im sure if enough ppl want this, anet will find a way to let us combine a ghostly 5power/5ar infusion with a +7ar infusion and adding a wvw bonus at the same time for a little something like 500-1000g per combination.. i mean, comeon why would a 5/5 power infusion only cost 500ish g if u could combine a 5power/5wvw-whatever-cheap-infusion with +7 ar for just 5ecto/lesser vision crystal !?
i rather see like:
250x +7ar infuion + _insert_random_wvw_or_5/5_or_ghostly_infusion_ + 250 ecto + 250 stabilizing matrix … that would at least reflect more accurately the current crafting-policy (ie NightFury)
same here, i just finished crafting unbound and its not moving … tbh i didnt see any unbound move ingame so far and my settings are all at maximum :S
a question about condi dps class, i rly enjoy and currently run an viper/sinister zerk runes engi in raids, but i read so much about viper reaper (ofc i know about epidemic on gorse if u run 2) but in general terms, who would dish out more dps in raid/fractal scenarios? idc about perfect-paper-ratings but more about what you guys feel in real encounters…
would yet another ascendant viper set for a different weightclass be worth it or not? does the reaper rotation get boring after some time? i mean on engi you dont even have time to do anything else then rotating cooldowns like crazy through all sets..
im still short 1 of those kitten pages to finish my unbound back -.- i rly hope its moving like in that top vid.. that looks AMAZING!!
btw guys, the ones that already finished and got a static one, did u try to equip/reequip it few times or transmute it to a random skin and then back to unbound skin ? maybe that could fix it, i dont rly think its a “bug” maybe its the same problem nightfury had (or still has) when u had it equiped and got in combat the bats stopped and went missing until u reequipped it.. dunno if thats fixed
edit: i just checkt with all my fl/guild and i didnt find anyone with a moving back like in the first vid :/ maybe that was the bug

i really have a problem with the sound, i tried everything but i cannot turn it off completely..
1st. i tried to move all ingame sound-sliders to the left, everything is off but there is sort of a buzzing still comming from my speakers while playing.
2nd. i tried to run gw2.exe with -nosound and with -ns commandline – same result as abouve.. no real sounds/music but still that buzzing..
3rd. i tried to mute gw2 from windows soundslider in the taskbar, i can must the whole pc, then the buzzing is gone, but if i only mute gw2 its still there (ofc only when the window is on top while playing)
i really need help getting rid of that, im glad for every suggestion/info solving this problem !!! and please dont post suggestions like “live with it” or “why you wanna turn off the sound anyway” i have my reasons why i dont want it :P

It’s good gold from mats and idk about 52, I was farming for globs so I could get that high lol
dude, even if you dont care for shards – 1 shard equals 3 globs, so the time you need to farm 1 glob you could have gotten 3 instead.. and as i also stated, you dont even need 1 ar to do this shardfarm, just open a lfg and someone who can open will join anyway.. but what do i know right?
sames goes for shards.. get a party of 2-5 ppl and do the first part of lvl52 (volcanic grawl farm) until they run and start over.. its faster if u and the others equip a RANGE weapon since you dont get hit by kd 24/7… i did that for about 1,5 hours and ended up with 11 shards and a crapton of t5/t6 totems, large skulls, few rares and crap drops..
you can split 1 shard into 3 globs and 1 glob
keep lfg up and running since most guys leave pretty quick.
all you need for this farm is 1 guy that can open the lvl 52 fractal, you dont need any AR since it doesnt apply on this part of the fractal
and i really would love anet to at least let us know whats required for Gift of Fractals and Gift of Infinity so we can already collect that stuff.. i had everything rdy for all 3 tiers of the prec when the info came out and now im only grinding the last daily-gated-research papers for my t3..
tbh the fear of something like 250 research papers as component for gift of fractals is spooking in my head ~~

Some people complete frequently exploited paths legitimately. Banning everyone who has sold/bought any of them is just stupid.
and you just hit the nail on the head.. but still ppl are complaining about others selling paths no matter how they are done..
my point is and always was – dont buy a dungeon rush if you dont like the idea that there could be some skipping involved. if you buy a dungeon rush then stop QQing about paths been sold.
again, everyone who ever bought a dungeon path from a seller should be banned since they took part in the whole exploiting thing..
This may come as a shock to you but there are actually sellers that do everything legit.

