Hmmm
That “Memory at address bdc98488 could not be read” message leads me to think about possible RAM issues. Try to run the memory test tool and see what happens.
To run the tool:
Open Memory Diagnostics Tool by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type Memory, and then click Diagnose your computer’s memory problems.? If you’re prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.Let us know what happens
Sorry for the late response. I’ve ran the diagnose and it says that there’s no problem with my memory.
Could this be an overheating problem? Because I didn’t clean my computer for more than a year now IIRC. Also, after I made this post I went in Gw2 in window mode and checked SpeedFan, I saw that Gw2 uses about 80%+ of my CPU, and most of my fans temps were high (the little fire icon appeared near them), and one of the fans named ‘core’ was at 51-52 C.
Thanks.
*edit: Also I’d like to note that I’ve installed Gw2 in a removable disk drive, I don’t know how to describe it, it’s one of those huge USB disks that have 1 terrabyte space, it says HITACHI on it.

I played the game for more than a year now and it wasn’t causing any problems, but few months ago it started crashing and rebooting my computer at random times.. Sometimes I can play for hours without a problem but sometimes it crashes in 5 minutes.
I’ve read countless threads of people having this same problem but I haven’t found an answer.
I followed the instructions in this thread:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Computer-Crashes-when-running-game/first#post14990
I installed SpeedFan and GameBooster, turn both of them on and changed the game to windowed mode (ran all of them as administrator), but it still crashed in less than 5 mins, and I was checking the SpeedFan and the temps seemed fine (it showed 37 in the icon idk if thats ok or not).
My specs:
Processor: AMD Athlon™ II x4 640
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Monitor: ATI Radeon HD 4600
I also attached the crash log if you want more info.
Thanks.

I’m having this problem too, please if anyone in this thread managed to fix it tell me how you did it.
Hi, I made a video showing my WvW necromancer build, hope you enjoy it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upndu8PA104
The build is called “Corruption build”, it centers around giving conditions and removing boons.
It’s very effective against classes that rely on boons like guardians and rangers .
This build works so good in 1v1 fights because you always have complete control on your enemies, you give them any condition you want, and take from them every countering boon.
If you stack the signet of corruption to 25, have food activated, and use blood is power, you can get to 2100+ condition damage, with 60% condition duration, and 27K~ hp.
this build is all about 1v1 so it wont be as effective if fighting multiple enemies.
Please share it if you liked it.
For me the hardest part was the precursor and my T6 and guy, 60 T6 of each is not have way there!
The karma? WvW, I don’t know what server you are on, but the top tiered once have these weekly karma train right before reset and I would say dailies, but that’s been nerfed :/
Gold, idk how I got my gold I just suddently had it :p The Frostgorge champ farm gives you a good amount of gold/t6
I reccomend you to get it in this order Mastery (easiest imo)> Gift of (Your Legendary)>Prec>Gift of fortune.
Having a pretty exspensive precursor it might be smart to focus on farming T6/Lodestones (dungeons/fotm/champions) and use the gold you get on your precursor, If you have all the ectos you need you can start Mkitten your rares, I have heard it was better to do that than to salvage them.
So recap: Do Temples/Dragons (Rares>Ectos/MF), Dungeons (gold/lodestones), Champ Farming(gold/T6), WvW on fridays(Gold/Karma),
Thanks! but isn’t it better to sell the rares than salvage or forge them? (each rare costs 20 – 25 silver), and it’s almost impossible to get 100 lodestones from dungeon runs, so ill buy them.
I’ve calculated all the ingredients that I’ll buy (not including the precursor), it adds up to about 600g… I’ve never been so motivated!
But seriously, how could I possibly get the precursor? should I try the Mystic forge or just buy it without taking risks?
I already have the Gift of mastery, I’m halfway done with Gift of fortune (31 mystic clovers, 60 of each tier 6 mats).
The only problem I have now is money and karma, I searched up hundreds of farming guides, and all of them are either outdated or not that efficient.
I started doing champ runs in Frostgorge Sound, and it’s pretty good so far, only problem is it doesn’t give karma, and I’m not sure if it’s the best way to farm gold.
So please anyone who ever crafted atleast 1 legendary weapon, tell me how did you get all the gold and karma, and anyone who doesn’t have a legendary yet, but knows a good way of farming, you are welcome to share your ways too.
Thanks for the help!
