But they come back for sales a few times a year. You can buy them then, but why would you when they are so much cheaper on the trading post.

I haven’t played GW2 since just before the destruction of Lion’s Arch. A lot has changed since then!
One thing I’m confused about is minis and how to get them. There used to always be a 3-pack of minis for sale in the gem store, but no longer.
How does one obtain new minis? I have always wanted a mini fox, and now I have some disposable income and I was ready to try my luck with the mini packs but they no longer exist it seems.
Is there any way now for me to get a mini fox or did I just miss out?
I am having the same issue. I’ve added GW2 to my firewall exception list, run as admin, reset my router.. nothing changes.
As soon as I open gw2.exe, it immediately goes to downloading files. I don’t get the login button or anything.
It starts out at a really crappy download rate (like 50kb/s) and just plummets to 0kb/s, hangs for a second, then says connection errors detected…
After that I have to open the task manager to kill the process because just leaving it does nothing. Doesn’t come back from that point.
Same problem here for both a friend and I. Cannot brief the squad on the mission so we cannot proceed past the opening cinematic.
I hate to say this, but the huge backpacks from the kits are what prevent me from playing an Engineer. They are huge and imo, really ugly.
If they could be hidden, or if there was something smaller, like a bandolier.. I’d give Engi another go.
