It was slowly dying before HoT released and then took a nose dive for like 6 months after release of the expansion. Links didn’t kill wvw, it killed server identity, but merges of some sort at some point would have been needed regardless.

Yes we have and its getting to a point where WvW gets cut from play or the dungeon treatment. ( which is what anet has been doing already) A fair amount of my guild has stopped playing the general and I no longer play WvW because… really no point anymore.
No need to turn yourself into an Anomaly. Didn’t even know you could.
To complete the Burden of Choice achievement, all you need to do to unlock it (and then follow the guide in the Current Event achievement panel) is to walk up to a phantom Anomaly. (The NPC kind that has been haunting us for months, not a player one [which I, personally, have never seen].)
I’ve finished all the current content released with this patch. (Unless there is some hidden achievement that has to do with your player-anomalies. It may be just a joke.)
If you haven’t done ‘Sad Anomaly – Burden of Choice’ current event and talked to Auris Weirdbringer and got the Class II Rift Stabilizer than please don’t comment.
This is really really really sad. You made this event and clued players to use the code ‘97’ and turn us into anomalies. And now random players kill us for fun because we can’t fight back and we can’t talk to the NPC. We tell them not to do it and they do it anyways because its fun. This is the worst current event— the worst event period— you guys have released. Unless you wanted to know how malicious other players can be. They know we can’t report them. This event shouldn’t be run like wvw or pvp. and if you are going to do something like this than at least let us fight back I’m about done with this game.
Works great now after the patch. Did scale 100 Fractal with the worst group of ppl (forever fighting but always dying). Mouse clicks worked and I was in CA most of the time a quarter into the boss fight. So whatever caused the bug may of been cross linked to a different bug in the patch.
[Update] After reading some of the comments in this thread and trying it out in Fractals and PvE, if I used F5 rather check CA with my mouse CA will work 100% of the time. Clicking CA with the mouse is were CA drops out 90% of the time. So the problem (for me) with CA is more of a GUI interaction with the mouse than the skill being bugged.
This bug isn’t limited to fractals it bugs everywhere. I tired to heal during a Bloodstone Fen event and CA kept resetting. I couldn’t even heal my party in the new swamp fractal because of the bug and we kept wiping. I just left the party and closed the client because there was no point in me being there. I’m extremely surprised this bug hasn’t been fixed because how popular druids are in raids. And its bs that they haven’t fixed it yet
I used to love this zone until players started forming one massive zerk leaving only a few players at times to do the event. Yes ppl in the zerk get massive exp but for those who only fight in, lets say north, they have to do it with low numbers when the zerk moves on and sometime the meta fails because of greedy players. This is the only kitten meta where you can have one zerk in the HoT zone and it should get nerf. I haven’t played this zone in months because of it and I’m not about to start until this BS is stopped. Put up veins in between or something. This is only hurting the quality of game.
deselect your elite trait line on your toons and try loading elite skills on the bottom panel. There is a shiny nickel in it for you if you can get it to work.
And take lots of screen shots or it didn’t happen.
Please fix the trait line for elites. I’ve looked at all of my toons and the Elite trait line is missing. Somehow someway my element elite trait line popped up after 3 weeks of not being there. PLEASE FIX IT FOR NEXT UPDATE.
You can only access it on the bottom panel. Its got a slight gold box around it
smh…. incorrect! You first need to have elite trait line selected before you can enable skills and weapons for the elite specialization. The bottom panel will not load the new skills without an elite trait line active. I have 5 80 lvls with elite skills train but only one with an elite trait line I can select. This is why the elite skills and weapons don’t work for some of the players on this tread. They can not load the elite trait line because it doesn’t show up!!!

Its almost been two weeks and the elite skills/ weapons bugs is not fix. At what point should those who bought an HoT early request a refund because this is BS.
I can’t seem to be able to equip staff as a ranger. I have unlocked the staff proficiency and all training up to celestial shadow but I still can’t equip the glyphs either
open ur HERO and choose built…. the last of the 3 slots is eligible for druid selection…click it
The last part of the story, would be great if the dragons domain have a repair kit … (near the rotating stairs).
I wish I thought to look in my slots…. oh wait… I did. :|
Since the release date of HoT I have not been able to use any of my elite skills of weapons on any of my characters and its really kittening me off to the point of uninstalling and and demanding a refund.
I’ve max leveled my druid but it still shows up has a ranger and I can’t the staff issued by the game because its unusable by my profession. :/ None of the skills up when I try to select them even tho I earned them. Its like my account is stuck at basic gw2 but I can play all the HoT maps and use mastery skills.
