I am all for this idea but only after every single run-through-the-wall, stand-on-the-thing, hide-in-this-corner, etc. glitch is shut down. Many instances where any increase of difficulty would be pretty much moot until these things are fixed.

I think you should try swapping your shield for warhorn. Take the Quickbreathing trait instead of the shout cooldown. If youre feeling too vulnerable without the shield, consider main handing a mace instead of an axe. Take the mace trait instead of the shield trait. Also, since you have the auto-endure pain trait, you might want to swap out endure pain on the hotbar for balanced stance or something else situationaly.

Traited warhorn may be the single most significant thing you can do without really adjusting the guts of your build. AoE weakness in PvE feels more defensive to me than a shield. AoE vigor lets everyone dodge more frequently. Avoiding damage is ideal. AoE condition cleanse and conversion can go a long way towards increasing your and everyone elses survivability.

I personally love being set on fire constantly. Quickbreathing = Aegis twice every 16 seconds.

Thank you for sharing this, i like it very much. It is nice to see a build which capitalizes off of what i feel are a few very underrated things, vigor, weakness and banners.

I cant help but imagine you might, for pure wtf/confusion and giggles, set rampage and auto attack with a banner. I have an unusual sense of humor though so take that with a grain of salt. Still, as kitten as Rampage is, it might actually bring something to the table in an oshi-moment. Could actually get away with not using SoR i guess i mean to say. Maybe…if you find yourself going the route of dropping precision anyway.

Build; Vital Tanking Healer (Dungeon/Wv3)

Hang on. I am either misunderstanding something or maybe you’ve worded something wrong? A Warrior with nothing invested in vitality has, what, 18000 HP and change? 30% of 18000 is 5400. 5400 hp healed in a “single shout”? How can this be? I am in full exotic Clerics armor and jewelry, missing 100 healing from traits and am just shy of 2200 per shout. Are you sure you didn’t mean the healing skill on 10 second cool down from Banner of Tactics cures for ~30-40% of a glass Warrior? I do not mean to say you are wrong. I would love some clarification and if i can improve my shout healing by 150% that would be great. My total healing power is a bit over 1300.

Why no Quick Breathing? You are already 30 into Tactics and happen to use a warhorn. Isn’t Shake It Off + Shrug It Off redundant? You might find that setting Quick Breathing allows for more flexibility in the runes or healing skill you select. That or just two additional ways to deal with conditions.

Rampage, Stability & Boon Duration

Thank you for the insight, Merendel. It is kind of a shame it doesnt work that way. +70-90% boon duration isnt a small investment. Same goes for Physical Training relating to the suggestion i had for it to synergize with Rampage in the OP.

I agree that using Rampage on those harpies is likely not a great solution and i appreciate the tips, Recently.

It was more that i just got caught up in seeing how much stability i could cycle through back to back to back, just to see. I was just trying to describe how i came to notice the stability duration vs the actual Juggernaut transformation and point out that the +% boon duration from different sources all worked the way i expected them to on both Balanced Stance and Dolyak Signet. Just not on Rampage despite what the tool tip showed. They all have the same little boon icon, the pillar looking thing, like a fat white “I” on an orange field.

Cycling through those 3 abilities on cool down put up a bit over 80 seconds of uninterrupted stability. It would have been closer to 100 seconds i think if the stability buff from Rampage wasn’t weirdly cut short when the Juggernaut transformation ended. Is that particularly useful? Maybe not but it still seems off to me.

I have recently reached FotM lv10. The harpies in Uncategorized Fractal inspired me to look more closely at my stability utilities.

I happen to have traited 30% boon duration and wear an addition +30%. Balanced Stance and an active Dolyak Signet each supply 12 3/4 seconds worth of stability. I equipped a Banner of Tactics, shuffled around some traits for stance duration and signet cool down thinking, ok, lets just see what kind of a stability-wall i can come up with. Then i remembered Rampage. With the now +70% boon duration, the tool tip described 34 seconds of stability. But no! “Rampage” the buff lasting for only 20 seconds, removed the extra 14 seconds of stability when it wore…

I have read plenty of complaints about the uselessness of Rampage. With that in mind, something which might increase the usefulness would be to possibly allow the stability to carry over on its own or maybe even extend the juggernaught state to reflect stability duration.

From there it also crossed my mind that the grandmaster trait in Arms, Physical Training, might also be adjusted to read: Physical utilities and Rampage skills. Would all of this be enough to make Rampage worth equipping? Mmmidunno.

Good idea or bad, the discrepancy with stability described in the tool tip just feels a little inconsistent. Maybe this was overlooked?
