2 hours of my life HOPING to get in a Dragon Stand event that is successful….

Completed the whole map with my guild 3 times in the past 1 day already lol. It’s so much more easier when you have someone talking on teamspeak telling people what to do in 3 different channels and each channel designated for each lane North, South, and Central in TeamSpeak.

So we just beat Mordremoth and I can confirm that the Juvenile Tigers and Juvenile Electric Wyverns are there….but you only have 12 minutes to explore the place until the map closes…

You also have first come first serve and it takes forever for them to respawn. The tigers and electric wyverns are near each other but on a different platform on the map to the northwest of Dragons Domain. Electric Wyverns are at the Hero Point and Tigers are slightly southwest on a different platform from where the Tigers are.

Our technique in beating Mordremoth was awesome communication through TeamSpeak or a form of VOiP, it extremely helps a whole lot! Especially at the very end after the 3 bosses.

I asked 2 people in-game who were Anet employees with their tag above their head and also submitted a request for the location of the pets but all of them said, they didn’t know or don’t know where they are.

Like seriously!? They made the game and they don’t know where they are!

Been trying to farm Dragons Stand event for the past 3 days and not one group was able to beat it cause the bosses kept respawning, miscommunication, or people just didn’t know what to do and even if people knew what to do, the miscommunication on when to kill the bosses at the same time, failed and one of the bosses would respawn.

Like seriously Anet!? They went too overboard for the Dragons Stand event especially to just obtain a kitten Electric Wyvern!

I did lead event today, with few other guys we had few ppl on team speak to just chill nothing connected with commanding.
We did beat organized guild that used team speak for 25 min and we only had pugs, how about that:)? But it’s true, i did fail 7x (2 hours each event) before i did succeeded!!!

Can you add me in-game and let me know the next time you guys do an organized group for Dragon Stand? I’d really love to join and hopefully get my electric wyvern as well.

Tried it last night and this morning but it was a total fail and disorganized…:(

The electric wyvern is i guess very difficult to get unless you have a kitten epic group to beat the whole meta map in dragon stand….and it’s not that easy since there’s also a time limit and requires good orginization with leaders and communication which I say ventrilo or some form of voip to communicate with other groups to make the battle much more organized and easier…

So we attempted to do a dragon stand event and we got to the last part with the preservers and the bosses. How the heck!? We’re supposed to kill the preservers and that vine, then switch to kill the boss, then back to preservers??? Or is a group supposed to camp at that area where preservers come out and another group camps the boss?

It was so complicating and we started at the beginning time at 2 hours and the map failed….sigh, if this is the only way to get an electric wyvern, then that is messed up….

I have sent in a request to the devs to give a hint or location of where the electric wyvern and tiger are lol. It’s worth a shot, maybe they’ll send me a hint lol

Yeah, I keep going back to check on them as we progress. No luck so far. I really hope the condition isn’t beating the event because that’s not going to happen any time soon. O_O Or at least not without a very organized large group.

The people who were there doing the event said the only way to access that area was to beat the boss and event leading up to it…but im not sure, I havent done it yet.

Then I thought, omg, all this for a tiger or electric wyvern? Lol

Was claimed by someone in chat that after beating the bosses and event to open up the entrance at “Yellow”, the red circle area is where juvenile tigers will be at Dragons Stand

I found a dev in game and she told me that the Wyverns were split up between VB and Dragon’s Stand.
She didn’t know exactly where, but she said if the electric Wyverns were not in VB then they’re probably in Dragon’s Stand

If it’s in Dragons Stand, where or how do we even get in Dragons Stand??? I went in every corner of the 3 maps and still have found a way in Dragons Stand…and if you found a way in, can you post pics please

Can you both stop arguing, we’re supposed to be helping each other find where the pets locations are, not fight about something stupid…..

well that failed…just thought, they would appear….sigh oh well lol

So Im gonna do some testing today and see if my theory is correct since pets in the new areas are affected by day and night of when they are supposed to appear.

Why not just ban those people who got it for free who didn’t even make any effort to gain those titles, skins, and achievement points? I heard rumors that is what they were gonna do since it’s an exploit…

I just bought GW1 last month and got all the expansions and unlock skill packs. I maxed out most of my characters in GW2 and decided to take the time to earn some points in my HoM and got myself up to 23 points.

While the rest of the people complaining saying that they care less and don’t need the skins and achievement points as well as the titles, well that’s easy to say coming from the person that is not a veteran player from the GW1 phase.

I spent a lot of money on gw1 and also spent a lot of money on gw2 and I made the effort to earn my HoM points and to have a measly non-veteran player who doesn’t understand anything about the history of GW1, nonetheless even played GW1 since beginning has no idea what “effort” means.

If you worked hard for something, you should be rewarded from all that effort that was made and not just given to some measly player who haven’t made any effort at all rather than play a game to look beautiful while being given rewards for free without earning it.

For a lot of veteran players, this means a lot to them, it’s not just about the skins, titles, and maybe it is about the achievements points because you unlock rewards that are unique that most players can’t get anywhere unless through the achievement points.

As for the skins, maybe it does matter as well as titles because players who haven’t earned it will wonder where those veteran players got those cool looking skins while leveling a character or that title. Then you can tell that player, “it was earned through my extensive efforts of saving Tyria, Elona, Eye of the North, and Cantha with my heroes in Guild Wars 1 which have been engraved in history in the Hall of Monuments”

It shouldn’t be like, “Oh yea i automatically got this glitch that gave me 50 points in the HoM and 500 achievement points with titles for doing absolutely nothing and didn’t spend a dime in gw1 and made any effort”

Really? If that was the case then all veteran players should be refunded all that money they spent and all that hard work they did through GW1 while everyone can just have 50 HoM points and 500 achievement points for free, right?

