5-6 times I have competed this according to my calculations and still haven’t got credit.

can someone plz help me with this? i cant seem to get credit for this achievement.

this event is buggy as hell. and kitten anet just keeps silent

this is the result of focusing on quantity over quality so they can advertise “we put out content updates every other week”. What they dont say is that most of that content is buggy, grindy kitten.

after not getting this achievement for 6 days today i finally targeted this to get it. I finished my first portal event at 9.08 and my fifth at 9.17. by 9.22 I had done 8 events in total (all for twisted clockwork minions). I still did not get credit. is this bugged? what are the requirements for completing this achievement?

gladiator armor is the closest to elonian/African/tribal heavy armor in the game IMO.

Yes you can switch chars on same account, But you cannot replace the leader with a completely new person in case he has to leave or he gets dc. If the leaders account is removed from the group the rest of the grp is kicked out and the instance vanishes.

Internet issues are out of the users hands while fixing this kitten is 100% in anets hands. And please let me know one country that can guarantee 24/7 internet access even in 2013. Or yeah you cant cause there aren’t any.

After spending 1 hour 15 min in fractals we had the group leader “DC” in the volcanic fractal and now we cant finish the daily cause Anet in all there wisdom decided to bind the instance to the person who started it? Seriously guys this is 2013 not the 1990s please stop wasting time on the living story crap and get the basics of this game right.

My HP when in LA is 19,200 but in fractals its 18,500. Same gear and same buffs. Is this a bug?

i can see them on the map. But when I interact with them the two bags that pop out cant be looted.

its to do with lag. if your ping is 300-350 the number 3 completely spazzes out. You either overshoot by huge amounts or u just drop through the floor of where u targeted. Either way its extremely fustrating and there is nothing u can do till you get lucky with a stretch of good letency.

Or ok 1 person probably with a very good connection and therefore good ping managed this stuff. so lets ignore all the rest of the people struggling cause the kitten jumps wont land where u target. This is not a skill issue. This is a problem with some skills (specifically 3) not working properly with lag in the range of 300+ ms.

I came here to make a post about this. Playing from Australia for this kitten event is a exercise in frustration. I have spent the last 40 min trying to do the crystal on the left side when u exit the ship and the 3 crystals on the right side near the water. Its impossible as 3 will constantly overshoot the target area or just drop u through the platform.

I really hope i have that luck soon. I am beginning to think I will never have infused gear at this rate. They should just allow you to buy the mats with fractals relics i think.

Not every armor and weapon the game is meant for every class and every player. I am sure in the future there will be armor more suited to rogues and your liking.

pretty sure they are not dyeble because of the particle effects on them. Currently the same applies for the flames on the cof gloves (they cant change the red color) considering that the new gear has much more particle effects it makes sense they cant be dyed a different color as it would look weird.

Level 20 and have started running with 55% MF and still no more drops. Will i start getting more at personal lvl 20+?

kk my bad. I got confused. I have only gotten 1 vial so far not a glob. After running close to 70 instances I have 1 vial and that’s it. 0 globs and 0 shards. What level do I get shards and globs at? and are they more common than the vials are at lvl 15 and below?

why are these so rare? I am personal reward level 15 and have 1 glob of mist essence only. At this rate I will never get infused gear. That seems ridiculously rare

I just did a difficulty lvl 10 fractal with personal reward level 9 and got a daily chest. If i now do a lvl 10 fractal do i get another daily chest?

given that they have a chance to drop the tickets they should go up. But It may take a huge time so not worth stock piling IMO.

while there is no excuse for doing this, its because of the achievements that are part of the meta. This makes people who have zero interest in the activity participate just so they can get the achievement and therefore the meta. This time this is made worse by the win 20 games one. I know lots of people just leave the game when there team is behind by 20-30 points and re-queue, Overall anet should just stop adding PvP achievements to metas (or at-least significantly decrease the amount required 5 games and 3 wins etc).

the respawn timer for the queen seems to be hourly. So even if you hold all the settlements she will spawn only once an hour.

no pvP versions will be added in the future hopefully.

The answer is that lore-wise the Asura gates shouldn’t even exist: they were merely put in for player/gameplay convenience. If this wasn’t a video game you can bet they wouldn’t exist, so it is probably just best if you consider them as non-existent for lore purposes.

lore wise WP teleportation does not exist Asura gates are a important part of the GW2 lore. from wiki :-

Good question… Then again, judging by the conversation between the asura and charr in Lion’s Arch, apparently the Asura Gates have trouble sending large amounts of non-living matter through (enough that they charge extra for it). If the Consortium is a stickler for keeping expenses down as most corporations are, perhaps Noll requested an Asura Gate transport, only to get turned down by the accountants who pointedly remind him that the Southsun Resort project is already WAAAAY over budget.

I find that line of thinking to be weak at best(not yours but the reason for using a boat over an instant teleportation device) because the consortium is aware of how dangerous things are and are aware that the contracts easily means more money then some portal fees.

It’s also possible that Kiel volunteered the services of a Lionguard ship to bring the contracts back for free. Again, for companies to whom the bottom line means everything, “free” always trumps any other consideration.

in addition I am sure that the cost of sending a few kilos of paper through (considering we go through wearing full suits of metal plate armor) is a lot less than chartering a ship specifically to send those papers all the way to LA.

why does Noll choose to send the contracts by ship when there is a asura gate to lions arch right there in lions islet?

For random zergs I use full zerker and rifle and stick in zerg and rip people apart (13-15K killshots FTW). For organized WvW with guild I go full PVT with hammer and mace+shield and act as front line zerg breaker.

complimenting warriors for doing what?? SPvP, Organized WvW, random zerg WvW, solo map explore, Dungeon runs all have different needs. The gear you want depend on what you intend to do wearing it.

e.g :- for farming cof1 u want all zerk with double axe and rifle, Organised WvW I go PVT with hammer and mace + sheild (I act as a line breaker). For SPVP and small scale WvW i use knight armor.

I can confirm speaking to TIXX does give a hidden achievement. I was at 11/12 title achievement when i talked to TIXX and on talking i got the title achievement. So i did get some kind of achievement for talking to him that counted towards the title.

u can run the dungeon on alts and you get 250 for each frame run you do on the alt.
