So in WVW and get attacked. Hit tab to target…..does it target the guy attacking me? Nope it targets the deadly white rabbit sitting on the side of the road. Dam click click, try to target again…..now I have targeted the yellow doe eating some grass… click click dead.

Bad enough to have these things in the game but to make them the first thing select as an “enemy” is the dumbest thing ever. Bravo Anet.

Funny thing about SOR. Two weeks ago it had an easy match-up and you had to wait like an hour to get into WVW. Last week it was back to fighting Blackgate and JQ and SOR losing and you could get into WVW no wait anytime. This week another easy match….and the hourly queue is back.

SOR sure does like to beat up on the little guy and when a fair fight shows up, they run home…..

SOR getting destroyed for the 11th straight week. Thank ANET for this stupid scoring system that keeps you in T1. TC is winning its match already by over 6k and yet somehow they are losing 24 points. Only thing keeping you from T2 SOR. Back to hiding in your towers…..

Whether you like it or not, we’re staying. Trust me, SoR would bring a better fight compared to TC. Not necessarily skill wise, but certainly coverage wise. Btw, what’s your definition of destroy? The score for the past 11 weeks have been quite close, imo.

Keep it up SOR, T2 is getting closer and closer. Just need TC to move up. Maybe you can compete in T2.

The score is no surprise as SOR doesn’t even try to win anymore. That is not to take away what BG and JQ are doing. SOR two biggest guilds don’t even try to win. They 1) Run around doing a Karma train not defending anything.
2) Try to setup Guild vs. Guild matches while we lose everything.

One of the commanders even said the other day, I don’t care about the score, I am here for the fights. Enjoy your fights in T2 .

I’m confused. Blackgate is often listed as a full server, and Sanctum of Rall seldom is. The other night we had one of our borderlands outmanned at NA primetime. I think that there is enough evidence that Blackgate has a larger WvW population.

SOR was in first place for weeks. It’s been 2 weeks since they haven’t been in first and for weeks now they have been recruiting many guilds [KISS], [SONG], [WARD], [ACO] being the most noticeable. They have recruited more guilds than their opponents. JQ gained [PRO] but lost a couple more and BG gained [TKG].

It is really hard to believe that a server that was winning for so many weeks in a row and then recruit so many guilds can now have such difficulty fielding players. Either your player base is demoralized and you’re bleeding more players than you can bring in which a previous poster said is not possible as SOR never gets demoralized, or you’re tanking in an effort to get even more guilds to join you.

Really? Here it is 3 pm (est) on a Sat and SOR is outmanned in EB right now. Maybe like 10 people on. Not sure where all these new guilds are. Also these new guilds could care less if SOR wins, they all run around looking either for karma or gvg fights. There is no communication in SOR at all. Nothing new. A server peaks and then falls. Happens over and over in GW2. BG is peaking now so, guess what’s coming next….

So the new guilds that joined, they want the same thing as the ones that have been here? Could care less about ppt and just want fights……so what’s the problem? and the fact that you think BG is just now peaking is funny.

Yea I get the point you don’t seem too. A lot of people want to win. But since a lot of you don’t, those people stop playing. That leaves SOR with LESS people in WVW overall, leaving just the guys who care less about winning left…..hence why SOR is outmanned and losing now. Get it?

Winning is not the only thing that gets people to keep playing a game. If you could care less about ppt and more about the reason to be playing this game which is Large scale fights against others. Not pvd00r your way to glory. Come fight open field, I can almost bet that if a group of players wins that fight you get a better satisfaction then taking a keep and upgrading it to t3 and saying thats how you beat another server. YAH DUDE t3! \o/.

I didn’t say winning is the only thing that keeps people playing a game. I said there are some people who do care about winning. That is the main objective of WVW, if not why do they keep scores at all?

You can play it anyway you want. All I said is the people who want to win are going to stop playing when they see that all the guilds are running around in a Karma train or looking for gvg fights. (that in itself is funny how World vs. World has become Guild vs. Guild but that’s a different story).

Maybe these boards work on a time delay. For almost 3 weeks now I have no trouble getting into WVW on SOR. Even on the reset this week I only had a queue for about 30 mins which is pretty low for a T1 Server. Maybe all the kids are on summer vacation but I certainly am not seeing a huge wvw presence on SOR lately.

