For me the Daily still reads Master of Monuments (for Desert borderlands) and nothing about ruins. I remember it took absolute ages to get Anet to change their Ruin capping Daily to MoM when the Dertert BLs were introduced. This is pretty lame, to make the same mistake again – especially after improving the rewards for Dailies.
Cassi in LA is still broken as of now. Does nobody at Anet read their bug forums? At least an acknowledgement and/or apology would’ve been called for.
theres a guy in lions arch that tells you everything that happened itn living world 1,2 +cutscenes.
What guy is that? Haven’t heard of him yet!
Thx
Hey Kruhl can you please put a link to the moved thread here? I’m having the same issue, not on every relog but many times. Happened on my wife’s account too the other day – even appearing at WPs that weren’t discovered by that character yet!
Cheers!
I don’t get why ArenaNet don’t just facilitate buying Gems in-game as a present for a different account. It shouldn’t be difficult at all to implement. Converting to in-game gold and back to Gems on the far side (for Gem-only items like bank slots) is a very lossy transaction.
As a customer who has spent money in-game frequently, I feel it’s a real let-down. After all, we WANT to spend money on the game!
I noticed that with most of my colour dyes. My interpretation of that phenomenon is that the dye works differently on different materials (cloth, leather, metal) as each of these have different reflective properties.
But I could be wrong :-)
This thread is excellent. Goes to show that there’s always something you don’t know and someone else knows!
I have a little tip too. Most mice nowadays have forward/backward thumb buttons on the side, and I use these for running (forward) and dodging (backward) – helps me a lot in my gameplay.
These buttons are extremely accessible and thus should be assigned – in the key assignment screen they are called Mouse 4 & 5.
I would like to second this request. Last night in the southern Dredgehaunt Cliffs between Firebase Molek and Fridgardr Lodge, we spotted two individual bot clusters running around a certain area on a set path, attacking random mobs on their way, looting, then continuing on their run. We called them bot trains as they were like running on rails!
They had about 5 toons each, of the same type – one with 5 warriors, one with 5 rangers. One train had arbitrary names like sbzeshwk while the other train had names like Taotao Wu, Taotao No, Taotao Yes and so on. It would have been nice indeed to report the whole connected train together though, as tehy were certainly operated and controlled from a single location.
Yes it’s true that you got gifts for your char’s in-game “birthdays”. They were usually minipets and, while fun, generally just cosmetic.
Guildwars 1 was always great for its seasonal events, like the midwinter holiday events where there were lots of give-aways. I’d be surprised if Arenanet broke with this tradition for GW2.
As for your question whether there’s a point making lots of chars… well if you have empty slots, my not?
