I just hope that original Desolation players that joined ruin when they started recruiting left them now and stayed on their mother server.

I honestly would understand ruin changing servers back to US or to some weaker EU server. Changing it to the obviously superior Blacktide is probably the most pathetic move I have seen in all those years I played MMOS.

And to think that I actually defended them here when everyone jumped their kitten weeks ago.

Desolation Balthazar Temple is uncontested :O.

If the transfers were once a day I would certainly do it. But with the 7 days cooldown I cba to leave my server…

Additional info: Defense of lone post succeeds, but nothing else happens. I’m not sure if the events through the catacombs are part of this. The catacombs chain did succeed at one point, but I still think the event said waiting for reinforcements from southern invasion.

A bit off topic but the best armor look system I have ever seen is in DC Universe Online. Whatever armor you have ever had on is “remembered” by your char and you can use all those styles whenever you want simply by chosing every single piece from a very long list (on high level). People in DCUO are collecting any possible armors just to have as many looks as possible. I would love so much for this system to be implemented in GW2.

Probably won’t ever happen though.

Now on topic. I agree with the OP. I wish I could use some medium armors on my sylvari mesmer, especially the cultural one. Male cloth sylvari cultural armors look so terrible that I will never consider buying any of them (the only decent sylvari male light armor is the Nightmare one). On the other hand medium cultural sylvari male armors looks amazing and I would give a lot to be able to use them.

Actually what happens is something else.

The swiftness bonus only works with 6 runes of the centaur. The untrasforming gets you a small heal which gets you swiftness from the 6th rune bonus. The bonus is not quite as good as I thought before.

It’s an effect of any tonic. The Endless Mystery Tonics probably do that too and they weren’t changed so far.

I think it’s a nice bonus that suits the rarity of this item.

I don’t really see any reason to change that. It’s not game breaking or anything. I think normal tonics have this effect too, but with EHT you can use it as your permament swiftness generator. Changing it would suck.

So the tonic is mostly for fun, brawls and a collectors item. But it comes with a great bonus, especially for mesmers like me. The tonic is basicly an infite Swiftness generator. Whenever you transform back to your normal form it grants you swiftness. With the endless tonic you can do this all the time. Transform – Untransform – get swiftness and so on.

It’s the best thing I got from it as a mesmer. I can get rid of runes of the centaur now. Thanks for that anet.

Desolation has just moved to tier 1. Gj everyone.

Not sure what happened but Desolation improved GREATLY today. Yesterday at that hour we had like 100 points and Backtide 400+. Today we are leading with 200+ while Backtie is 2nd/3rd. We’ve lost an upgraded SM though and now we’re playing SM ping pong with other servers.

Can we get some serious commander in Eternal BG? We really need some leadership there.

Things are going really bad for Desolation. Borderlands are getting kitten all day long and BG has no commanders so people just run mindlessly. We aren’t even pressuring Backtide and our attack on SM was quite bad. Not sure if this can be saved.

Well having 3 orbs would surely help with that. Anyway this starts to look bad for Desolation. If we won’t be able to retake most of our keeps and towers earlier than 11pm EU time, we may even lose this.

I have like 5 sets of keys now. I wonder if I will be able to open the chest 5 times when they fix it, lol.

Basicly I like when people are camping that spot. Maybe it’s cause I’m a mesmer and I can literally ruin their camp by myself. Pulls + portals and those guys can die one by one quite fast.

People should deal with it already.

I am also really glad that RUIN joined our server. It’s true that the queues are as bad as 1 onth ago now, but well that’s the price we have to pay for being relevant in WVW once again.

RUIN guys, don’t listen to all the whiners.

Arborstone should be happy about our american population. The queues right now are 10 times longer than in European prime time.

Maaan, the queues on Desolation are suddenly soooo long. I kinda enjoyed it when I could just jump to any map any time I wanted.
