Hello everyone.
Since almost everyone is disappointed at Firebrand new Guardian elite spec, due to the preferences of some players asking to be more dps, condition dmg, support, healer, wouldn’t be more easy for deves to give a trait to this class that allows us to chose it? For example:
top trait would give you + healing power while wielding shield
Mid trait would give you + condition dmg while wielding torch
Lower trait allows you to wield axe off hand making you dual wield and increase power or crit.
It does not need to be this weapons.
This is a good solution and making this spec more versatile and giving you a chance to follow and play as you want with it. I belive guardian as enough healing and support builds, if they don’t work, giving a new spec is not a solution, because we will be playing with something we already have, if our healing and support builds are weak, they need a rework and a solution.
Giving players the expectation of a new elite spec like fire brand and in the end working it as an hybrid of condition dmg and support it will take the guardian down again. Give the players the opportunity to pik and fight as they want instead of forcing a way to play, dragon hunter was good at the start with the bow, nowdays you don’t see many players doing it because it’s just bad.
Make it viable to play please, do not give us something we already have . We want something new, the dual wield axe or giving a chance to change weapon combinations in exange for buffs while wielding them would be nice.

I’m sorry for posting 1 more topic about a good guardian build DPS but I’m ubsartain after reading so many variations , right now I’m full ascendant gear weapons and accessories,
Armor- knight – rune of strength for might
Weapons- zerker
Accessories – zerker
Should I run full zerker gear ?
What build and weapons should I go for raids?
Dragon hunter it’s pretty weak wherever people say it’s good in my experience it is not. Too long cooldowns and bow skills are low dmg and slow it’s a waste of dps.
Right know I’m using torch, septer and greatsword.
And I keep Beeing behind. Any suggestion?
Is the class a little unstable for now or I’m going into ways that is making things not working properly?

The problem on this weapon os that is not VIABLE to survive or use it as a potencial competitive raid dps weapon.
For normal world PvE it’s “OK” . But in PvP all skills are easly dodged or interrupted.
On raid if you use it then your guild members are going to think you are there for the “lols” even gravedigger PvE and pvp is not that skill you can master , it has a cast time that can be dodged or interrupted, in PvE can also be a death time progress for your dps.
It should be instant cast and it’s current cast time should pass to its coldown time , Gives more stability, there can be undreeds of opinions, but you can always give diferent mechanisms on reaper traits i will say this again: reaper could get Buffs to dmg, crits or attak speed , toughness, as your life force increase, something like that.
Something simple as that. There must be a way to Turn this class into what it os sopose to be, a reaper.

Hello, fellas.
After playing with reaper, i really enjoy the class idea playstyle but as everybody knows it’s beeing a long way to place this class with a GS build on real use.
Feels like we obligated to follow a certain build talents to be competitive in raids or rank PvP, and those builds GS is out of question.
When it came up i was with really hight expectations but after a while and due to some changes Over time the GS build is not competitive at all.
As a player i would sugest to give a Boost on the class, like increase Dmg and toughness, they could increase as our life force is full. Like warrior adrenaline something like that.
Even gravedigger has a cast time that is easly interrupted in PvP or dodged. You could simply make it instant cast with a 1 sec coldown instead of 1 sec cast and no coldown when target HP is 50% or lower.
Or maybe i’m doing something wrong
any sugestions fellas? Cause i like the great sword implant on this class. Is so cool but os way to weak

Will this new patch bring reworks on class? Or only skills dmg and coldowns reworks? The Patch is coming and PPL dont know What is comming out and lately the Patch notes brought bad news.
Is there anywhere we can see any ptr notes or something? Because i dont know if it’s possible. We always know What it’s coming 2/3 days before release and some of the incoming changes makes no sence for what player sugest, and some opinions should be look upon.
Many of the PPL here gave you nice sugestions how to make every class more more viable ( not overpower but VIABLE). Every Patch coming feels like we beeing forced to follow a specific build to be competitive with the PvP and PvE game. I know it’s hard to complement both , but we cant see the progress that classes are taking and give some feedback before the Patch hits in?

You right. The other classes need to be fixed and guardian be on it’s place. But sometimes guardian feels like … Dont know the correct word but, easly readable . and yes i place my traps and try to lure enemies to it, and place them before fight starts . but yes maybe there are other classes that might need prio fixes beside guardians. I like this like the most but when i go PvP some classes just destroy everything . it’s wierd how this came to this stage .
Hello. I read your post and i agree. The Solution that i see that can solve this is to separate the dmg done in WvW to the battlegrounds and arenas.
I always loved guild wars for the limited build skill and diversity that each profission can provide. I Love the combos that we can do with them. Unffortunatly, guardian is a bit restricted in my point of view. Feels like we are forced to follow a certain build to be a sustainted class in PvP. Right now guardian with the 20% dmg nerf should have true shot instant cast to provide mobility .
pvp is not PvE, players can predict other people actions and defend against some skills and avoid the dmg. And true shot is WAY too easy
first we need to stay on the place to cast the skill
second, it’s so predictable and every One dodges or blocks it. It’s a skill that easly avoided because people can read it.
We need a fix on the class. Also guardian is the class that i Love the most . but even now on PvE seems a bit hard to do it alone. It’s not i want the game easy but, compared to other alternative classes i have , guardian just miss something.
