If I invite a friend to a group then lfm in map chat, will people be able to r-click on my name and join my group? Or is there something special I need to do to create a self-join group?

During boss fights my camera scrolls in by itself. No biggie to scroll it back out again but it’s annoying to keep doing it, especially on long fights like Teq. Does anyone know of a way to lock to camera so it doesn’t do this?

I just rolled a mesmer and can’t seem to create an inactive portal. When I click my portal entre skill it immediately creates a bright pink “press F to use” portal that doesn’t go anywhere. Then the skill goes on 90 seconds cooldown. Noob question, but how do I create an inactive portal that I can make active when I get to another location? Is there something else I need to do? Thanks.

The chest didn’t show up for me on Shatterer again….third time in the last 3 days. It seems if I’m there for the entire event there’s no problem, but if I show up after the dragon has landed, even if the event just started, no chest. I can’t see it, and I don’t get the “Search”.

I was looking at the Sylvari cultural armor (t3 Firstborn coat) and would like to buy it, but if I buy it is there a way to keep the colors? Or will I be able to dye the gear so it looks as good as in the preview? I really don’t want to spend the gold if it’s not going to look as good as in the preview. TIA
