just kind of annoying having to sort through open world content for raids, or vice versa sifting through LFR to find open world content. at the very least raids seem deserving of its own section anyway.

I hate the expac as much as the next guy, but guild halls aren’t that hard to get, we managed to 5 man gilded hollow. if your having trouble keep in mind the more players you have the harder it will be. if im not mistaken here more then 10 will make 2 maws spawn so if you keep your numbers 10 or below youll have a fairly easy time.

I got my revs herald spec a bit past 50% and now im ditching HoT maps in favor of core maps to finish my elite spec, words cant express the relief and ease of being able to find and claim hero points here without needing a mastery or some challenge needing a group….. I think…. I think im gounna cry… we can make it out my friends…. we can make it out…..

now do it 8 more times and youll see what all the fuss is about.

anyone else feeling my pain here? I made a rev at launch, and am just now getting into the herald line with much more to go from there. im thinking when I hit the 200 mark HP wise in maguuma ill head back to older content and just grind another 200 there instead.

I know how you feel, as I said in another post, instead of gating elites behind masteries, elites should have been a mastery themselves to be unlocked within tyria or the jungle.

You guys are the reason they dumbed down the new player experience. There is a scout right at the start. Mousing over icons tell you what they are. The Masteries have a nice little tutorial, the characters in the story even explain stuff to you. I mean, I feel like you guys aren’t even trying. ; P

There’s only 1 person here who complained about it being confusing.

The pacing is way too slow for me. It takes hours just to get 1 mastery doing the same events over and over again.

It is a hassle to get anywhere, and you have to spend quite a bit of time just to figure out if it requires a mastery you don’t have yet.

this, I don’t know how many times a mastery has been labled as “below” so I go gliding down looking for it just to discover an updraft and no way back up so I have to suicide and wp way way back only to return later to make sure I didn’t miss anything else.

A scout would be a bit much, but if they color coated the “gated” masteries vs the easily accessed ones I wouldn’t mind that a bit.

some of it is because its gated, not everone is on the same level. so for some things you either have tons of people ahead of or behind you.

there are bits where it ramps back up for me, then a severe low as I grind through it all just to go back a map or two to just grab hero points. if things weren’t gated, (or if we could grind it elsewhere then just the jungle) I don’t think it would be to bad.

on that thought, elite specs, why on earth didn’t they just make elite specs a mastery (aren’t we mastering our classes?) then we could dump xp into it whenever we felt like and just level it naturally from there instead of using gated content.

grind walls aside, anyone else enjoying the story?, im not to far in yet, without spoiling anything ill say ive seen the city and rather like the direction they are taking on it.

now excuse me while I grind 2-3 hours for my glider updraft * keels over *

I cant believe people are defending this repetitive grind, in a game that advertised that it has no grind. so far its been boring, a chore and quite simply frustrating, as I cant even progress my story without having to go back and do event chains ive already done 10 times. let alone the elite spec rip off, yes I said it it feels like ive been ripped off.

I highly disagree with the gemstore suggestion. a lot of us basicly gave them 60$ (or in my case 100$) for these elite specs, with little to no intrest in PvE. what they need to do is make it like any other traitline, and leave the cosmetics on the backend to be gained as prestiege items. wich im hoping is the case.

Seems like they could introduce some kind of verification process, as the only gold seller here is anet themselves, I don’t mind waiting a week as gold is just that. however to know im restricted against receiving anything for 2 weeks now has me a bit aggravated. or perhaps a small pop up that says “you will be capped if you accept this ect”.

apparently were capped at 500g, on a weekly basis, I found this out by my girlfriend mailing me 500g in 2 increments for my birthday, of my years of playing I had never knew this. so not only am I capped for this week, when I accept the 2nd mail im going to be capped for a 2nd week. now I can understand why they would do this. but it still feels a bit extreme.

ive played since launch so im not a free player, and ive also bought heart of thorns. so apparently all of us have this restriction.

people can already do this, they can tag once for a stack and tele off and tag another, all the while gaining fast stacks then go afk somewhere till it times out.

another solution would be to just give players 5 blooms per event completed so they don’t have to worry about staying a full 30 mins or losing buffs due to dc’s or crashes.

its not only that, while I agree they were neck deep in an expansion, its pretty much finished by now, and the first bit of new content we have gotten in ages simply does not work. while the anger is not being directed the right way. I can most definitely see where its coming from.

great idea, a mist type dodge would be amazing.

shiro is supposed to be a jerk though, one of the biggest kittens if gw1. he kills you. he kills togo (if I remember right) and has a witty smart kitten line everytime he does something evil. if anything id prefer they remove the bromance and add in witty harassing one liners when randomly killing someone/thing.

they seem to listen to fans, try starting a petition so the want is fully noticed. maybe if enough people band together they will release it early.

wait until shiro is revealed, fanboys will be screaming in joy (including myself) and it will likely be the high dps power line were all waiting for.

I don’t know for sure if it will be the same for HOT. But for GW2 it was usually beta weekends, with a few days of (6 hour stress tests?) sprinkled in the mix.

nothing yet, they will probably post something on the site or send emails on the eta, im guessing it will be like gw2 weekend betas.

I would love to see it happen, though I doubt it would be anytime soon. if it was in this expansion they would have announced it by now.

considering how much I lag and crash during massive open world content it makes it pretty darn challenging.

Hello, i was wondering if anyone could give me any insight to this,

i tried logging in repeatedly and it said i was logging in from an unknown I.P. adress
so i thought what everone else would “omg ive been hacked”.

and in my email it said somone tried to log into my account from california, so i thought for sure i had been hacked.

so i started the process of the “ive been hacked process” and to my amazement 2 more emails showed up as i tried logging in, i thought this couldnt be as i live in kentucky.

Well i went ahead and gave this new I.P. access and i was able to log in and seen my account had been untouched.

If any smart tech guys can explian this to me or tell me if i need to change my password i would be grateful.
