Welcome to the ‘ArenaNet screwed me of random high ammount of gold and won’t do anything to fix it’ club.
This is the life of second-class GW2 citizens aka the wvw-ers. You spend weeks getting gold for a set of expensive sigils and runes only to see them being useless if you plan to upgrade to ascended armour or different stats build.
The solution is so incredibly easy as to make WvW salvaged gear only return the Rune / Sigil if there was one and nothing else. Hell even make it account bound and requires a BL Salvage kit, couldn’t care less just offer this option.

1 Ascended armor chest (Sentinel’s) and 5 rings in 1060 levels. All from rank up.

With the changes to ascended rings i now have at least 1 duplicate for every ring. My problem is that i don’t know what to do with these duplicates. I don’t want to vendor them only to find out in some time that Anet will allow salvaging for them.
Anyone know if there is anything planned for them? What did you do with your duplicate rings?

Yesterday evening, after your ‘fix’ on SFR Eb was business as usual, mega lagfest for half of the time and huge skills speedups after.
If i may i would suggest an QoL improvement to WvW: scrap the music you have now and add some from the Benny Hill show when people were chasing eachother. Thanks!

Eotm is specifically built for PvE players who want to experience some sort of WvW (it’s actually PvE karma train but with a gate in front of the champion) and get their needed 500 badges and rank 15? for the legendary.
My guild only does roaming and we get maybe 500 badges a week while in Eotm i got about 300 for 2 hours of play (and also about 15 champion bags). The imbalance is huge, badges should be rewarded ONLY for killing other players.

What i dislike is that, while all the formerly PvE exclusive skins are going to be acquirable through PvP now, there was a mention of PvP exclusive skins that won’t be acquirable through PvE. This, in my opinion, is neither equal nor fair treatment of both game modes.

Can you get the LS skins like Gasmask, Dragon Bash Wings, Scarlet mask etc through PvP now? If not your concern is invalid.

*Whole map has lag, there are a ton of messages on chat and all members of my party say the same thing even though some might still be on spawn.

*I play between 7 and 10 pm GMT only in EB and there is lag about 60-70% of the time.
*Lag comes when there are big zergs fighting but it seems to not be map specific. That means that if 2 zergs fight in Bay on a Borderland, EB will have lag.
*Blobs versus Blobs, God knows how many….

One mention is that this was not an issue before. Sure 3 zergs attacking SM in the lord room in the same time would cause some lag but that’s it. Now the time i spent in EB is a lagfest rather than a lag-free.

I’m sure people read it and liked or didn’t like your ideas (i personally like them). The problem is, like most of the sugestion posts on wvw forum, that these ideas will never be implemented.
WvW is the lowest priority for Anet it seems so a lot of people simply gave up on hoping for improvements.

There are two sides to this, the one with people who play warriors and the other with people who play other classes.
Sadly the first side has more members.

Since they ‘improved’ the queue system not only that i seem to stay longer in queue even if there is another map for WvWers to go, but i get more and more errors of not being able to join WvW because matches are being updated. What gives?

Also these queue numbers are just a rough indication of when you will be able to join WvW, they are in no way accurate.

Example:
Friend is number 1 in queue for 25 minutes and nothing happens. He rejoins and he is 56. At that time i am number 46.
When i get the pop-up to enter EB he is number 19. What kind of queue is that, how is it possible for other people to get IN FRONT of him?

I love WvW. I spend 99% of my GW2 time in WvW. The whole thing is great but with some tweaks and additions it can be perfect.

Likes:
- Small scale battles and roaming.
- Freedom to play any kind of build you want.
- Large scale fights (with equal numbers and when there is no lag)

Dislikes:
- PvE stuff in WvW. Why?
- Skill lag when 3 servers fight in SM that affects me even if i am on the other side of the map.
- The rewards are far less than in PvE. I have to do sometimes PvE so i can get gold to upgrade or change my specs for WvW.

I just received my Green Quaggan backpack as a ‘Thank you’ from Arenanet for buying gems. They sure do have a sick sense of humor.

The main idea is exactly what Mileinnor.7125 said. This is far better system than what it was used at the Karka event or with the Dragon Coffers. You have a 100% chance to get a skin by simply killing a few mobs every day.

Surprisingly for me the best way to get them was in WvWvW. I played for about 2-3 hours last night and i ended up with exactly 80 fortune scraps. The heavy loot bags do indeed have a pretty good chance to contain a Kite Fortune.