why? because NOONE would even consider exploiting a dungeonpath if there was noone BUYING the slots! think about it! why should someone do it? for the 26silver !? no.. they do it because there are ppl paying hundreds of gold..
again if you want to reduce the amount of sold dungeon paths on the lfg tool, DONT buy paths yourselfe..

your legendary only “looks” soulbound.. the way to use it on every char (that, in your case can use warhorn) is:
- get a random white or blue item matches your legendary type (in your case warhorn)
- use a transmutation crystal and combine the skin of your legendary with the stats of the white item
- the transmutation window will tell you it will be soulbound but thats wrong its gonna be accountbound
- now move the legendary to your bank and onto another char
- use a transmutation splitter on the new char and you get your original legendary back
your done.. this process costs you like 340 gems..
not a bad thought.. still my suggestion would remove more gold from the game, so i “hope” anet likes it :P
anyway.. my point is – ppl really want a way to use soulbound stuff on toons too :/

infinite uses – using set amounts of gold depending on the items (accountbound)
Functionality:
Double-clikc -> a window appears -> you drag any SOULDBOUND item into the window -> accept button -> the item is ACCOUNTBOUND and Soulbound on use !!
the amount of gold needed to "re-accountbind & soulbind on use " any item is set on its quality!!
- Legendary quality – 25g any legendary weapon/or other items that may come later
- Ascendant quality – 20g any ascendant weapon/armor/trinket(rings/amu/back/earrings)
- Exotic quality – 15g any exotic weapon/armor/trinket (rings/amu/back/earrings)
- Rare quality – 10g any rare weapon/armor/trinket (rings/amu/back/earrings)
- Masterwork quality – 5g any green weapon/armor/infinite gathering tools/trinket(rings/amu/back/earrings)
this Gold-Fed Acc-bind-o-Matic would make gw2 a lot more alt-friendly by allowing players to move their hard-earned items onto the char they wanna play most at any given time!
for example, if i have everything on my mesmer but somehow i wanna play another char more in the future, the Gold-Fed Acc-bind-o-Matic would allow me to simply “move” gear like legendary weapons/ascendant trinkets/unlimited harvesting tools/.. onto the char i wanna play right now for a decent amount of gold.
please give us such a thing!! its a win-win improvement for anet and the player community! ppl would play more chars and they would spend a crapload of gold by simply moving some equipment parts they cannot obtain within a seriouse period of time otherwise..
i have 8 lvl 80 chars and and only 1 has full ascendant trinkets, because i just dont wanna wait for 120 days (3 months) to get an amu + 2 earrings PER char.. but i would instantly pay gold to just move those things to another char and use it there for a while!!
anet – please make this happen for us!
i have minstrel too, and it still lacks in visual effects..
since its an offhand only, footprints are not needed BUT it would at least need an aura like the purple quip aura! since minstrel already has notes floating in different colors..
suggestion: PLZ give minstrel an aura that changes/flashes the color according to the note-trail ! you have the aura already coded so it cannot be hard to add it where it would really be needed.
i did transmute a fractal capacitor (infused) onto a white back strap to make the skin accountbound and then moved to another char. there i used the splitter and got the backstrap AND the infused capacitor back! the only thing that was lost, was the +5AR infusion for 75 relics..
this way should still work on any item..
with non-ascendant items i would recommend you transmute onto backstrap → move and transmute again onto exotic. thats cheaper then using a splitter..
at the moment, splitters are only worth using on ascendant/legendary items..

i was thinking the same.. i expect the split-stone to work like this:
- drag a transmuted legendary into the window of the split-stone
- i guess the original legendary with its original sigil will show up
- maybe you be able to select between the last sigil you put into it and the one that comes by default
i think we wont get the overwritten skin/item back too but i hope at least for the original legendary + the actual sigil thats in it..

