I’m having the same problem

Yak’s bend is beating Crystal Desert right now. They are probably a better candidate considering they recently got more transfers

Forrealz, these guys are an amazing bunch, but they are just lacking enough people to GvG. if you’re looking for a great up and coming guild, deffff give these guys a look!

Don’t listen to Mute Paladin. He knows nothing about Crystal Desert.

CD is an amazing place.

1. Henge Of Denravi – The coverage right now they have are insane. So many different guilds have gone to that server, that capturing many different objectives would be too simple.

2. Fort Aspenwood – As many people are speculating, they are gonna lose some guilds, and that will effect them, but since they’ve been on such a high server for so long, their PvE players might carry them.

3. IoJ – Just based on that they are currently beating SBI

4. SBI

5. Yak’s Bend – Great PvE base, that came through for them last season. This server also defends well, so ppt will always be there.

6. Crystal Desert – Although they lost a few guilds, they also gained a lot of smaller guilds that are able to be the difference maker. Their SEA is strong and will always be the backbone to this server.

7. NSP – Like Crystal Desert, got many new guilds which will help boost their performance. However, a weaker SEA than Crystal Desert might be the difference between the 2 servers.

8. SoR – Don’t underestimate this server. Their PvE heroes might come out to play, and this server has the strongest PvE out of all the silver league. All they really need is a few capable drivers and they could do some damage.

9. Borlis Pass – Lost too many guilds and it’s a shame because they have one of the greatest communities.

Giving these guys a bump. They are very good at zerg busting

Straegen, I think you are underestimating HoD at the moment.

So let me try to put it in perspective for you.

Before free transfers, CD/HoD/SF matchup was really close. CD was up on HoD by 12k. Since, the free transfers, HoD has constantly been ticking 450+. CD could only keep up during our strong SEA time, but that only lasts for like 4 hours.

Now, if HoD were to be matched up with CD and/or NSP, the final score would look similiar to the DB/SBI/SoR score. This could easily drop CD/NSP to bronze. (SoR lost 80pts last week because of this lopsided score)

They will challenge Henge Of Denravi. Because I believe HoD has the numbers to face off DB now.

With this week determining the placements of league, please manually set the matches up! Many servers are borderline Gold/Silver league and Silver/Bronze league, if matches are based on “current” rankings, then some servers are going to fall in a league that they don’t belong.

Servers that are currently in danger: Fort Aspenwood, Dragonbrand, Maguuma, Northern Shiverpeaks, Crystal Desert, Sanctum of Rall, Sorrows Furnace, Ferguson’s Crossing, and Darkhaven.

Fort Aspenwood, Dragonbrand, Maguuma – These 3 servers are currently on the border of Gold/Silver. If leagues were to start today, Dragonbrand would be in gold. However, many believe that they don’t belong in gold, since they were whooped by Maguuma a couple weeks ago.
SOLUTION: Have all 3 servers face each other in order to decide the standings. Loser goes to silver.

Northern Shiverpeaks, Crystal Desert – These 2 servers are currently on the border of Silver/Bronze. If leagues started today, they would be in Silver (where they belong). However, if matchup are based on their “current ratings”, these 2 servers have a HIGH chance of drawing Henge of Denravi. Henge of Denravi got many transfer during the free period, enough that they are guaranteed a top 3 finish for Silver. Apparently, they can queue up all four maps. The issue here is that, Crystal Desert and Northern Shiverpeaks could lose enough ratings to fall to bronze if they faced off against Henge of Denravi. Because HoD will roll Crystal Desert and Northern Shiverpeaks with their new coverage.

Sanctum of Rall – This poor server has a been a desert town for the last couple weeks. With most of their WvW population transferring off, almost everyone can agree that they don’t belong in Silver.
SOLUTION : Have Crystal Desert, Northern Shiverpeaks, and Sanctum of Rall face off this week. See if Sanctum of Rall has what it takes to be in silver. If they get steamrolled here, move one server from Bronze up. This matchup will prevent Crystal Desert and Northern Shiverpeaks from moving to Bronze.

Sorrows Furnace, Ferguson’s Crossing, Darkhaven – These 3 servers are currently sitting the at top of Bronze league. Based of previous results, It would be a tragedy if one if these servers replace Crystal Desert or Northern Shiverpeaks in silver. However, if Santum of Rall moves down to bronze, let these 3 servers fight it out to decide who gets that silver spot.
SOLUTION: Only move one of these servers up, if Sanctum of Rall is moving down to bronze.

TL;DR: So anet, please let Dragonbrand/Fort Aspenwood/Maguuma face each other to see who is worthy of Gold.

Please don’t let Northern Shiverpeaks and/or Crystal Desert slip into bronze league because they have to face a Henge of Denravi server that has numbers to battle Dragonbrand.

You should consider coming to Crystal Desert.

First thing I noticed is that you play during Singapore times. That’s perfect because that is CD’s strongest time. We have a really weak NA, but during OCX time, that’s when the people come out.

CD is lacking in Commanders, so you won’t get flamed at all for commanding. In fact, you will be encouraged to command. Our PUGs are great fighters around OCX time, so you won’t have to worry about them holding down the weight. PUGs that listen is another thing… But that’s why you’d have to teach them. I’ve noticed that we don’t have many commanders teaching our PUGs what to do, so they get better at a slower rate. YOU could be the change in CD.

One thing great about CD (during OCX of course) is that there are always a lot of people in WvW, just no body to lead them. Once a commander tag pops up, you will be instantly hoarded by the PUGs. Because they need someone to lead.

You mentioned something about PvE? oh, you don’t have to worry about CD. We are a pve server. We have a high population and most of them are PvE-ing. Once the newest patch releases, you can bank on half the wvw population to get their achievements.

and the lastly, you mentioned that you are looking for a server with a great community. I’ll be honest with you, every server is going to have their dramas. I mean, it’s really hard to get everyone to get along. CD is no exception, but if you can overlook our community dramas, you’ll find CD is a great place to stay. We used to be a T2-3 server, but most of our WvW guilds have left us. So what you have left is only those with Server pride and we have a lot of it.

I’m not even from SBI, but this is the most disgusting thing i’ve seen. It totally goes against the integrity of the game.

I feel sorry for Borlis Pass whom will have to deal with this same double team and will finish 5th because of this alliance.
