Wow… Most of the bows do have those awful strings after all, except a couple of them… How can people just be ok having such wonderful bows with strings that ruin the design completely?

I wanted to play Sylvari Ranger with Dreamthistle longbow so much, but now… Oh, I am not even sure I will be able to look at this beautiful bow spoiled by the string all the time right in my camera.

Hello to everyone who can use bows!

So, I have a question for those of you who are experienced enough to know different longbow models in game. I’ve tried some of models already (just basic ones, not some expensive skins), and noticed that every nice model has awful black string which usually does not match the design of the bow at all.

I’ve read here on the forums that some bows do have unique beautiful strings – for example, Kudzu bow (it used to have a usual black string, but then devs changed it for better), and I also heard about Plasma longbow skin having a unique yellow string, too. That’s all I know for now.

I don’t have enough money to buy all the bows to try and see their strings, and the preview doesn’t show strings at all, as well as I don’t see bow strings on other characters – only on mine. So, could you tell me, please, which longbows do have beautiful strings instead of the standard black ones?

Hello everyone!

So, I am trying to choose a class (profession) to play. I have no experience playing GW2, so I really hope for some help from you. So, what I need is the easy and nice class for PvE experience only, and what I mean by PvE here is just map cleaning, questing, some events (or whatever), just enjoying the open world of GW on my own – I have no friends playing the game, so the class I need should be good for solo game (I quite enjoy being solo).

The important thing is – I am not looking for any hard content at all, I have enough challenging gaming in another online game with my friends where we do hardcore raids and everything, and GW2 is just fun and rest for me (I love its graphics and atmosphere just so much and want to explore its lore).

So, according to my solo-PvE-openworld-easy-mode needs, which profession should I choose (I have HoT bought, if that’s important)?

Oh, and by the way, the lesser I need to swap my weapon – the better. I really hate the very idea of weapon-swapping during the fight, it just ruins everything for me somehow. I know Ele and Engi have only one weapon, still they are known to be quite hard for beginners, as I’ve read here on forums.

And the last thing – if you have some nice build saved somewhere in your bookmarks for solo open world gaming for any class – you are very welcome to share it, and I will be very grateful!

Not to create a new topic – is it possible to change the color of accessory in the hair without all those total and not total (don’t remember the name) makeover kits? Not the hair color, but just the accessory in it.

Having Guild Wars 2 in Russian would be a living dream to me – at least the text part of it. Though I do understand how much it requires to translate it. But even giving Russian players chance to type in Cyrillic would truly be a big help. I hope it will happen.