since there will be a sendout to ppl who transmuted legendaries, those split-stones are supposed to split a transmuted legendary back to its original legendary..
ok, but what if i transmuted my legendary several times to match my builds ? will it still give me the original legendary or will it just split between the last 2 items i transmuted together??
in fact i made and used twilight on guardian then:
- transmuted twilight onto a white greatsowrd (in order to make it accountbound)
- moved the account-bound “white twilight” onto my mesmer
- transmuted it onto a berserker stats exotic to match my mesmers build
will it still get split into the original twilight and something else?
- or will the stone split into all items used during the process?
- or will it split only into the “white transmuted twilight” & the exotic berserker GS ?
i know a few ppl who did similar things with a lot more transmutations between the original and the final comeout (moved the legendary between 3-4 chars with around 15 transmutations total)
i know we will see whats happening tonight, but if anet didnt think about multible transmutations, they could fix that before the patch goes live and ppl start crying (like i will :P )

the real question would be:
are there gonna be 2 different infusions for 1h and 2h weapons? 10AR-2h only-infusions and 5AR-1h only-infusions to compensate the missing slot?
if you guys know byron, plz ask him about this.. as its gonna be important for a lot of ppl running higher fractals…
@ Kim Possible : while I agree with your statement regarding OP’s situation, I don’t agree with this concept of “sell everything you get as soon as you get it and don’t hoard it” as a whole.
Because, while it’s good to keep a fair amount of cash in case of emergency and to jump on opportunities when they show up, hoarding money you don’t use won’t do you any good in this game.Why?
Because there’s no saving accounts in GW2 so far which means that each and every penny you store in your bank will lose of its value over time because of the inflation.
Even if T6 mats (I mention them because it is the main topic of your post) aren’t the best mean to keep your money up with the inflation, it’s still better than letting it rot in your storage (checking sites like spidy will show you they follow a slow but steady increase in prices as long as there’s no new farm, which is btw why it’s not the best way to invest money).
Of course if you plan to play the TP, then yes you’re right : better sell it all and invest in more profitable stuff. But for the average players, hoarding those is still better than hoarding money.
i just used T6 as an example.. im talking about all mats/food… at least thats the way i do it.. and i never had a problem with gold while working on a 3rd legendary right now.. i see why ppl think they should keep something, but when you dont have a goal you are working for, it is always better to have gold ready to buy whatever trash you want instead of banking crap that might give a few silver profit over a month..
its also totally stupid to go for a legendary and start by banking everything that is needed … as i said, set your goals.. i play after “my own 2 rules”
1st: sell everything
2nd: 1 thing at a time
that results in 2 different things, first you always have or at least feel like you have gold to buy stuff and second you always feel progress while goin for something..
in terms of legendary, the way that gives you the most “progress” feeling is to follow rule#1 and save for your prec, you will get even to 500/600g rather quickly since you wont have mats worth a lot sitting in your bank.. after the prec you follow again rule#2 by selecting 1 thing that you need.. letz say T6 dust.. again rule#1 and buy t6 dust until you finished 250. then go for the next and so on.. when i go for t6 scales for example i sell all other mats needed for the legendary too while im working on my (very) short term goal t6 scales.. that way i always feel the progress and still i always have money…
i know most ppl cannot follow this, the way i think about it, but for me it works very well and a lot of guildmates already started to follow this 2 rules and some of em are already done with a legendary/working on 2nd/3rd that way too..
feel free to use my 2 rules, but if you dont like this concept – just do it your way..
#Less buying, more playing. You can buy almost everything you need for a legendary on the TP. You only need badges (currently thrown at us in obsene numbers), karma, SP’s, Map exploration, and a few dungeon tokens. Everything else can just be bought. I suggest vastly increasing the dungeon tokens, add in laurels and other account bound items, and decrease the buyable items.
- Less sparkle, more awesomeness. Most of the first legendary weapons are pretty silly… the pistol, the SB, and the mace in particular. That’s fine for the people who want that sort of thing, but please diversify. Necros just look silly with their selection of legendary weapons.
- But then you run into the opposite issue. Instead of complaining that it’s all about grinding gold, people will just complain that it’s all about grinding whatever you change it to. Laurels are already causing people to complain that Ascended stuff is timegated. Dungeon Tokens are already hoarded by people in massive quantities, so that wouldn’t really change anything at all.
- You call them silly, but there are people who genuinely like them. For example, I think that the effect of Dreamer is hilarious, but similarly I think that the whole design of Twilight is sad. It’s a freaking massive sword of reflective darkness. That’s not only very 12-year-old, but also way too overdone.
And let’s not forget, Legendaries do not need to be the shiniest, coolest skins in the game. All they need is to have something special about them, such as the footprints or the moving parts.
No your wrong, legendarys HAVE to be the best looking weapons in the Game. There would be no point in working so hard for months on end to make 1 if it was for making some cheap looking broadsword.
or the focus.. no footprints/particle effects/aura(like quip)/no anything.. if you dont ping on mapchat no other player has even a chance to notice it lol..
im not asking for a burst of unicorns raining like a firestorm from the sky when using a skill… but you get my point..
its just like the real world.. if you crash your 10.000$ car the repair wont cost as much as for the 150.000$ porsche.. so why should a lvl 12 armor have the same repair costs then the lvl 80 one ?
same goes for wp costs.. my son travles the subway for 1/3rd of what i pay for a ride ..
do a few dungeons or fractals and SELL what you find there – then you can teleport waypoints for the next 6 months..
most ppl complaining about repair/waypoint costs do the most basic thing wrong:
> loot is there to be SOLD < .. sell your crap, dont bank stuff you dont need.. and if you ever need something you sold before, just buy the amount off the tradingpost with all the gold you made from actually selling stuff.. think about real-world again: the owner of a food-store wont be sitting on his goods in case he might need 250 liters of milk or 250 steaks sometime in the future.. he will sell that stuff and when he goes home and actually wants a steak, he just buys one with the money he made from selling his goods..
so in gw2 terms again: why bank 250 T6 bloods when you dont need em !? why bank 2 T6 bloods !? just sell em .. sell everything and you always have gold to buy whatever you need RIGHT NOW.. that goes for any material/food/gems/orbs/lodestones/what so ever…
sell everything – have gold to buy stuff you need..
sell only white/blue/greens – complain about waypoint/repair costs..
and ofc, “sell everything” goes hand-in-hand with gather everything.. dont run by a tree without chopping it down.. its basically free gold sitting on the map.. like everywhere all over the place..
i think 99% of all players should understand that :P

