“As a temporary bypass add -assetsrv 64.25.41.2 (make sure to add a space before it”) to your Gw2 Shortcut in the Target Section (you will want to clear this out at a later date)

64.25.41.3, 64.25.41.4 may also work"

Its basically the same thing elites and new map are all the same just different look and effects but the same, lots of bugs they wont fix like nightfury the game crashes more after the expansion. I dont know why im still playing because my main warrior is the weakest spec and all the things i like are buggy. I hope they make gw3 now and enough with expansions that are buggy anyway with a costs of slight changes of the game that focuses them gettig big money

you’re still playing so you can troll people on the LFG

Fresh take on Skins

I came up with this idea about a year ago, but I never expected anet to have any interest in the ideas of the player base. Since then, a lot of their changes have been influenced by our feedback, so I’ve decided to share my ideas as well.

While anet has done a great job with introducing new miniatures, dyes, finishers, outfits and now gliders, I believe there’s an entire untouched marketing area that’d have the same impact on the player experience (and thus anet’s quarterly)
These changes wouldn’t require immense time and resources. They’d be super easy to implement.

  • Banner Skins: Imagine, after 3 years of maining warrior, you’ve equipped just about every combination of colors, silly hats and menacing greatsword skins. Finally HoT is out, so you’re playing Berserker. Is this all there is to look forward to? No! For 800 gems, unlock the Super Adventure Banner Skin Package. These brand new skins will now replace your boring old red and green ones (or purple and orange for you casuals)
Not only that, but when they land, they have the same explosive effect as the Super Finisher! For you Sylvari warriors, we have the Dreamthistle Banner Skin Package… blah blah blah
  • Turret Skins. Why stop at little helicopter gyros? After all engineers have been through, why not let them bond with their turrets? Introducing a Christmas special: Snowman Turret Skins! Little snowmen with cute faces and deadly weapons.. whatever you get the idea.
  • Conjured weapon skins: For when that ele decides that maybe removing half a break bar is worth bringing an icebow. (RIP ice bow)
  • Spirit Weapon Skins, Flesh Golem Skins, Different pets (oh wait we have dragons now) well… what if those dragons had skins of their own? Dashingly Handsome Juvenile Fire Wyvern Skin, only 200 gems!

Feel free to share your ideas guys.

Moving to remove dungeons?

How you could find that less fun than repeating broken paths for gold over and over is beyond me.

You can toss around wordy like “tryhard” and “white knight” all you like, but it is obvious that you’re not interested in playing, it seems, any content that isn’t completely faceroll, or you’re just bored with the game in general.

You’re mad, specifically, because they’re taking the wheels off your gravy train, and now you might actually have to play the game to make some gold.

Cry me a river.

once a day is not “over and over” it’s just playing the game. and just because other people’s way of enjoying the game isn’t like yours (whatever that is… teq and playing your flute in LA?) doesn’t make you superior in any way. they removed farming long ago by adding daily rewards. now, 99% of the player base who run dungeons for gold go through all the easiest paths for the daily gold. it’s not OP, and it’s not broken. it’s a couple gold per hour. if you want to pick on farmers, go to silverwastes. it’s kitten like this that forces me to go into selling fractals (40g per hour) or flipping (60g+ per hour) they are making good old fashioned hard work obsolete.

yeah, i don’t like it either, but i stopped caring so much. what really bothers me still is the giant footsteps with a meteor on asura. dirty grey clouds everywhere that cover most of my asura’s body. who knew that lightning shot upwards from storm clouds instead of downwards.

I would love it. As someone who stubbornly runs cleric with bit of soldier’s Necro with Dwayna runes, apothecary Engineer, buff machine Guard and somehow trying to figure out water attunement on my new Ele, (although I love the Necro to bits, just want a small break), I am pretty rare sight… I don’t have problems tagging though (Necro staff is good when I cannot simply d/f), and truly, as pointed up above, i often stand among a pile of corpses wondering what just happened

yeh. but let’s be more honest and admit that zerk vs rabid/soldier/etc is like a sharp vs dull knife. if you don’t know how to use it, it doesn’t really matter whether or not it’s sharp. i can understand why people run more defensive builds (i used them too before i learned each fight, and i still use them in PvP) i honestly enjoy zerker, not because i’m so busy and important and needa finish fast cause i have places to be.. but because of the high risk/high reward aspect- once you learn each encounter in PvE, it doesn’t make much of a difference to you anyways. when we wipe, it’s not because we needed 2000 extra toughness, but because a pull was messed up/someone gave defiance/no blinds/no reflects/someone got revealed/ etc etc. even then, it’s rare at this point. as long as you play the way that lets you enjoy the game the most and let others do the same, you’re doing it right. and please, before you make the habit of joining zerk only groups in defensive gear, understand that no one forced you to. you saw the post (or should have) and chose to ignore it. this means you really don’t have a legitimate right to complain if you were kicked or they insulted your play style. try to learn the meta tactics for each encounter. chances are, there are plenty of ways to complete them without relying on toughness/vitality/healing power.

i would love it if they did this.
Legendary Armor: can be the same tier as ascended, but with the added option to switch stats out of combat.
or they could just, you know, have pre-saved gear specs that could be switched all at once without having to change pieces one at a time. or both! that’d be even better!

i was running a fractal 48 a few days ago when my party told me about this glitch. i use potions for almost everything, and when they don’t apply, i use maintenance oils- this glitch is messing up my game! i sure hope anet is patching it with the next update.

Regarding future plans for Magic Find

i’m not asking for anything free. i’ve already said this: i just want a return of equal value. tools are an investment, whether or not they are virtual. i wasn’t planning on paying for graduate school with the virtual money i gained with MF armor, so please don’t take my words out of context.
if i have an advantage over people who haven’t bought MF armor, it’s because i worked for the money to buy it. others had equal opportunity to buy the same gear.
if anet decides to compensate me, i will not have gained or lost anything. the guild wars 2 economy did not crash when i spent that money on MF gear, and it won’t crash if that money, laurels, or gear of equal value is returned to me.

i’m excited for the change, and as i’ve already stated, i want to do all i can to make sure my investments are returned in honest. magic find doesn’t go out and farm for you, it takes time and effort on your part to seek out events and mobs. magic find sets don’t drop into your lap. it takes time and money to buy them. i never use my magic find sets in dungeons, so while i agree with much of what you’re saying, just because you don’t care doesn’t mean that anet should not fully consider their players.

i’m also concerned for the very same reasons. it took me nearly three weeks (20 days) of dailies to earn enough laurels to purchase the magical infusion (%20), and it cost me a significant amount of gold to purchase the MF armor, weapons, runes and sigils for my MF sets. let’s not forget the transmutation crystals i bought to transmute them. i sincerely hope that anet is prepared to return the laurels and gold i spent, because if i’m given a silly set of cheap armor, weapons, runes and sigils instead, i’ll lose all of the time and work i’ve invested. some of the skins i used on my MF weapons and backpiece are limited edition; this means that if i were to replace even just the weapon skins, it would cost 44g. altogether, aside from the ascended rings and magical infusion, that comes up to a grand total of 70g and 126k karma. i’m not exaggerating or whining, i just want proper compensation.
