I don’t even understand why it’s there to begin with you already have a very easely noticable buff on your bar to indicate you’re in beastmode (bright blue).
At this point all it does is make me not want to play soulbeast.
The herald aura, ugly as it is, doesn’t accualy obstruct anything.
I’d prefer if the aura dissapeared as well, you already have the buffs to indicate we entered beastmode, not to mention the missing pet but i doubt that’ll happen
The aura you get in beastmode is far too big especially concidering the game is already cluttered with visual noise. At the very least please make it disperse slightly after a few seconds.
even worse (at least for me) is that the aura doesn’t look centered on most races once you enter combat mode.

This topic has been discussed countless times before, just look up one of the old threads for why it’s a bad idea
the jagged horrors were for a while what made our dps viable in raids and required a druid to heal them (teamwork yaaay!). Would be interesting if we had a reliable way to summon them other than death nova.
if you’re using scepter you’re most likely going with the curses traitline, the last minor converts 13% of your precision to condition dmg
I’ve been playing a condi necro and been having a blast, only downside so far is that fear doesn’t affect the breakbars on the first boss/adds
Not sure if it’s really a bug but when the vale guardian splits into 3 cc conditions such as fear, chill doesn’t work on their breakbars

I think you get a trinket at from doing all HoT act 4 achievements you can choose stats on, don’t know if there are any more.
freeze affects skill recharge while slow affects skill activation
Almost every off hand dagger my male sylvari uses seem to end up going through his knee while wearing skirt like pants (almost every light armor).
This has probably been up on the forum before but i’ve never seen a post about it so i thought i’d make one.
A male sylvari necro can also say “I command you to rise again!” or “Come to me minion, and do my bidding.” when summoning and “Back to dust my minion” or “Another minion down… I’ll have to make more” when it dies.
I think the other lines have already been mentioned.

Unfortunately necros are usualy kick on sight when ttrying to get into a pug group
Necros can’t suicide-jump off cliffs anymore. That’s about the only real DS-nerf here.
On the other hand, they fixed a bug that apparently was letting Necros take more damage from direct attacks while in DS. So I’d say the survivability is now INCREASED. Not even talking about the faster generation of life force through spectral skills and axe 2.
Spoken like someone who has never played a necro… go back to ele or guard, leave the skilled players alone…
Actually, Necro is one of the classes I play quite frequently. I didn’t touch my lvl 30 Ele or my lvl uhm… 14 (I think) Guardian for at least two months.
Edit: Talking about skilled; it appears to me that you’re not one of the “skilled players” if you don’t see the facts. Even if you should have to face-tank a big attack of a boss for some weird reason, it will actually do less damage as before, because they fixed the bug that did make you take more direct damage while you are in DS.
Going into DS before a big incomming hit (backstab/mighty blow/evisc/boss’ OHKO) would make you effectively ‘dodge’ it, even if you had only 5% pool. Now you will eat all the dmg as it overflows out of DS. That’s why he called on you being not-skilled. This is not only a jump-off-cliffs nerf, it’s a definately survivability nerf since we didn’t get any evade/invul/escape tool replacement. Check wiki for Evade/Invul/Block/, guess who’s missing at the party.
You need at least 10% life force to get into DS.
I find it heavily unlikely that everyone complaining about this actually used a sliver of life force to soak up a big hit. The way people are crying it sounds like some people could absorb every backstab and always generate 10% life force on a whim to block everything.
Most if the time it’s probably soaking 1k damage, and hardly ever these huge hits.
ever played against lupi?
wont the death shroud changes completely screw us over in pve? now we have practically no defence against bosses 10-20k hits since we completely lack block/evade skills.
