I laugh because they are acting like 2 year olds
On my elementist I find being on the ground easier like the OP stated. However, on my mesmer being on the ground means seeing obstructed about a billion times. That same knee wall that blocks your line of site means I can’t hit a thing on the wall unless they jump up and stay there long enough to target them and get off a skill.
LOS issues need to addressed. But I don’t think removing the knee wall is the answer. Frankly, I find yanking people off the wall to pretty lame and no knee walls would result in that tactic being used far more often.
What would be nice is a knee wall that prevented you from getting pulled over but didn’t block LOS.
Another option would be to change how LOS is calculated. Make the calculation from the attackers head to the targets head (well a fixed head height so everybody is equal) instead of what currently appears to be feet to feet. This would also fix having a pebble between you and your target giving you the obstructed message as well.
To me one of the biggest problems is the 3 servers.
In theory, it sounds great. The two weak servers will gang up on the strong one and it will balance out.
In practice. The 1st place server stomps the 2nd and 3rd. The 2nd place server getting stomped by the 1st attacks the 3rd place server as well since they can’t dent the 1st. End result 3rd place server logs out for the week.
The concept of having the two weaker join up is a good one. It’s just implemented poorly. To make it work the two weaker teams need to be marked as allies and not be able to attack each other. The specifics of when the two weaker teams become allies would need to worked out but the current system doesn’t work at all.
I have to agree with auto looting to your bags. WvW is far too mobile to try and pick bags up.
Trying to PvP and pay attention to loot bags is a bit silly.
I really like the idea of the items going into your inventory as a stackable bag so you don’t have to deal with inventory while PvPing.
Not only does the pathing need fixed but they need to address rezing the NPCs as well.
Your guys die and you are SOL. You can’t revive them because the mobs that killed them are standing on top of them. Retry from checkpoint should really be “waste more time, get more frustrated, and get a bigger repair bill”
