I am disgusted that nothing has been done to address this very serious issue, charged loadstones are nearly 5 gold each on my server!! Meanwhile every single other loadstone is 1 gold or cheaper!!

Why has nothing been done to fix this?! It wont be long before they reach 10 gold each!

They need to make the farming locations in Orr always available.
PLUS add in two new farming areas one in Frostgorge Sound and the other in Southsun Cove.
PLUS increase the drop rate of them in FotM.

It is deeply disturbing that this has been left to go so extremely out of control, something must bee done to fix this now.

The trading post is cross-server. Lodestone prices are the same for every server. I think the highest price charged lodestones reached was around 4g50s. Crystal and glacial lodestones are the only ones that are 1g and cheaper. Onyx may soon reach the same price as charged.

Other than that, I agree that there should be more methods to acquire lodestones.

I did it with my guildies. I found the last tree hiding against a wall, and all 5 of us got the achievement.

I play classes of all 3 armor types, so I would really like the old feature back. It would be a pain to switch characters just to preview something.

I spent around 2 hours in Cursed Shore after the last update, and I noticed that I got a lot of mats too. Besides that, I still get a ton of porous bones and white equips.

I wonder if they did fix anything. I logged on to my noob ele after the update, and I found 2 rares after 20 min with no MF. These are the first rares I have found on this character. I’ll do Cursed Shore events later on my main to see how it goes.

Dungeons require concentration and a certain block of time, but I don’t have time for that because I tend to go afk a lot. Doing Cursed Shore events is the easiest way for me to make money, because they only take a few minutes, and I can do other things during the downtime. I only heard about the Arah farming yesterday, so I missed out on that… If they can hotfix it that quickly, maybe we’ll hear word about the drop rate soon?

I got the Personal Black Lion Trader Express like 2 weeks ago after randomly opening 1 chest. I wasn’t even trying to get it. I have almost 100 chests sitting in my bank, and I got 1 key from completing a zone… and I got a permanent trading post dude!

I noticed a change in drop rate as well after the patch. Before the patch, I used to find a couple rares an hour, but now there’s no certainty that even 1 rare would drop an hour. I only find a ton of blues, whites, and porous bones. Now I’m trying to find other methods to making money.

I just salvaged 12 ectos from 10 rares which isn’t bad, and I usually have dreadful luck. It’s hard to make any conclusions.

Yep, I farmed Cursed Shore for 5 hours on Friday, and I ended up with only 1 rare compared to the 2-5 rares I used to find an hour with less than 100% MF. Veteran and champion drops were poo. We’re better off repeating FotM over and over again now.

Ugh, i got it done three times, but no precursor for me, hate that some people even got MORE THAN ONE! I just want my chosen, but he got more than enough to sell those and buy the chosen and have a ton of money left over to put a dent in crafting that legendary. I am so sick to my stomach, RNG rewards really needs to go away in all games imo. Work towards things with marks or something. Ugh…

Umm… shouldn’t you just be glad you got to loot the chest 3 times? I, among others, spent hours in different overflows, and I didn’t even get a chest once.

I also feel like the drop rate got worse. Before the patch, I used to get 2-5 rares an hour farming at Cursed Shore. I did Cursed Shore events for about 5 hours today (spread out through the day just in case of DR), and only 1 rare dropped for me. I got nothing special from veterans or champions. I’m trying to save up for Tier 3 armor, and this is tough!

My first level 80 was a ranger, but I switched to guardian. My guardian can take down 5+ mobs in a few seconds no problem, but my ranger’s damage just can’t compare. I like the guardians’ flashy animations while the rangers’ are kind of boring (greatsword and sword are cool though). The majority of heavy armor looks awesome while only a few pieces of medium armor look good. I’m looking forward to the update though. Hopefully it will make me spend more time on my ranger again!
