I completely agree. I love the way the achievement points reward Zenith and Vambrace skins work. Why can’t the other achievement skins work that way? For that matter, why can’t the costumes and other items you buy in the gem store work that way? Back in GW1 they had festival hat and costume npcs so once you acquired a costume or festival reward it could be shared between all of the characters on your account without limit. Everything now is $10 per costume/item and it can only be used one time and on one character at a time. I would be more interested in buying some of the items in the store if I could use them on multiple characters at the same time.
I completely agree with this thread and all of the commenters. I would definitely buy more skins from the gem store if I could store them somehow in a way that would be interchangeable with all of the characters on my account (such as they were in GW1). I would also love to see festival rewards, such as the shatterer wings, treated likewise as a skin that could be stored and accessed by all characters simultaneously.
I completely agree. I find it disappointing that when I buy an appearance based item from the gem store I have to pick which one of my characters will get to use it. The same goes with the Shatterer wings reward from the Dragon Bash. In GW1 there were festival hat and costume npcs that enabled you to get the purchased item or festival reward for each of your characters. For festival items in GW2 you’re just out of luck – can’t get more than one. And with costume items, it’s too much of a pain to keep things in storage so you can swap between characters, and buying the same thing for ten different characters is just too expensive. I’d honestly be more interested in buying more items if I could then choose to duplicate the item onto additional characters. The gem store has become too costly for accessorizing multiple characters and the only-one-festival-reward accessory is unfortunate.
