This will probably be one of my last posts.
I still remember fighting vs people with 3 orbs and having none it was stupid. Guilds would actually be way too hard to kill even if that guild was not so great. When you had 1 orb only it was major difference.
That being said GVG is fairly done for. People saying we will continue. alot of guilds now is all kitten for score on gvgsite avoiding each other. Wont do gvg unless the exact 20 from guild etc. You expect them to do it with big disadvantage?.
Yes the community drove gvg after its creation. However you cant fight game mechanics. Also being a realists to inner guilds kittens makes this even worse. After all the first GVG RG vs sin. Was not even numbers we had about 27 they had 40+ or so but we never cared. However then it was made more official being even numbers, few rules which we know today.
The topic of making a gvg league will not work. Reason i thought about it back when playing. Also raniri from ecl wanted to do it after sfr. Why did it not happen. Alot of guilds dont just run 24/7 gvg they want to bomb zergs. Some of them even like playing points or having a random zerg during day to jump on for some kills. They said 3 leagues for EU / 2 for US. So thats still 9 servers so thats not even close to having 3 closed off servers to make a gvg league on.
Then the issue say RG or x guild go to 1 of the 3 servers but everyone wants to fight them. Then x guild that wants to fight x cant because on same server wanting to fight vs RG. It just dont work. Then add in fact they said all servers will play vs each other once. thats 6 other servers who wont have gvg community on them. One side holding the orbs? lol thats almost impossible and you expect specific guilds to just stand about waiting. Come on naive much.
Not to mention this is even before we get to the overall layout of servers. Top tiers more people bigger zergs/more guilds. The lower tiers where you would want to do this is way more casual and less numbers running around where in t1 is 100-80 man zergs to 20-50 man guilds. There is 2-5 man, soloers. Zergs of 30-50. It would be a massive destabilization of lower tiers. I can guarantee there would be people annoyed because of this and come ruin and interrupt your gvg. You will get trolls messing with the orb buffs.
Yes community needs to hold strong. Hold strong on what a cancer ridden gvg which will slowly annoy people to death. I would rather just shoot it in the head and be done. More hate on anet is required.
Move on or go around using siege and roleplaying like they want or zerging on pug commander. The underdog fighting vs orb buffed zerg. Since same reason kitten orbs was removed has still not been considered to why we putting them back in at basic level.
My 2 videos will be out tonight. my main one will be this weekend/next week cause of codec issues, thats my wvw/gvg one.
You can watch the whole story on these topics. I feel sorry for the people who still have hope the most.
Love Sacrx.

Hello Prince

That’s really awesome, AGG and RG are hands down one of the best guilds in GvG GW2. Congrats on beating them in GvG. Much respect.

Dem lewt bags after lewt bags worth 20g JQ in SoR BL and 5hours of footage.
Also nice Agg, RG troll tags, we were like why they drop so fast..
I actually think it’s great if SoR & JQ 2v1’s Blackgate and I hope it happens more often
It’ll be interesting to see what happens to SoR when JQ isn’t there. I know JQ still remembers what happened when they didn’t have SoR in their match-up last week…
OO u mean u had more overall coverage then them and won ? congrats plzz keep chest thumping it and insulting jq it only Hurts u esp in a 3 way match
SOR
I’m sure theres a lot of people on JQ and all matters of servers that don’t like TW being on JQ ATM, but I have to give credit where credit is due, they’ve been putting in work!
I don’t think people remember several months ago when Free Transfers were still around and people and guilds would hop around servers weekly on EU and NA looking for better fights, just because they could.
Can’t blame anyone for wanting to come to this matchup, the fights thus far have been phenomenal. I’m sure its a lot better than facing off against two demoralized T1 servers for another tedious week. Still haven’t encountered a lot of DB myself but theres hordes of Blackgate to fight on every map, its been enjoyable.
If random mismatches are the future of WvW, touring might just become a trend once again. Seems to me stacking servers has become an obsolete meta.
Don’t know what I’m talking about? Wait till you’re facing Eregon Terrace and Hendge of Denravi for a week.. Theres so many of us piled onto SoR, BG and JQ now that there isn’t much of anyone left for the other servers.
I was thinking the same thing myself today…people can go on about how great their server community is all day.. but when it comes down to WvW guilds, enjoying the game with your guild > server loyalty, pretty much every single time without fail
If ANet is going to keep throwing these bizzarre matchups at 21/24 of the NA servers (I don’t know enough about the EU side to know what’s going on there) they should open up free transfers to lower populated servers or discount the gem price to “Highly” populated servers and let people shop around and actually enjoy the game.
I humbly disagree on the generalization that was made. Myself and many others on JQ are fiercely loyal to the realm. Regardless of what the randomization brings i know many of us will stay put in JQ and ride it out.
Idk man, I was on HoD, I was on SBI, when a server is faced with big problems.. the majority of hardcore guilds will look at what is best for the long term growth and enjoyment of their guild over everything else.
I wasn’t really referring to any JQ players, because things are a lot different for us ATM than they have been for past T1 servers and guilds. Also there is really no reason for any of the WvW guilds on JQ to transfer off, and quite honestly nowhere to go thats worth going too. JQ is in great spot still in terms of our opponents and the cooperation among guilds on the server.
Ah yes. HoD. You are right to say that a total collapse of the wvw population in a server has occurred before, you are also right to note JQ is in a great spot. If only we had a great EU guild transfer over, it would be awesome. *Redguard, /wink /wink
Ah EMP claiming DB garrison…made my week.
SG had a fun night on EB! We literally had to fight our way through RISE so we could bash some DB skulls though haha.
We spent the rest of the night keeping dirty BG’s off our friend Garry in JQ.

