For once I’m going to have to side with ANet.
If you’re not in WvWvW to compete on behalf of your server then kindly get out.
Did you see the score? It was a thursday and one server owned nearly all points. Maybe they just wanted a fun fight?
BG stomp you all and we have little to no GvG guilds so stop lieing yourself kids. GvG is Newbies and Beginners mode, end of story.
Much love. XD
So if you got 14 level 80 beginners to command over you would win over a good gvg team? Gl
They really need to do something about this.

I think it is pretty fine right now, we are the only class I can think of that can have both swiftness and vigor up all the time. If they made it 10 points only, I think we will be too strong.
The “Living Story” updates are no different from other MMO updates other than adding a tiny bit of story onto the new content. We get a new feature here and there, bug fixes, balancing, and temporary story content.
And a few times a year, there will be larger updates that either adds or changes something more significant in the game.
Personally, I would rather have a small feed of updates than waiting awhile for longer updates. If these “Living Story” updates didn’t exist, I’d imagine there would not be too much to entice the player to keep playing. I mean, obtaining end-game skins are fun and all, to a point.
What are these large updates that adds or change something significant? Except for taco, I don´t think we have gotten anything this year.
Agreed, this is very irritating.
They need to make it english only, this is a pretty big problem EU, last time I checked nearly 50% was in another language. And as everyone else says, people need to read the discription.
Having fun with Rocket Boots:
You vs. Zerg
Hit Slick Shoes then immediately rocket boots through them for the lulzDefinitely going to try and get a good laugh out of this next time I play.
Also, the rocket boots ability is absurdly good at breaking target. If someone is running at you or you get snared/focused, popping rocket boots and shooting past them will confuse them for a few seconds and give you some breathing room (while they try to find you again).
I´ve tried this and it is very fun. And if I´m not mistaken you can use rocket boots toolbelt skills for extra speedboost too.
I don´t get all the hate. If op wants a smooth run, why not? Maybe he have limited playtime? People will get kicked anyway, why not give us the options from the beginning? It makes it smoother for everyone.
More skills and content that STAYS.
I don´t get why everyone is angry, maybe he have limited playtime and want a smooth run? I see nothing wrong with that. If they don´t give us options for this, people will get kicked anyways. It just gives everyone a better experience.
I agree, I would be much happier if they could give us new zones, skills and stuff.
But I would like to see events like wintersday and hallowen return, those were the best events IMO.
If they just can give us the same content as last year, I will be more than happy. Kinda sad that the first event still is the best IMO.
I just rewatched the trailer and it gives me chills.
And Mad King clocktower is the funniest thing I´ve done on this game.
Nooooooo!
Every WvW player on the most populated server gets +4 Might, +7% crit and +150 Toughness, Vitality and Healing. All this when they introduce big rewards for being on the winning server.
How is that supposed to make WvW more enjoyable? More interesting? More satisfying?
But wait, didn’t this prove to be a bad idea last time?
Haven’t we been saying for months that this is a bad idea?
Hasn’t that message been the most consistent and possible the most posted ever since ANet announced they were replacing the orb mechanic? The incentives that encourage zerging are bad enough. But to increase the incentives for blobbing at the server level is, at the very best, incredibly naive.
What WvW needs is the direct opposite of what’s happening here. For WvW to be interesting, Anet need to encourage participation on underdog servers; to reward between servers (not imbalance).
+1. This is exactly what I didnt want. It makes the strongest server stronger which makes no sense at all.
+1 No reason to not have the option other than kill the GvG
These runes are overpowered on nearly every class but it will probably be engineers who gets nerfed anyway
Is it too hard? Respect the awesome work

I’ve been a completionist from the start of GW2 completing all the achievements from the monthly/special themed contents.
But this. This is where it finally hit me. This one here is simply not fun at all.
The whole part about losing lives and eventually running out of coins where you either have to farm more coins or buy the gem coin to continuing trying.
Tribulation is just insane. It’s not fun or interesting, it’s simply sadistic. Also tying that with how you essentially need to buy the infinite coin to even consider trying it out is simply crazy. It would be the equivalent of ‘I Wanna Be The Guy’ getting players to pay $1 to retry every time they died but it doesn’t that’s why people can keep trying over and over.
Also if you try to throw out some analogy regarding old platform games and their difficulty, all I’d have to say is.
“I don’t recall my console/gameboy locking out the game cartridge after a month has gone by.”
Because of how GW2 is, it forces the player to do the current content ASAP before the month is gone and so is the content.
I even tried doing some of tribulation World 1 zone 1 while watching a youtube guide, while halfway in I just thought to myself “This is just stupid.” and exited while I was about 3/4 of the way to the boss.
I’m also really confused where they said that SAB would be fun and challenging like the Halloween Clockwork jumping puzzle. I loved that jumping puzzle it was the best experience I ever had in GW2 since then and most likely till the end of GW2 days. SAB doesn’t even compare to it at all.
I also wish you wouldn’t try to compare content with the Halloween JP, it’s always hits way off the mark. The Halloween JP was most likely a one time thing and GW2 got it perfect but you’ll never be able to match it with other stuff.
I don’t even know how this months content will even be remotely enjoyable to the average casual gamer. It feels as if this months content was designed for the hardcore sadistic players (whatever tiny percent that is).
It’s like dragonbash all over again where it kind of locked out new players because most of the content during dragonbash required large amounts of gold to take part and enjoy.
This is pretty exactly how I think. I loved the mk clocktower, it is the funniest thing I´ve done in this game. SAB is nowhere the same. When you died in mk clocktower, you knew it was because you did a mistake. This is pretty much the opposite and it is sad because I enjoyed world 1 too.
I did the 5 gambits achievment on Subject 7 with this build. Choose everything except for crowd favorite. Run in, drop turrets and start bombing. Wait some seconds and overcharge for blind. When the smoke is gone, use the smoke bomb for more blind. Use static shot for another blind. Subject 7 will now be on about 50% hp. You will now start to take some damage. Drop supply crate for heals. Continue to bomb the boss and at the same time you will probably need to grab some heals. Overcharge and use smoke bomb as soon as possible. It will take down the boss pretty quick.
The whole infrastructure went under maintenance; which should have ended by now. At the time of your post; it still may not have been up.
It was up, some people were streaming. It still doesn´t work for me.
I´m getting connection error if that is what you mean?
An achievement is an achievement for a reason…
If you can’t do it, you shouldn’t earn it.
I agree here, you can´t call it a achievment if you just earn it for free.
