Optimize my build! D/F

So I’ve been playing necromancer since release and have been deathly bored with conditionmancer and well/mark play. After going through all the combos and builds I could think of I’ve decided Dagger/Focus is my favorite besides the typical support build for playing with buddies.

Anyway, looking for anyone’s input on traits and gear, i’m not the best at min/max and I could be using bugged traits or who knows what else.

I have been playing this (and another build that is similar but not crit.) for about a week and a half now, and have been doing very well. I’m pretty unstoppable 1v1, and hold up well in team fights as long as I position well. Obviously this is an ‘I wanna stab kitten face off’ spec and not team support.

Ill shut up now.

I am using 2/6 Warrior and 4/6 Eagle for runes.
Soldiers amulet + Berserker Jewel.
Might on Swap (Dagger) Lifesteal on hit (Focus)
Gain Endurance on swap (staff)

Fights usually start with staff out, so swapping to dag for might, and if I don’t win and need to escape I go staff so the +endurance is awesome.

Where can I improve? Gain free stats? Bugged Traits?

Liked it, little long but still good.

Like the build as well. I’ve been playing around with a D/F build like it and its been so much fun compared to the boring old conditionmancer.

Fixing Wells - And a few other things

Going to have to agree and say wells are fine honestly. The cool down is a little long for s/tPVP sometimes, but really I don’t find myself in to many situations where it hasn’t cooled down between fights. Is it slightly annoying I cant often use them multiple times in one fight? Yes, however I think they are a very strong utility and being able to use them more often could be slightly over powering.

I tend to keep darkness/corruption on my bar most of the time. Darkness is incredible against thieves/warriors and corruption ruins boon stackers. If you are having trouble keeping people in wells then try working on snares and roots, we have a plethora of them.

If you really wanna talk about utilities….how about those spectral skills =x

I had tried a siphon well build and had some fun with it, was awesome survivability if there were enough people or against mesmers. Pretty useless other than that, I would try it in WvW with a guild as a support build for sure.

Please fix the Necromancer Staff! It's broken!