In that case, what’s the point in even playing this game if you’re just gonna cheat your way through and be given all the top ascended gear and exotic and legendary items for free? You’ll just end up sitting around in your home instance looking like a statue showing off while no one cares and is trying to get the stuff you have. Sooner or later, you’ll get tired of standing around then move on to another game cause you got everything that no one has.

So since my gw2 is maxed, I decided to get gw1 and work on getting points for my HoM. I’ve managed to get 20 points and hoping to get 30 before the new expansion comes out. I went to HoM today to get and check some of my unlocked skins from my points but it’s disabled.

I got my titles but I just can’t get anything from the vendor due to “HoM temporarily disabled”. I can’t even get my black moa or my rainbow jellyfish! I hope I didn’t spend tons of money on gw1 and the expansions to find out I did all those achievements for nothing…

I had a question about the expansion. Considering that we are playing different classes, I thought about the first month. nonetheless, the first week when expansion is released. I can’t wait to make a new class, the Revenant. But the thing is, I can imagine there’ll be nothing but Revenants running around for the first three months after expansion comes out.

How does this get resolved? Are other classes just gonna sit in their character slots and not be used for the rest of the months ahead or is there some benefits for the other classes too that will make them still fun to play other than a Revenant?

I can just imagine everywhere in every city, every battleground, every map, there will be a Revenant except NPC’s which will stay the same. So what’s in it for the other classes?

I just feel like the Revenant will be the only class people will play for months after xpac and the other classes will just end up being obsolete. Perhaps a new race would have been nice but we know for sure that won’t happen till other maps gets unlocked and other expansions are released in the future.

Still waiting for Cantha to open up hopefully in the future and perhaps maybe unlock a new race to play, maybe a Tengu

So i have read all over and due to cost of Superior Rune of The Traveler, there’s no way I’m gonna spend that much on a rune. So as most professions have a signet or trait that grants them a passive 25% movement speed, where’s the love for the mesmers?

I can’t rely on using the Temporal Curtain Focus Skill with that cooldown, it’s just not that fun….or using other Runes that grants movement speed IF we use a skill or kill a foe…it’s not that enjoyable…

So please Anet, give mesmers at least a signet or trait that grants 25% movement speed!

Well at this point now I just mastered playing my mesmer, guardian, ele, and mainly my ranger. I’m now doing pvp with my Engi at the moemtn which is op but requires a lot of getting used to lol. I guess you’re right on the Thief andMesmers cause I play one of them too but as far as adding the restriction….I would enjoy that to be an addition

So first I want to say that i have had a kitten time playing living world as well as leveling all my toons to 80 and getting them all geared up with exotics and some ascended. Then few months ago I decided to finally get into pvp.

At first I did not have any idea what Hot Join was and then i realized later after I reached “Slayer” title that it’s not like Spvp or Tpvp where there’s more experienced PvP’ers in S/T-PvP than Hot Joins where as Hot Joins we’re more for practice and players who just started getting into PvP, or players that don’t pvp much and prefer to try it a few times every month or 2 months.

Then i started realizing that I wanted to do more than just be a practice dummy and get away from all the people always leaving the team in hot join whenever you had a losing team and people would switch to the winning team, I got tired of that.

I needed to advance to Spvp and i did. Now the first thing I noticed is that you can’t switch to the other team when the other team is winning and you can’t leave the match just cause your team is losing and if you leave or get disconnected for 5 minutes, you get “Dishonorable” buff which you won’t be able to enter Spvp for 10 hours! And that is great!

The only thing i hate is that anyone can join and even the novice players can which causes us to sometimes lose cause they don’t know what they’re doing…they’re novice pvp’ers…

SUGGESTION: Raise the restriction and only allow level 80 characters who have reached level 20 rank in pvp and then at level 20 in pvp rank, the access to S/T-PvP would be unlocked. I don’t want to be mean but it seems like S/T-PvP is similar to Hot Join which I left for a reason. it would be nice to at least make the PvP veteran players enjoy the more advance side of the PvP system instead of being stuck in a team with Novice players where we don’t have enough time to teach them while some of them don’t cooperate in learning how to PvP….we want to enjoy haveing a challenge where it’s so close to your team and the other team being in the 400 mark because you know that the other team is just as good as your team!

Please take the time to consider this, ANET.

And if not then at least nerf Mesmers or Thiefs a little bit more. Actually more like Thiefs that you could nerf.. I have a Thief I use in pvp and wow, I can do tons of damage where it take 4-5 stabs and the opponent is down.

Ok, so I have all my characters to 80 and been doing nothing but spvp. I’ve got my Ranger, Guardian, Mesmer, and Necromancer pvp build all set except my engineer, thief, elementalist, and warrior.

I’ve seen a few warriors using Hammer and wow! so far they’d kill me in an instant especially with their stun. I’ve tried to look online or on youtube for the same build for warriors for spvp and tried a few of them and so far I like the hammer build but need to know how I can stun enemy, and kill quickly.

Where should I spend my points in traits, and what sigils and runes should I be using? Please help! I’m not looking for a survival build, I want to kill the enemy fast so please a hammer build would be appreciated from experienced warrior hammer-users out there XD