Some things to think about:
1) Generally speaking small armies get crushed by larger armies. Inconvenient fact of war often glossed over by movies, romantikittenerature and first person shooters.
2) The skill in small group combat is not getting caught by the larger force, ambushing reinforcements and harassing the enemy. Small groups are generally not meant to destroy large groups except under extreme circumstances.
3) People who often consider themselves to be part of the “small skilled group” fighting the “mindless zergs” in games generally can’t handle getting killed very well so they like to blame other factors for their loss rather than accepting they picked a fight they couldn’t win. It was this way in EVE and this way in WAR and it is this way in GW2.
4) I guarantee anything they do to attempt to satisfy the “my small group has difficulties beating a larger group” crowd will either make the larger group more powerful (via Law of Unintended Consequences) or will completely unbalance combat in general and drive off the masses. Once again saw this happen in several other games and I have seen nothing here that makes me believe they will fare any better.

You SBI people. Help me think of something to call you guys. Also it feels like more SBI are playing than Mag
Steel Balls Isle. They click as we run over your bodies.
Hi guys,
I hope you took the time to check the OP’s posting history and the angle of his posts in general. A couple of things:
1. I am not sure if Kefro is in SOR actually.
2. Also, his views does not reflect the views and feelings of the general populace of SOR. To be honest, I am embarrassed about the post. (not the video)
3. I pop into WvW throughout the day in NA, OCN, EU and help out in SEA. A huge majority of the guys are on the ground don’t share the kind of chest thumping Kefro is going on about.
4. In fact, the silent majority of SOR folks have friends in JQ and BG communities and have respect for them.

Watching is different from participation, you should know that preparing a gvg requires time and effort to get to form your team. Need everyone to be traited properly and geared properly. Thats where all the theory crafting comes in, some people love to experiment build synergies but this will take a lot of time to test.
For [TW] at least, we kinda just show up for the GvG’s with what we have online and skip all the technical schizzle bizzle. But that is how Indo developed TW to be.
I find that hard to believe considering Indo’s history. And when he played on JQ, he was literally JQ’s first commander pin and was considered to be one of the best strategists by the community at large back then. I call BS if you are saying you guys just “show up” for GvGs.
I don’t know about the rest of TW, but I spend 2-3 hrs in silent meditation thinking of my goals I hope to reach and how I want to fight and support my guild in the GvG.

