The averge GW2 player is 50% of gamingtime evading enemies. Waypoints on new maps are fewer and far. Mounts are cool, fast, and most important GW2 must be a game for its gamers, and I think most ppl wants mounts implemented ingame.
perhaps it is an unwise addition to a post meant to garner positive responses.
Sorry, I’m spanish speaker and I’m often lost in translation, that expression was the fastest way I found to comunicate that I used to like GW2 jewelry crafting since august 2012 and now I think it’s undervaluated…
With the game system of get ascended jewelry, and jewelry crafting doing only exotics, I see jewelry crafting as an almost useless craft (like a fantasy game cannot be). Must be a way to make it great again!
For example:
I dunno if aura visual effects, like the recently introduced ones with some infusions, are enough easymade to add jewels with auras beyond 400…
Triforge Pendant should be able to be upgraded to legendary and add an aura and maybe another effect(s)…
Charged Quartz Orichalcum Amulet of the Chak could be ascended to exotic precursor of another legendary jewel (maybe only with ascended stats and “change stats” possibility (as the aura of the exotic version is already awesome)).
Dust is already enough expensive then transmogrify recipes could be changed to use less dust, no dust, or another ingredient (like auric dust)…
Maybe u bought more than one salvaging machine and now with shared slots u only need one.
Maybe u bought a pickaxe and now u would prefer sprocket pickaxe…
Maybe u bought the dance book and now u are bored about it.
Then:
Unused items puchased with gems would be salvaged to get a reward…
I find this new offer so useful and quickly I bought 5 of them. But this new feature make certain items bought in the past useless now. My example is Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic. Now with a shared slot u can use same salvage machine with all ur characters… Then, what’s up with the players who we bought that item to more than one character? Now we have a few expensive useless items. I think this change ingame should come along with the possibility of get some item or game currency in exchange of that items bought with gems (non-consumable) now useless or waste.
I have too many spare Transmutation Charges. I spent many of them and right now I have 222. I’m sure about many players are in same situation than me. Maybe we completed 100% of map with lot of characters but I’m sure I’ll never spend all of them, and some players have more charges than me for sure. Would be nice if we could spend spare charges for an alternative reward. Maybe a consumable, new or existing. And if players with less charges want same reward they could buy Transmutation Charges at Gem Store…
I just salvaged many yellows… Few of them failed (30% aprox.), but with one i got 3 ectos. Anyway too much low salvages to do a statistic. I think Anet must do a track of all salvages, thinking too in my problem with a salvage bug (you can read my problem here https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Salvage-bug-2 )

Another point… I bought gems with real money. Then I bought BL kit with gems. BL kit failed. Is this a scam?
Of course, I didn’t bought all of my BL kits with gems but if they have no way to know if BL kit failed I supose also we have no way to know if was a kit bought with gems or not…
I bet you will change your mind when you lose an item. How about your knowledge about needed resources to make this possible? Your job is about system management? Or you say no coz you like say no? For your information, after insist all the more, a GM asked me about exact time when bug ocurred, then it’s not so impossible, smart guy.
Weeks ago I salvaged an exotic with Black Lion kit (100% for get the rune) and I lost the rune. I reported the bug many times and they ignored me. After insist a lot they answer me saying they have no way to check if I said the true. I lost my item forever. How can be a modern game don’t have methods to check that bugs? In all games I played when I lost an item by a bug a GM returned it to me. But we go back like crabs…
Colored bags are nice collectable items but its usefullness is limited as only have 5 slots. My suggestion is to create a new mystic forge recipe for new ascended colored bags of 20 slots. That recipe could be:
X crystals (or X philosopher’s stones)
X elonian wines
1 vial of condensed mist essence
1 colored bag
With last patch was deleted the npc of donation rewards in LA without any alert in launcher (like xmas rewards npc deletion) Thousands of players now should eat their tokens with potatoes. This is not fair. Can you create a way to spend that tokens plz?
