Guild Wars 2

Getting ping spikes here as well, on 2 different internet connections (one at home and the other is a student campus internet connection). They first started appearing 2 days ago and the weirdest part is the first time it happened my ping stayed at 1007ms (not avg ping, but the current value) for 5+ minutes until I decided to call it a day. It mostly starts spiking heavily when I see enemy players in WvW, sometimes the spikes happen even in spawn but generally it “only” spikes to around 600-700ms. Had them for 2 days straight now so WvW is mostly unplayable for me right now. I don’t remember this happening before but I’ve been having these spikes after the latest update.

I’m actually pretty sure now that I’ve played the game for 30+ minutes before crashing while fighting the Shatterer that the crashes are indeed related and happen when a bigger number of people gather just like Mezh above said. Now to wait for Anet to figure out what’s causing the crash and fix it

Just wanna chime in and say our South squad members in AB all had crashes in a matter of seconds after getting back into the game. My crashes mostly happened the moment I attacked the vines when they became targetable (4 or 5 crashes happened because of that).

Making this topic so people (and hopefully Anet) learn about what’s happening on the Chinese server, which could very well happen to us too if it’s not already. So basically the only thing I know is someone managed to hack the game BIG TIME and runs around in PVP full time invisible and almost insta-kills everyone he meets. It’s been happening for quite a long time now and nothing has been done to prevent this (apparently someone else is in charge of things in China and not Anet). A Chinese player uploaded a video on youtube for people to see what exactly has been happening. Since I’m not sure whether I’m allowed to post links of other sites or not I’ll just write down the name of the video -> “Guild War2 The Hacker on GW2 China Server”. So yeah, please spread the word and hopefully Anet will see this and try and help them out in China and prevent this from happening on our servers.

Mad King’s Outfit missing

Went in with 4 people and made it to the 6th round I believe. Toxx or whatever that boss is spawned for the 3rd time so it was probably the 6th round. Seconds after he spawned we got ported back to Lion’s Arch. All 4 of us. Anyone know what happened ?
