let me start off by saying to all those people who are linking that youtube video of that backstab. My main is a thief and i watched that video over and over a couple of times, do you realize how MUCH survivability that guy has sacrificed in order to basically be a one trick pony?? ALL THAT GUY CAN DO IS A NICE BACKSTAB. he can probably take about 4 hits in pvp then hes dead, he has absolutely no escape tools…no CC breaks, can remove ONE condition every 30+ seconds oh and sorry he can blind a SINGLE enemy every 30+ seconds…yea real OP guys

this is kittened the thiefs stealth and ability to gain initiative in a fight and is its only strong point, if you nerf stealth then whats left for a thief to do???t span heartseeker all day long….no thanks..the class would become utterly boring as hell. Oh and if they do nerf stealth then they need to nerf the crap out of mesmers cause they are WAY more OP then thiefs

i believe they are specifically designed to be maxed at 250 units in order o present a choice to the player, do you want more stacks or do you want more bank space, seems trivial but this can sometimes play an important role, especially when Anet is trying to sell bank slots, you have to remember they need to make money in order to continue developing and supporting the game.

I’d like to suggest that a new “Scout” tag be available (say for 50g), much like the commander, but with a different symbol, and the ability to have only 5 people in your ‘troop’.

i believe the word your looking for is squad. A troop is usally a cavalry unit consisting of two or more platoons which consist of 2 or more squads, a squad being a small number of soldiers, commonly 10 privates, a staff sergeant, and a corporal; the smallest military unit.

Hello i have some ideas that i belive will improve the amount of players that participate in WvW and also bring a sense of world and guild loyalty and pride in WvW which benefits existing players.

  • Gaurd Titles: This first suggestion is imo a simple change to add to the game, basically instead of just saying “Veteran Guard” it would either say “Veteran Guard” with the title (similar to players titles) being the name of the guild that claims the territory where the guard exists, OR it would say “Veteran Guard[GUILD TAG]”. I think adding something like this will really make WvW feel more meaningful to guilds rather then just having a banner icon hanging, because, let’s face it, nobody really knows what guild is claiming a territory because nobody really recognises others guilds emblems.
  • Guild Bonuses: For this idea i think that in order to incentivise the more PvE centric guilds to come and participate in WvW there should be bonuses for controlling territory in WvW and those bonuses should either scale with the node itself (i.e. larger bonus for claiming Stonemist, and a smaller but still good bonus for claiming a tower or camp) OR the bonus should grow over time the longer you control your territory.
    As for the actual bonus that a guild would recieve, i am not sure but you guys at Anet are creative and i believe you could think of something, I would expect you to do something like more EXP, or MF, but i think what would REALLY be a good idea would be something like more % damage the longer you control a node in wvw, but thats just my opinion so whatever you do is fine just as long as there is some kind of bonus to make the PvE guys more inclined to play.
  • Guild Alerts: I’ll be honest you guys might already have this implemented but im in a predominantly PvE guild (i think im the only one that does WvW) so if it is implemented i have never seen it. The idea is if you own some territory in WvW but you happen to be at the trading post or slaying some dragon out in the world and suddenly your area in WvW starts getting attacked there will be a guild wide chat notice and possibly a sound effect saying something like, “Your guild’s tower Kloven Gully is under attack! There are n number of <server name> players in the area!”. What this will do is basically give you and your guild time (all be it a small window" to rally the troops and react to this threat to your tower.

All in all I think these ideas are a really good start to bringing a sense of ownership to the meta game of WvW. Right now there is a feeling of World(server) ownership in WvW but there really isn’t a feeling that guilds are important aside from the emblem which just isn’t enough IMO. Please let me know what you think of these ideas.

I have only done the dragon ball achievement and i am not sure if that is one of the ones that doesn’t count but my dragon bash experience still says that i have 0 achievements completed. I am wondering if i am bugged too.

On a side note please make the jagged horrors useful cause as it stands there completely useless. I suggest moving the trait to the 25 point minor trait slot and returning them to the way they used to be where you could have multiple spawned at the same time.
By moving them to the 25th slot it makes people have to invest the points for those that want to be heavy summoners and prevents people from getting huge bang for the buck by only spending 5 points in the line and getting an army of them.

Something needs to be done about this. i love necro its my favorite class but seriously all the corruption skills only work 50% of the time (if that much) in sPvP. the skills im referring to are blood is power, corrupt boon etc.. they hardly ever work and they always seem to fail at the most critical times in a tough fight when you need them most…plz fix these skills so they work 100% its not fair. thanks for your time.
