Disable Hearts and Minds until it works?

I only encountered two bugs: the first was the fact that the portal thing at the end of fight disappeared after fighting shadow creatures (though it could be due to the fact that the instance owner died). After our last team member kamikazed herself we found ourselves doing the beginning and end of the fight at the same time (e.g. we had to fight our illusionary companions again while Modremoth was dying).
Before the gate gets blown open just kill the risen that appear in your path and let the NPC’s handle the rest. After blowing the gate you do have clear the courtyard of enemies but I’ve never had difficulty with it. The final part though, either let the NPC’s take care of final boss and you focus on the mobs that spawn or switch to long distance fighting. If you do melee on boss you will die within seconds.
I actually found out recently that my current laptop falls drastically short of fulfilling the minimum requirements regarding the graphics card. Didn’t realize this since it was a hand-me-down and newer than my previous laptop.
As for Internet connection I know that it’s not a problem due to doing a speed test a month back after fixing my Internet router and keeping my laptop hooked via Ethernet.
This game is my guilty pleasure and when I go to visit relative for a week or so, I usually like to play this after dinner. That means I need a laptop.
The last laptop that I had that was able to run GW 2 (with minimal if any lag) was a lenovo ThinkPad W500. and the closes I can seem to find in terms of specs are these two:

Then again getting one of them might produce the same results as my current one.

Trying to make a legendary. However I need a lot of ectos. So if anyone has any spare ectos that would be nice.
I think the helmet is tier three though. Hard to tell since tier 2 and 3 helmets do look similar.
I’m currently looking into new laptops and I want to make sure that the laptop I get can run Guild Wars 2 with as little lag as possible. I’d prefer zero lag but I’d rather get a laptop that is closer to the $300 mark ($500 being the max I’m willing to spend).
I’m thinking about one of these:

But I’m not sure if either are a good choice or not. I mainly play PvE and only ever do WvWvW when doing a daily.

I’m part of a still active guild in HoD. In fact, all of our active members are part of that server. Right now we are trying to recruit more people into our guild so that we have enough not to worry about dungeons. I’m on every Saturday so you can message me then. We have another member who is on a couple of times a week and another returning from a long hiatus.
I happen to be the sic of a small but friendly guild. The leader and I are hoping to have enough active ppl in our group so that we can help each other with dungeons. I’m on every Saturday if you want to send me a message.
I’m the sic of a small guild with 3 active members, all of us with some lvl 80 characters. We are very friendly and I’m active every Saturday. If you are interested feel free to send me a message.
I’m hoping to find my old alliance friends from GW 1 in GW 2. I used to be part of a guild called Tyrian Mercenaries (TyMe). I wanted to keep in touch with on GW 2, but real life and studies got in the way so I was unable to play GW 1 for atleast a year prior to the release of GW 2.
If it helps I used to play the character Magister Ludi on GW 1 and now have a character with a similar name (Magester Ludi).