Win or lose, I’ve found guilds that look to improve their game and seek new types of challenges are those that are most interested in GvG.
They are not mutually exclusive. Some of the best WvWers are the guilds that also do GvG.
Rarely do you find a guild that is good in GvG that sucks in WvW, but you find a lot of guilds that claim to be good in WvW but are absolutely horrible when it comes to even grounds fighting and are actually afraid of it(no clue why).
Everyone can say they’ve wiped this zerg or fought outnumbered that, but if you have the confidence in your performance you shouldn’t be afraid of GvG. If anything, look to it as another challenge.
For the guy that said egos and raging may ruin his guild , you’re guild isn’t that strong to begin with then if a simple thing as a GvG threatens its integrity or the egos of your playerbase. Trying and losing in GvG is just as important, if not more important, than winning in GvG.
Regardless, do what is fun for you but you shouldn’t knock others interest in GvG.
Oh Trahearne, the 6 paragraph long Sanctimonious Rall posts are back.
Beast mode
It’s sort of ironic watching SoR complain that their GvG’s got interrupted after FEAR did it so many times and ruined the first batch of them.
BG doesn’t know how to endure, JQ is still a solid contender though. My apologies to BG, it seems a lot of your guilds stop showing up, but how you gain guild is not how one makes a strong community. Whilst you guys say you have one, from everyone I talk to on BG your guilds seem very segregated and do their own things for the most part. We’ve never had that issue on SoR for…ages now. Yes we gained guilds, at a slow pace, but we never begged nobody to come, they came on their own accords because they enjoy how we are as a server. We don’t point fingers, even when we were losing we still came out strong everyday during our primetimes. You guys, just decided to disappear completely. I don’t know if its playing dead or not but somethings not right. You guys have the people/guilds to still be contenders in T1 yet you chose to sit and moan instead of going out and playing. SoR has been the underdog until these last few weeks. All we’ve gained is an EU guild that chose to come to us over the other two servers and a decent morale booster. Its up to you guys to motivate your guys to come out, complaining really gets you nothing. Now get out there and kittening play the game.
BG knows how to endure, it has been kicked out of tier 1 twice and twice it has come back to the top tier. It has even managed to become 3 time champions of tier 1. The only other server to be kicked out of tier 1 and has managed to make it back was Stormbluff Isle. All the other servers, Henge of Denravi, Eredon Terrace, Isle of Janthir and Sea of Sorrows have freefalled down the tiers, without ever coming back to tier 1.
Jade Quarry has never experienced what it’s like to be kicked out of tier 1, and neither has Sanctum of Rall. You should respect the resilience and resolve that Blackgate has shown, and will continue to show.
By resilience he means “wait for the next wave of guilds to transfer”
Ladies and gentlemen, show some class please. All sides included. Regardless of whatever X reason one can put in to it, I have seen plenty of players lost due to attrition. We have a multitude of reasons for individuals that are no longer around. The OP is only looking to assist to put up a proper fight. On a personal level, I would prefer to have another NA team to work with in order to “win” my timezone. We are NA servers and should play like a team that wants to win during our NA timeframe.
If asking for a team or two that is WvWcentric, then so be it. If there was chatter from a troll here or there, we all know all servers have them. Our teams are only looking to add competitiveness to the table all round. If this offends you in some manner, please take a step back and look at the situation that you have witnessed. The players here thoroughly enjoy playing against the teams out there and only want to make sure that competitive edge is on the table.

Here, let’s cut the crap before this goes like 10 pages longer. SF and Agg were testing new builds in GvG format against each other. We had done a GvG in the past vs each other and wanted to explore new builds in a smaller team format and get some field movements down. Consider it our version of workshops, only real time, both guilds are looking at different ways we view classes and builds and would like to have that self improvement. There were 15 members of SF and Agg, both our servers had an insta queue. Even when we first entered there was an outmanned buff. That being said, just even being AFK helps the map out if anything at that point to keep the buff off.
I realize that it is an open field and anyone can attack anyone, but in all the games I have played there’s always been “manners.” Anyone remember what those are in video games? The point that is being driven, is just show some integrity. As for not inviting others, SF and Agg have somehow grown close with our team leads in trolling the hell out of each other during game play. I don’t recommend this to all commanders or for the weak at heart. It’s just the FPS player coming out is all.. We were only looking to up each others games and stay competitive and quite possibly ahead of the curve.
As for PRX and SF always forming a “super zerg,” that’s a great idea, I’ll stay in contact with their GM and get this going as often as we apparently do according to that poster on this forum. I’m sure if this were for real all the time we’d see more crying.
As for the practice score Agg scored one on us
I now have video evidence of SF not knowing what to do with a new build and strat setup! Thanks Jerico for tryin’ to get something going with our lil’ cross server event. Overall score now SF 3 Agg 1.
