Only thing we can do is wait it out. If you don’t enjoy the events, don’t play them. I for one love the socializing during those big events and then when its over with, i might chat with the guild until the next event, or go do all the dungeons or wvw and never do the event again.
Also, bi-weekly updates are creating new players and a larger playerbase, and when they come out i get so hyped up i cancel all my plans that day and sit on my computer and play it.But yes, dragons should have new loot or champs less loot like only rare bags or larger timers.

Where does it say in my post that I do not like the new events? I actually love them but it is also important to do some serious polishing and also give time to people who work a lot in real life to have a chance to do them. If I was talking personally I do have the time to do them all so I would not care but it’s not just about what I want but also what everyone as a whole could be more happy with. On one side a lot of people would prefer more polishing and on the other side the event, then some would prefer the farming of these champions to stay then some would prefer to see people go back to fight epic dragons (rawr!). So my suggestion are about balancing everything as a whole so everyone can have a little bit of this and that.

Let’s face it, too much is like not enough.
Too many release , not enough time and polishing. Champions give too much and spawn too fast that Dragon are not worth the fight anymore. The people wait in Lion’s Arch for the next event to farm champions while the main world is a desert now. So here my suggestions to balance all of this andI know some might not like them but remember this is not “Grind Wars” but Guild awars.
-Reduce the spawn time for champions not a few minutes but a few hours. ( for example why this is bad right now and this is like this in most regions: In region like Frostbite people found a rotation to the spawning of champions so they can waypoint to one to defeat it then waypoint to the next one and so on without a break so they can farm exotic chest. It worth so much doing this that even epic fight like fighting Jormag no one care anymore.)
-Give unique dragon special drops: Giving the champions so much love now make the dragons chest having not much value and we all know that dragons are suppose to have and guard big treasures in most legend. They should worth more than a single dungeon in money and loots. If people had to choose between fighting a bunch of champions or an epic dragon for the reward the question should not even pop in their head which one to fight. It should be a dragon by far.
-Less release to balance polishing: Instead of rushing to release every 2 weeks a new contain that did not had enough time to be test and stuff that even after a year haven’t been fix (example: people getting stuck in wall after destroying a burrow in Ascalon dungeon being force to waypoint.) I would make a new release on the first of each month and in the middle of the month instead of releasing a new contain it would be a patch all about polishing the game. Like this people have time to do the monthly event without rushing or feeling like their doing a race all the time and there would be less complain about people failing to achieve their goal because of bugs or non tested material properly enough so we do not feel like lab rat tester. I understand that releasing new contains so much about financial and that behind the game there is a business but nothing stop the company to keep releasing new items to buy on the gem store every 2 weeks even if one patch out of 2 would be polishing the game.
Make the main world alive again not just for temporary release, take time to balance it and give people time to enjoy a new release. Balance patch between release with polishing patch (people will be as excite to see what they love being fix than new contains) and people wont leave the game not because they are bored but because it’s too buggy anyore.
So thats it for now!

…that I made the ranger class look interesting for the first time.
So I though I would share how I found it fun to play and how I chose my own path without asking everyone what is the “best” built for the class because there is no best way but how you and only yourself enjoy what you do as a ranger.
When I first start the class, what got into me was the desire to help other with heal and buff support making sure people stay alive while we adventure. So I decide that the spirit was the good way for me to go. Upon leveling I realize that they were a pain to;
1-Casting them was long during a fight.
2-By the time I end up the animation “of casting” they would already be dead.
3-I had to choose the right time to cast them because of their “recast timer”.
Then I realise it was not much different than the engineer turret except the casting time. To fix the problem I though why not use the “zephyr” skill first to cast very fast and then cast 2 spiris of my choice and by doing that I had time to start hitting after they are spawn and keep aggro on me.
As far as the buffs with the proper enhanced trait they quite do their job like a Guardians virtue does just more random and more often.
As using weapon I never liked bows fighting personally and when I saw the all the choice of weapons we are given plus the “swap” option I though to simple choose style I like on one swap and use the second swap with additional effect to complement my main weapon which end up giving myself incredible fun result. Let me explain it this way;
First swap set I use:
Main hand:Axe (Allows me to have some range atack.)
Off hand: Torch (Allows me to put a field of fire which enhanced all my axe throw with brn damage and to see better in caves and dungeon because of the light.)
Second swap set:
2-hand sword (because it’s my favorite weapon)
When I start a battle I first use my axe and torch from a distance to put a fire combo field and burn the ennemies "Remember axes bounce between ennemies. Before the fire field end I swap my weapons for my 2-hand sword use my “sweep” skill to generate a fire shield around me. By that time I have put a few bleed effect and burn effect on the monsters and you can see all the pretty “tic” of damage over them dieing rather much faster.
But thats not all… While also my pet does damage I also though why not add some interesting rune on the weapon. I found some that for exemple make monster around you bleed or poison or chilld them when you swap weapon to this rune. Adding a “Rune of geomency” on my sword and on my axe allowed me to add an area of effct bleeding every time I swap my weapon and it all stack with all the bleed and burn damage I am already doing so the more I swap the more intense condition I make the ennemies.
To add to all this “healing spring” combo field and a pet with buff/heal I almost never ran out of health and the monstrs drops like flies while I have fun fire effect on my screen and sudden swapping earth spikes spawing to hurt the monsters around me and my spirits who give me chance to add even more effect in the total.
Am I having? Frak yes and I love it because I chose to make it fun… and between all of you and me, who care if I end up licking the ground sometime? It’s just another fun challenge to test me to try a different tactic of gameplay. There is no perfect build but the build you " choose" to have fun with. Not what the neighborhood say is good.
