My guess is all the popular sigils and runes were either nerfed or kept the same and they buffed everything else. Otherwise force would be even more used than it is already
True. You should see what’s happening to Celestials…
The blades do poke through any of the kitpacks.
The backpack I’ve tended to run with is the Slickpack, especially with the Flamethrower or Elixir Gun kits, you end up with a clipped hybrid, the kit fluid tank sitting atop the lower portion of the Slickpack.
My Engie tends to run two different looks. The first is a more ‘uniform’ style, using the tier 1 human chest, Aetherblade legs, and the riding-boot look of the Noble boots.
For more ‘formal’ engineering activities, Aetherblade shoulders and gloves, Magitech torso, and Viper leggings and boots (preferred over the Magitech same). Swapping the Magitech shoulders, depending on mood.
Don’t tend to run with a visible helm, but always have the Aetherblade “Biggles” helmet handy, in case of falling ash or inclement weather.
Hopefully, everyone got the Slickpack backpiece, and a matched set of the Aetherpistols.

PVE:
1) Armor Design / Cosmetics: Greatly increase the number of available skins and customization available
2) Dynamic Event & Mission variability: Step beyond the “collect these / guard this” mentality more often
3) Map Utilization: Scarlet’s invasions were a good first step, personal story and event beats should be either more broadly spread across the existing map, or even made to take place in unexplored regions. GW1 felt more like it took place on a word, instead of a province.

You could also look at using the revised Traveler runes.
Norn get tattoos added with the Wraith mask, if you pass the mask to a Human toon, they’ll get the white-eye effect without any extra embellishment.
Thrüdi “Lil’ Thrüdi Boom-Boom” Ogsdottr – Tarnished Coast
The Aetherpistols really set the outfit off…
Second set is Aether/Magitech, in Country Blue, Midnight Ice, and Iron.
Now, she has enough pockets.
[Edit] The last shot is most recent, a blend of Aetherblade and Magitech, in Dusky (matches the cloth on the Flamethrower pack), Tarnished Brass, and Oil Slick, with one of the new up-do’s…

We just had an assassination already, I doubt they’d do it again so quickly.
A kidnapping? That I could see.
Considering that Jennah is a Mesmer and can apparently use telepathy with Logan, I don’t think a kidnapping plot against her would last very long. Like, maybe 20 minutes?
Nah. One of the dragons kidnaps her and goes into the Collapse with her. The chase to rescue her is on a long jumping puzzle were you have to jump around on bits of old brick walls and sewer pipes while avoiding the dragon’s minions. And when we finally get to the end, Logan’s there to tell us that he got there first and discovered that THAT Jennah was only an illusion, the real Jennah must be elsewhere down there and we have to keep going.
Only if I get to roll an Ascalonian plumber…
It took a while, but I was able to beat him.
It helps to always target your opponent, to be able to see what skills he has up. When he makes his little comment upon launching his signature move, you ideally want to have just done your Bluff, with Belch and Water available.
Once his Critique is up, I’d go with with a Belch/Drink/Water combo, to wait the Critique out, then blast Bluff as often as possible, until he Critiques again.
Adnul is a test of endurance, your best bet is to stay as high in your health as possible; your Belches will admittedly do less damage, but you’ll have the HP to last another Critique cycle.
The ‘Woo’ skill seems to be most effective against him but only if you drop it right. I think I only beat him because he was around 55%, threw the Woo as he threw Critique, and I was able to change the pattern to Water/Belch/Drink/FAKE/FAKE/FAKE, and finally just just wore him down.
Yup. Enjoy the kitten.
Very Canthan / Luxon looking, fine for patchouli-wearing turtle huggers, looking forward to some decent Kurzick skins eventually…
Well, if you want a semi-historical source for your character’s name, and really want to do your research, Sturluson’s ‘Prose Edda’, E.V. Gordon’s ‘Introduction to Old Norse’, and any basic text of Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, or Faroese. The Icelandic Sagas have many examples of female names as well.
You could also stretch the “Scandinavian” interpretation and include Old English, Old German, Saxon, or Finnish language sources.
Of course, many folks skip that all together, and just slap a “-dottir” at the end of the character’s name…
Hmm was hoping for more of a special look, everyone i speak says : " Its just green "
Sadly, the tonal effect seems to work better on Cloth armors, the preview on some of my alts wearing Metal or even Leather weren’t that impressive.
Snuck in and bought a ‘Deep Glacial Sky’ before the cost was jacked up too high…
They new dyes certainly offer greater contrast, especially on Cloth armors. I think the ‘Dark’ Heavy armor set might be the only metal armor that would show off the effects of these new dyes. (UPDATE: Nope, tried it, Dark armor looks little different in Midnight Blue…)
Attached a couple of comparison shots of the same suit in Midnight Blue / Midnight Ice, versus the new DGS / Midnight Ice. Really shows off the contrast well.
Looking forward to more examples from future events. Just glad they didn’t add a violet / purple, as of yet, my bank wouldn’t survive my Mesmer’s demands…

Khal,
Thanks for the in-depth discussion. It’s nice to see peeps sticking with the Necro, despite the issues the class as a whole is still having.
One question, though. I was considering farming the Twilight dungeon for the Nightmare rune set, but now I’m conflicted. Is the Precision you get from the Thieves set that exceptional, or could I augment the Precision loss another way?
Hi, I can attest, a bunch of us tried it last night, went through Arah Story again, and it doesn’t get you to him. He supposedly appears only during the celebration at the end of your Personal missions.
So, for those toons that haven’t done Arah yet, you’ll have access to this guy at the end of your personal story, enjoy your weapons.
Those that have, like my main, enjoy your token.
