Thanks for explaining what the problem is and for you work so far. In regards to the packed loss, I’ve tested my internet a couple of times for packet loss and had from very little to none.
Could this be a swisscom problem that is only related to GW2?

After 2 failed login attempts I managed to finally choose my character and start. It is working at the moment but I’m sure it will stop really soon like yesterday

It looks like you stopped the test just a tad too early. If you could let it run a little longer it should export all the information we are looking for.

I tried the port test, still nothing. The funny thing is, that when I got home at 11:00 AM the game was finally working and now it isn’t anymore…
I’ve also got Swisscom, tried pretty much every advanced thing to fix this problem. It can only be on Swisscom’s end or ANet’s end. I know other people that have swisscom and can play just fine.

The workaround at the moment is to play on a US server.
It’s not very fun though, I just stopped because the lag is very bad.
I saw a guy saying OPEN DNS worked for him, I will try this tomorrow, I also advise everyone to call Swisscom (I think it’s everyone that has swisscom (?))

Oh thank god, I’m not the only one, YUP Geneva here. Hope it’s temporary and it gets fixed soon, thank you so much for the response. If there is any sort of fix you discover please share it with everyone

Today i tried logging in on my character and after the loading screen an error appeared
here is the link (it’s in french but i’ll translate):
“Network error, the connection error to Guild Wars 2 may be caused by different “routage” problems or a problem of a network server"
Been trying the entire day, turn off firewall, open router ports, open firewall exceptions, reset the router etc….
I’ve been playing just fine since the game launched and out of no where the game just stops working. I really need help from someone more experienced.
Btw: Sometimes it fails to login to the authentication server it’s very random.