Hour plus queue and still wating on SOR. Guess its serious this week, last week it was undermanned the whole week-end.

SOR doesn’t belong on the same battlefield with JQ or BG. My god better hope they get a tier 4 server again next week. At least this week they have been getting ALOT of practice in running away. They should be in good shape by the end of the week. RETREAT RETREAT!!!!

I have a feeling you just now peeked your head into WvW since you obviously have no idea what you’re talking about, especially the last few hours of this match. This entire week, the larger guilds have been hammering FABL, FA in EB, and push everyone out in TCBL. The entire week I’ve been playing, I’ve personally only stepped foot into SoSBL once to start Tower Winner in spawn and harass a few camps for fun. If you’re complaining about being hammered by the zerg in EB because their bored and want to flip easy towers for Wxp, then maybe WvW isn’t for you.

It’s not about demolishing the underdog near the end, it’s just about our EB crew trying to find what fun they can. If FA is gonna turtle in their keeps/tower, they just gonna go somewhere else to find fun lol.

So again, that tells me all I need to know about your server. Your idea of fun isn’t a challenge its easy mode. well…it is no fun to breach walls in an FA tower and have them just stay in there for hours on end with AC’s raining down on you lol. and FYI..while we were taking ur stuff, we were also taking FA’s stuff to lol. On a friday before reset it’s not about a “challenge” it’s about takign stuff for fun, getting wexp, and just runnin around, not screwin around with a fully sieged up turtled tower that really does nothing lol. I’ve watched SoS do the same to TC, and FA to the same to everyone as well…it’s called playing the game lol. The sad part is so much of TC has massive respect for SoS because of how well you’ve competed this week against 2 much bigger servers, and, like pple from db did, a few little hating trolls like you come on the forum and attempt to kill that. Just be happy your server has gained massive respect from the entire WvW community and that you’ll be jumping up a couple of ranks for doing well against us, instead of griefing that we’re “picking” on you. I can promise, nearly every TC commander will always pick on FA first, then go to SoS because of our servers rivalry.

Mikal, just so u knw TC is a full server. They have large WvW population. When they are bending your bls over they are bending ours(fa bls over). The difference is FA has more ppl on the map able to hold/defend more than SoS. It may seem TC is only hitting your map with 60 ppl but if you come to FA bls you will see another grp of 60+ doing their thing. In the end its a numbers game. Who ever has the most will win. TC can prolly get qued maps during NA primetime. SOS feels the burn more because you just dont havet he numbers to compete. the fact tht FA is at 208k and SOS is at 154k says alot about ur server. Be proud of what SOS did this week. I think it proves SOS is prolly a top contender for t3.

Look I am not talking about what happened during the week or even on other maps. I was referring only to what was going on the last few hours in EB. The match is over, TC won. Rather then show alittle class and sportsmanship and not kick a server when its down, they try and push us out of EB entirely as the match winds down. I have been on large servers with big leads in the past and we always took the foot of the pedal when the match was over. I could see if we had a force and were pushing them put we are undermanned and really just trying to hang on.

They obviously can do whatever they want but I can also come out and voice my view on the forums. I don’t respect a server that keeps kicking a server once its over

What queues are you talking about?? SOS EB was outmanned status for all but like 2 hours yesterday and has been in outmanned status today for the same thing. The other maps have no green on them so I doubt your getting queues on them.

Very impressive by TC and FA right now. SOS has 5 people in EB so what do TC and FA do? They each attack SOS and take towers that are undefended rather then fight each other. So much for how these mighty titans like a good fair fight. They avoid each other like the plague beating up on a severly undermanned server. Welcome to the new WVW ghosttown.

Logged on and SOS EB is not only in outmanned status but there are literally like 5 people on for well over an hour until the game went down for the update. I love how everyone on here LOVES it, yet WVW is becoming a ghost town.

Its funny that reality and what is said on the forums are two different things. All the people from SOS saying this is fun where are you in the actual game? When was the last time that SOS EB was in outmanned status for the full Sunday (outside a few hours this morning)?

All this is doing is driving people away and if your response is good we don’t want those people anyway, enjoy the rest of the week fighting two tier 2 servers in outmanned status 24/7.

Finally downloaded the patch but now i just get stuck at the lion’s arch load in screen forever then it times out, saying disconnected from server. Tried several times and keeps happening.

Anyone else having an issue getting back into the game?
