Thanks for everyone’s input on this topics. I personally use arcane/water/tempest with cele and durability runes as well but with a staff! I feel like I am doing perfectly fine lol. TBH I think this combination is pretty strong in open world or in wvw! If u guys are insterested I would provide my build when I get home !!

Hi guys, this is mainly for wvw and pve on any mode. This is for casual player. Not for hard core mode damage or healing bot. just a little bit of everything.

The strength of this build is might stacking. good survivability, boon uptime and good damage.

any critiques are appreciated.

well i mean this build has some variations. if we feel like we need more cleanses we could change soothing power to cleansing water… that should be enough for cleanses. personally i prefer soothing power.. cuz i move like a healing signet.. lol .. i feel like this build has might stack and alot of stun break. decent damage.

Hi everyone I have a question about legendary Armor set. do they craft from ascended armor or use completely brand new mats?? because I am recently crafting the ascended armor … so if legendary armor uses completely new mats. then my ascended might be wasted…. Thanks for your response

I am in the process of crafting ascended armor at the moment. since the legendary armor is coming out, is it means that ascended armor is useless after legendary armor come out ????

In my build i use aura sharing or cleanse water ….. and trooper rune that increase cleanse … there is one trait that is still old .. that is earthen proxy .. i use the regen and vigor one ..

this is my build right now .. and i use trooper.. cant find it on the builder… it give me alot of aura up time alot of heal regen. and cleanse… feels kinda good lol

in a group fight .. those heal are not very important. ele is being hit constantly 5-6 condition with 4000 per hit…. those heal doesnt last long. theif easily hit you 4000 above

After the patch anyone has a reasonable build for staff elementalist??? is the healing elementalist possible in this patch ? need feed backs thank you guys. i am currently using 00666.

Anyone know why there is so little people in pvp hotjoin? all server together is less than 100 people in the afternoon and less than 200 at night ~~?

I am using the celetial trinkets and PVT armor i only have 747 healing power if i switch to cleric’s armor i will have around 1300 healing power but i lost alot of vitality and alot of power. i dont know is it worth it for cleric armor

just find out that sigil of renewal is pretty good too looks like . but not sure how much it will heal

did any know how much sigil or renewal will heal ??

I like this build but in wvw what kinda rune you using ??? there is no superior rune of monk in wvw or dungeon..

I am currently using the lightning rod with a staff. i just feel like it is kinda fun to use. but it is very hard to interrupt people with staff.. you only get air 3 air 5 and earth 4 to interrupt ppl.. but for a staff ele i think is better than fresh air because if you are using fresh air you are trying to max the lighting strike then all your attunement will be on CD… it is not good for staff ele. maybe fresh air is good for d/d or s/d ele.

Anyone want to share thoughts about new build after the patch for staff elementalist. I am personally using 0/20/0/20/30 or 30/20/0/0/20 for wvw and pvp.

We are getting 4 GM traits But how is that practically helping staff ele?
is it just for d/d ele for the new GM trait??
I just try out that using healing power + toughness + condition damage gears and putting 0/0/10/30/30 by using the elemental surge and arcane blast, arcane shield, arcane wave + the arcane heal to put more condition on people. It didnt work very good for a ele in pvp setting because it kills very slowly. the sustain is good.

so any idea how to build a ele for general after the update??

i have a 80 on mes and 80 on ele. mesmer its hard to used too. but compare with ele .. i think ele is in a worse place then mes. in pvp i see half of people are using warrior, some theif, engi, mesmer. in alot of time i see no ele at all. and mesmer could do alot in wvw such as hiding in keep and waiting for big zerg drop portal. but u guys are right mesmer needs some aoe damage.

yea i try both … arcane evasive is better. imo in pvp.. d/d or s/d its alot easier to used than staff ele.

I have a question between those 2 skills if i am runing arcane briliances, arcane wave and arcane shield with the arcane CD reduction. which one should i choose Evasive arcane or elemental surge?? thank you

without the blasting staff i feel like the ele fire lava become too small to be useful…

I have been experienced Lighting Flash bug on Elementalist. does anyone experienced the same bug? After i used Lighting Flash i could not move even there is no condition on me. and I have to use a spot moving skill to move such as a Staff fire 4 skill to move. please fix this bug for ele . ele had been weaken every patches and now more bugs..

I am currently running a knight build plus berserk/cereatial trinkets and wanna try out the Healing / condition or healing power build on ele too. any suggestion on Healing / condition or healing power build gear, trait and rune for wvw? and how good is the scaling on healing power for ele? Ty
