Hi all im having a problem logging in as per the picture below i have contacted support they had me run trough game adviser etc and told me if could be something to do with anti virus or router blocking the game since then i have tried everything i can think of

Flushed my ip address pinged my router, logged into my router gave my computer a new ip address uninstalled all anti virus and spyware except for windows defender which i cant remove seem it has to stay on your computer thanks Microsoft, ive logged into my router and checked that GW2 is not blocked in there and the port is open.

Game is needing an update not sure if its that and the only thing i have not done is make a free account and tried to log in on that.

i thought i would ask again here before i contact support again in response to my ticket or try making another account to see if that works does anyone have any ideas have you had this problem before and if so how might it be fixed?

Hi all so when raids came out i was casually running them with my guild I’m in now and some friends never got mad hardcore into it but now i want to raid more so am looking for a guild that raids and teaches the tactics the guild I’m in at the moment they raid and teach tactics and i have learned allot about diffrent bosses and its my main guild but they are more casual I would like to get more hardcore into it and learn tactics

I have multiple characters but main for raids is druid viper/healing gear i have have both i also have a CHRONO/ELE/PS/DH ready for raids just need experience on playing them

I have 3LI again i was never hardcore if anyone knows of or has a guild for raiding and looking for new members also i learn very fast on tactics let me know would love to join on some raids and have some fun with this content.

With this build your pet tanks taking most damage and gaining regen, you also gain regen when you use your pets shout ability F2, you also gain stacks of might fury when you dodge roll in combat and also when you swap pets in combat anyways hope you enjoy

Ok so I see everyone loves the new raids and loves grouping but why the hell are you spamming map chat all I all day is LFG this that LFG this that LF member blah blah map chat is fully spammed with this crap all day so I present to you the look for group tab

Would you believe there is such a tab yeah and its been in there the whole time wow I wonder what it does yup you guessed it it’s where people look for groups pretty neat huh

On your chat bar make a new tab name it group chat or something that lets you know you should not spam map chat chat then from there click the box that says look for group it really is an awesome feature.

The point to this post is stop spamming map chat like kids and spamming people out of it have some respect for people in the game who use map chat to post requests for help and also for way ponts and events.

Use the LFG channel that’s what it is there for right ) And before you say why don’t you just disable map chat I will answer why should I have too, and why should i have to miss out on events and also on WP because people decide to spam there LFG requests in open chat

Right so seeing as I got so many people thinking I can’t play the game and that I should have better gear for end game content I decided to go and buy some updated gear and to get my stuff really up to date for end game still did not make a bit of difference sure I can survive a bit more and kill some stuff in maguma but still I die in most places walking around and die hard.

Tried out my gear first last night in some dungeons played COF, TA, and even some WB to test the PvE aspect of the build I’m running and it worked fine no problems.

So decided to give Maguma another try see if it really was me so was walking around last night just killing some people to get XP and I happen to stumble upon this bridge and all of a sudden a vet mushroom king came running at me blasted poison before I had time to dodge I got half my health down, at this time he was joined with his little friends who charged at me and downed me I died hard, had to go all the way back to the waypoint, on my exit again night falls start to run out try do some content again for xp all of a sudden 4-8 raptors get me down me try dodge they down me so are the mobs too Op yes they are way to OP in areas you get little to no XP for killing them mastery takes so long to train and get xp due to the lack of it you get you would want to be spending up to 7-8 hours a day grinding in my mind is HOT worth it no its not and maybe that’s for me but that’s me and my opinion.

Your all saying that HOT is easy maybe it is for you maybe you got the best gear better than anything anyone else has your part of a big guild or have many friends you run it with and to do event trains, most people don’t and I don’t so for those of us trying to solo its hard but yeah below is my gear make of it what you will I’m not throwing money into ascended or legendary as I don’t need that for main Tyria content which is where I base most of my game.

Just because you don’t have something, or are unwilling to work toward it is no justification for nerfing content that is meant to provide a challenge.

I’m hardly nerfing it you really think ArenaNet are going to change anything in the game for what I say I’m just speaking my mind like most also I’ve worked for everything I have and for the characters I have never used tomes boosts nothing all hard grind 100% its hard work in maguma granted but would be more enjoyable for more rewards better xp faster masteries.

Also when you say gear properly I’m presuming your running full zerk gear ascended weapons with all masteries fully completed or at least a mastery rank of above 50 have all your elite spec compleated and spend tons of gold on items which would make you think Maguma is not challenging and easy for you.

