We’ve mentioned a few times prior that we’re looking at rebalancing the top-end of ranks to make them more attainable. We came to this decision after player feedback persuaded us to leave ranks into the game, rather than cut them.

The amount of rank points needed to hit 80 is too darn high.

the more luck you have, the easier the players you vs are
so max luck should get you a bunch of 5v4s and new players
more people will play pvp if we added this

2nd idea
I think dishonorable kills pvp and makes a lot of players sad
its unfair to players that have dialup and tend to dc
anet should add a dishonorable booster that removes it
anet you will make more moneys and players will play more pvps

we will be 2steps closer to esports if we get these in effect for next update

BUMP. i would like to see a system of dishonor similar to what was implemented in gw1. even when unjustly given dishonor, it didnt last a day and a half. but at the same time, it deterred leavers.

This is the second time ive had to post for this exact same reason. i was in a guild group today, queuing team arenas and winning. the entirety of anet was having connectivity issues on account of anet servers…. multiples dcs every game from everyone. seriously, no one was safe from the anet lag. my last dc i could not even enter back into the client. when i finally logged back on, i had received 1day and 4 hours of dishonor. does anyone see a problem here? why am i being punished for anets inability….twice?! guh.

Anet doesn’t care, they are just trying to remove spvp/tpvp from gw2. Slowly but surely x.x

If you really want to keep a quality bar, don’t use rank. Rank doesn’t mean kitten. Use solo queue rank – 70% and above, or something.

It is obvious that someone who ranked up by doing tournaments is much better then someone who only ranked up from hotjoins. Yet hotjoin rank points fall under the same ranking system as tournament rank points.

Why not separate Hotjoin Rank from Tournament Rank?
finishers, titles, end of match rank

The people who did the hotjoin exploit obviously aren’t being set back, so why not just separate the two.

Initial Adrenaline generation isn’t the issue. Sustained is. The nice thing about running Endure Pain (now cleansing Ire) is all that adrenaline you build back up playing as Hammer. You’re attacks are slow, youre movement is slow.

I’d feel concerned about using my F1s so often (atleast, to their full potential).

Just feels like your working against yourself with your trait choices.

+50% crit chance isn’t going to help a whole lot considering the speed at which you swing your attacks. And you won’t be able to use that +50% for a full uptime since you won’t be at full Adren a large portion of the time.

Then you’re grabbing Zerkers power, but are limited in Adren sustain as well as how often you probably are using your F1s. I would see a average of +5% damage from a 30pt trait.

You can constantly use the profession skill. 90% of the time it’s on 100% adrenaline. If that’s not the case in your situation then I suggest you roll a necro.

I didn’t want this thread to become a who is more qualified player comparison. I just want a warrior there. If it is me or not that doesn’t matter. Just someone who knows and is willing to articulate the issues properly.

Hey guys Kenny here. As one of the few players who has experience at top level play, there isn’t much questions as to my suitability to talk about the side of the game. As far as lower level problems are concerned I’ve spoken with many new warriors over the last few weeks and am a frequent contributor to the warrior forums. For these reasons I would like to put my own name forward for this task, as I feel I would be a suitable candidate.

I’ve always been one to experiment with different builds and play styles and my shamans amulet shout build still confuses many players in the mists. This is also something I can bring to the table; build diversity. As one of the most experienced shout warriors in the game I know I can discuss aspects of the warrior which perhaps the other suggested names cannot. I also have a twitch account.
