I like this idea. Its always been fun to turn into a table or tree in the middle of LA or while doing guild events.
Prop hunt would be fun in guild wars but even when your transformed it still shows your name above/inside your transformation.
Open world pvp is not a good idea for gw2 for there is no factions that seperate the world.
Also most of the time higher level characters just camp out in lower level areas to gank people when questing or leveling and not giving them the chance to explore and take in this amazing world without the fear of somebody coming up and stabbing them in the back for no reason but to kitten them off. Thats not fun and ruins the appeal to, to many people.
Tera tried to do it with their outlaw skill book but it just ended with people being exiled from the rest of the game.
why not try wvw, it sounds like the perfect thing your looking for.
Well since they are considered collectibles it only makes since that they are deposited with the other collectibles. Why not invest in an invisible bag or safe box. The prevent collectibles from being deposited.
I like the idea, but I don’t think it would work.
what if my guardian wants the sweet helm that only a warrior can have? that’s not fair! I want the devil horns too!
Its just like cultural gear but instead of by race its by class. It helps people stand out and be individuals. Which is the whole purpose for have such customizable options in the first place. You pretty much see every class of the same armor type wearing the same armors anyways and nobody really stands out except for the dyes that they use.
To be honest, I don’t really like Underwater Combat all that much. Spear abilities seem to be the only weapons that are any good underwater.
Depends on your class. As a necro the trident skills are pretty powerful.
So basically creating 4 (different armors)*2 (gender) * 5 (races)?
That is a total of 40 new armors. Or 240 pieces all in all.Sadly I don’t think that is possible. At least not in a foreseeable future.
Well most armors there is really no change between races. They are just Morphed to fit around the body builds of each race, some more sloppily done (aka: char.)
It is still a tall order and it will obviously take some time. Its not like we are demanding it be in the next conent update. Just something for the devs to think about and work on for the future.
AS a former gw1 player I miss how armor was based on what class you chose. Why not do something similar in GW2.
Here is what I was thinking. When you talk with a class trainer have them have another option to buy a set or sets of class specific armor and to purchase them use Skill points and/or gold/crafting mats. As well as have them as super rare drops from dungeon chests and world boss chests.
I was thinking about 1-4 armor sets per class and maybe have some designed around the original guild wars armor (except for engineer.) Where each set has a different rarity and getting more complex/intricate/better but more expensive.
I, like a lot of people, have almost no use for the silly amount of Skill points I have, so I think it would be a good way to use them for something I want and not have them rot away or waste them on mystic forge items.
Yes it will be permanent. After the event the moas will lose their helmets and be plain moas. Also the mini helmed moa from the race winnings will go away and be replaced with a normal non helmed mini racing moa.
and when you go into the water play this!
I want to make a video about the golem drownings with this song now
I personally Prefer Carrion over Rabid. Mostly for the fact when I ran rabid gear I ended up downing myself half the time with self applied conditions since toughness doesnt dull the effects of conditions that much. Most of it is poor skill management or bad timing but I have more survivability with full carrion gear than rabid.
Damage wise I saw no difference between the 2 sets accept for a few more crits here and there.
I also have to agree with the nightmare runes. Even though I only use 5 of the set and have 1 undead rune for extra cd, the extra 10% cd duration helps out so much.
Never had a problem with my flesh golem dieing. Probably because I treat is as disposable wrecking ball. Really the only time it dies quickly for me is when I send it charging through a massive group of mobs or a champ, and even then it lasts a good while.
You have to remember though the flesh golem levels with you and dont treat it like a ranger treats its pets, the flesh golem is a disposable minion for an easy distraction not a guardian replacment.