I will go back to core Tyria and continue doing as i was doing HOT can sit as it is

I can run dungeons, fractals, PvE world bosses, WvW hold my own and enjoy the aspect of the game soon as I go to maguma I get mobbed and killed.

Here is an example ok walking along got attacked by a mushroom started to kill him then 3 more came then a vet mushroom, dodged back and was met with mordrem and also Beatles no matter how good you are or anything there is no way you can solo them

Its not as much about the combat my post is not directed towards that its more directed towards how hard the mobs are for the little xp you get its not worth the grind and its not nice to have to grind trough masteries to get to your next story its not a enjoyable experience at all with how difficult it is.

I know those who find the Maguma easy are those who either have full zerk gear and ascended weapons trinkets etc etc with very high stats, or those who saved their tomes boosted to level 80 got tons and tons of points to train specs then had allot left over to train there elite spec to full dragon hunter etc etc which added allot of abilities other players still grinding don’t have.

So got HOT the other day and I’m sick with the game play i really hate it its the worst, and i find myself going to other games now and just not playing

Maguma is all team based nothing solo all team based join a team maybe survive don’t join a team and you die.

Maguma is so OP you have mordrem snipers who can take out a whole team with one shot you might as well be canon fodder, then you have mushroom kings and vets they explode poison and again can take out a whole team in one go, giant beetles small beetles, pocket raptors huge monsters way to many Op bosses and monsters and stuff for anyone to solo.

Bosses respawn too fast you manage to kill some monsters and you turn around and there back again and before you know it you are swarmed and mobbed yet again the.

The mastery system is awesome the way it is designed to work is awesome but the xp is way too much first mastery is pretty easy next mastery is 1 mill+ xp you get very little xp for any events you do i mean 11k xp when your training mastery that needs 1mill + xp is nothing and bearly adds anything to the xp bar its more of a grind you have to grind grind grind there for its no fun.

You have to learn mastery to continue with your story again the rewards and too little for the grinding you have to do, am i the only one who genuinely feels that HOT content is really annoying and bad and over powered in maguma I for one don’t have time to spend 10-15 hours a day grinding for xp.

Every character I have I have done the hard way to get to 80 done the story lines so I’m not new to having to work for what you want but I thought it might be a bit easier and better and a better experience, for me I just think the way the xp is laid out for the amount of grinding you have to do is not worth it.

I thought the first expansion would be a bit better and more aimed towards the community and not such a bore to play needless to say I’m very disappointed.

Hi all I will be getting HOT soon and will be taking the druid elite specialization for ranger my armor is based on zerk stats ill have to change this all up for druid? to healing power vitality etc ? and if so does anyone have a good druid build for dungeons/raids or will this work as is with the druid as it’s pretty OP with healing as is

hey all as the post title suggests I’m looking for a good PVE ranger build using longbow for DPS looking to do dungeons also.

I’m thinking the 3 main stats I need would be pwr, pre, crit but I’ve no clue what runes I would need or armor etc I’m really want to go full zerk am I right in thinking that’s all exotic/ascended gear with power, pre, crit?

If someone could link me to a walk trough guide to setting up a Ranger PVE/Dungeon DPS guide that’s greatly appreciated

hi all so after looking online at builds I decided to try make my own build based on PVE and for dungeons, to be able to do some damage and also regen heal myself, again I’m a noob at builds so please any comments helps.

I’m using along with regular skills for longbow axe/warhorn
Water spirit, search and rescue, guard, protect me using these shouts and the water spirit and protect gives me 12 seconds regen which stacks every second so about a minute of regens to health, also with my pets regenerate howl this helps.

For my main traits I have picked the following below in the pictures.
I have not setup my armor yet only have the Pve armor I had when I hit lv 80 and done

my armor over a year ago which is below all with Dolyak runes each armor piece so maybe need to update my runes for the build

Hi all first of all thanks fo reading my post i do hope I’m making sense here, I had left guild wars for about a year due to RL and recently returned to see the new updates and the ranger got nerfed so hard my ranger is level 80.

I want to start my ranger using Pvp/Wvw so I’m looking for a good build greatsword/axe warhorn that will do both this is where I get confused as what to use condi/ damage/power/ etc I know ranged should maybe have more power not sure if I’m right.

Does anyone have any up to date guide on ranger builds one that would help me with PvP Wvw and allow me to get the sigals and stuff to go with the build

Hi all so i recently came back to playing GW2 after a year absence since then had formatted my computer so had to re-download GW2.

So was downloading it and it’s got to about 115945 and keep throwing up the below error in the picture I’ve tried repair same thing any ideas?

I can play it now as is as there is enough downloaded just can’t play and fractals or wvw (
