Are we speaking about pvp? Your forgot that we have 2 weapon sets? You need to combine those sets, so they can work together… GS is GREAT weapon in WvW, coz of its mobility (best mobility weapon), great burst (from 3rd skill, no 100b), extra evade. If u are saying GS = 100b, just try and play p2p a bit…

GS is great with hardhitting weapons, with no mobility. Like Axe. But for example with ranged weapons its total waste, and jsut dumb idea.

(and axe offhand always is bad choice tbh…)

OP is jsut saying “Don’t make change, coz it will be unfair to others, and anyway – somebody will be mad”.

Thats just… if system its – it should be chaged. Simple as that imo.

People are mad about precursors, coz they are expensive. In terms of gold, in some weapons price of 3 gifts = price of precursor, which is sad.

Legendary SHOUD be item which says "ow, this guy is good player, and spent a lot of time here.

Atm legendary says “ow, this guy likes to grind” or “this guy buy gold, kewl” or “this guy were so lucky during karka event”. Nothing more. This should be legendary? Don’t think so.

At current state its just legendary grind.

Em… many (or even all) pugs group don’t know how subject alpha works. Go with guild/friend, and figure it out. My guild group is doing path 2 and 3 without any problems. 0 deaths at subject alpha, very easy and straight boss.

Actually I like subject alpha coz u need to figure his skills and mechanics. But especially for you:

Path… he got 2 skills: Fire AoE only targets people at range, so if u stay close to him = no AoE

His Ice AoE target all players, but only 1 AoE is doing dmg “in middle”. Also, this “right” AoE always targets same person.

Solution? See who is targeted by “right” AoE* – that person stays in range. Avoiding This AoE + Fire AoE is easy, without vigor and swiftness even, u have plenty of time to do this. Rest of the group stays near boss stacked. They take no dmg (Ice AoE won’t do dmg in middle) – they just stand and deal damage, 0 evades, 0 moving.

His crystal prison targets closes person to him, so it will be dpsed by others in no time.

• - this “right” AoE have different animation then others, u see right away which one is it.

Easy boss. Nerf that? Cmon… he got only TWO (or three on later phases) skills, and thats hard?

Don’t say something is hard, or not designed if never tried to understand boss and mechanics…

I was curious coz – for long time they should be pretty rare (coz of bugged glacial core upgrade recipe), some recipes with em being discovered (bow). And yet price was always low. Not even close to other lodestones. And I don’t really think that wrong name will change anything (btw… how long it will take devs to repair that?)…

For me it’s only strange situation. They are also used in some legendary recipes, right? So there should be demand…

Btw – one post in forum won’t do any bubble. And anyway it was easy to make gold in last days.

Why glacials are so cheap compared to others? Shouldnt they have more use?

Melee warrior without mobile strikes is not a warrior imo.

Solves so many problems…

Upgrading Glacial Core gives Charged Lodestone instead of Glacial Lod(n?)estone.

Probably it’s known bug, but didn’t see any topic about that…
