Continuously sending tickets won’t solve your problem any faster. :P

Did you hang a Monument Tapestry on the valor monument? You can’t dedicate any weapons until you do. And if you have, are you sure it’s on the character you’re trying to dedicate with and you aren’t being tricked by having the view set to account-wide instead of individual character (talk to Kimmes the Historian to check)?

I pretty much never post to the forums but, after two months of farming this map, my seventh run on the new boss and getting a shoulder box and no coats, I’m so frustrated and burnt out. If it was available for crests like everything else, I’d be done already. I really hope this changes to be like the others. :|

Well Logan seems to be a common reoccurring character…. Everyone else (especially Rytlock) seems to be pretty rare, I mean one of the lines Rytlock said last patch didn’t even sound like Rytlock lol

Just wanted to point out that the line where Rytlock doesn’t sound like himself was likely them forgetting the voice filter they use to deepen/distort Rytlock’s voice. Steve Blum is Rytlock’s V.O. and that line without the filter is unmistakably Blum’s normal voice.

This problem happens a great deal in the Romke’s Final Voyage PS step. Anytime the player isn’t in one of the cutscenes and just walking around, Romke’s lines no longer have the filter distorting his voice to sound “ghostly.”

I wasn’t trying to imply that ANet shouldn’t fix the bug, that we shouldn’t expect the bugs to be fixed, or you shouldn’t be able to expect to do your story with another player. I was just genuinely curious as to why someone would continue to frustrate themselves over something that other players found a work around for. One of my guild mates had this issue last night with his leveling buddy. I searched the thread you linked, saw people said to do it solo, and let my guild mate know. He reported the bug in-game and then he and his friend split up for one story before going back to playing with one another. :/

The bug has been reported several times on the forums between this thread and the one you linked earlier, and I know people who reported it in game. I’m 100% sure ANet’s aware of the issue, regardless of whether they’ve responded to THIS particular thread or not.

Navi, while it is still bugged for people trying to run it in co-op it seems to work when you enter solo. Is there a reason why you haven’t worked around the issue and just went in alone?

Having this issue trying to complete it on my asura today. Good to know I’m not the only one getting kicked to the character select screen at the beacon lighting section, because my internet connection wasn’t giving me issues anywhere else!

I’ve never reported this bug on the forum, just in game. Know that you aren’t alone in this problem.

If there are ANY overflows still doing this, I’d really appreciate an invite. I had a last minute job interview and this was the only event I couldn’t be around for.

Running around participating with the events in Southsun Cove, I noticed the adult karka are not:

1) Counting towards the Karka Slayer monthly achievement.
2) Dropping anything.
3) Rewarding xp.

It’s like they don’t exist at all.

Young karka, whether veteran or not, are counting and dropping loot correctly.

I’d like to throw in support for this, too. Haven’t had it happen to me yet, but it’s scary knowing you’re one accidental click away from spending 42k karma on an armor at a vendor you just wanted to preview…

This is really minor, but kind of funny. When doing the “Help Admiral Clarinda Demard” heart in Sparkfly Fen, you can go underwater while in the pink moa form she puts you in. You don’t really animate and you lose all your skills, including the skill to transform back into your regular self. If you get out of the water, you can change back. Considering you lose the skill to change you back, I figured this might not be intended. I had checked this against tonics and saw you at least keep your ability to transform back when you go underwater when using those.

This is happening on Isle of Janthir server right now. Has been since (at least) last night.

Do you happen to be running the TS3 overlay that lets you see ingame who is speaking? If so, turn it off. That’s what fixed the problem for me.