Well it kinda already is. You just have to find a group with someone that can start whatever level you want, and have the ascended items with AR needed.
and that is the problem .. my thief is lvl 59 and i dont enjoy it anymore ..
i do play a lot with my mesmer now, and im stuck at lvl 30-39 because i had or still have to grind all the ascendant gear with 45ar that my thief already has in order to progress…
i understand that trinklets/back cannot be accountbound but there should be a way to actually create earrings too at the forge.. there is a recepie for each backitem (i dont like the skin, but i am free to get a asendant back with +5 ar and dont have to grind for 2850 fractal relics before i have it ..)
Since there will be an option to change stats out of combat and also existing legendaries will get their stats matched to ascendant weapons, i was wondering:
What happens to TRANSMUTED legendaries?
there are a lot ppl (me included) who changed the stats to something useful and now we might be on the downside? are the stats of already transmuted legendaries matched to ascendant weapons too? will their stats be changeable too? (i dont care about possible statchange..)
the question is simple, because so many players wanted to match the stats of their legendary to their builds, do we now have to make an ascendant weapon and transmute the legendary onto that AGAIN !?
an official statement would be really intresting, since there are many ppl who did work very kitten getting a legendary and now might be punished for running stats they actually want to run
Anet is screwing people dumb enough to buy these tools, and you knew it by the soulbound status on item in gem store before you bought it
ofc i knew they are soulbound when used ! but thats not my point.. i also knew they are not worth in terms of saving gold, but still i and many others just wanted to have em ..
so for all ppl who got those tools, i am sure most of em wish for a way (even if you have to pay gold/gems) to transfere em to other chars too! anet could just put em on gemstore permanently.. i guess i would buy a set for all my chars when anet anounces that they wont give us a way to transfere em ever.. maybe its because im just lazy filling inventory slots with gathering tool or i just like the effects..
plz give us some way to use those tools on all our beloved chars!
Anet i love those unbreakable gathering tools, and since everyone knows that they are actually not saving gold compared to normal ori tools, a lot ppl still wanna use em!
i got myselfe 2x pick 2x sicle and im planning on getting the axe also, but since i have 7 chars that i frequently play for a few days/weeks and then stay on another char for the next days/weeks its very frustrating that there is no way to move my tools to the char i like to play most at any given time..
i know would not be good to simply make em accountbound, BUT – you could give us a way like a gemstore token i.e.
80 Gems = 1 Token (10% of the each tools price per token)
each token can be used 1 time only, "use this token to convert a souldbound gatheringtool back to accountbound + soulbound on use
that way we could spend some gold in order to have our favorite tools on the char we like the most at the moment or simply add some option like pay 1/5/10g to soulbind the tool to another char on that account..
