Like what?

Like achievement rewards that meant more than grats.

Achievement rewards? Are you referring to PvE skills coming from title grind? Do you honestly think that several titles introduced in last expansion, released when the game was already commercially successful and thriving for three years made it suddenly sustainable?

No. Other people have other games – he’s merely expecting that a game designed from ground up to cater to those specific limitations and taste stays true to it.

…. and I said that game is unsustainable whether he thinks he wants it or not..

Which is false, as proven by GW1, capable of sustaining itself and attracting enough capital for sequel.

Even though I didn’t like it, I know for a fact that GW1 had more meaningful progression than this…

Nice try.

I work for a living. I have one job already – I don’t need another one.

I also work for a living and thats beside the point. You’re really arguing that all other people should forever be doomed to be entertained under your personal limitations. That their entertainment needs to be “fair” for you.

Mesmer WvW Guild Race

Lately, I’ve been playing with the idea of mesmer only (or mesmer mainly), single race, everyone-looks-the-same, WvW focused guild. I’m interested in opinions in regards to best race for such endeavour. So far, I think that either asura or charr suit that role best, here are pros of both I came up with:

Asura:
- small – best for hiding in conquered keep or sneaking behind enemy lines
- harder to recognize weapons held, and therefore build
- harder to distinguish between armour classes, especially when you hide the helmet (it is possible to mistake Guardian with Mesmer, then)
- clones have potentially more time to deal some damage

Charr:
- fear inspiring – nothing scares the zerg more than 40 bipedal tigers materialising in it out of nowhere
- obscuring – large clones can draw attention away from smaller allies and obscure enemy’s view
- easier to find people – more visibility means more potential recruits

What do you think?

It goes under three names – Slayer’s, Caretaker’s and Stalwart’s. Chest piece is reward for lvl 39 story mission, I don’t know where remaining bits can be found.

I’ve got question of my own – does anyone know what’s PvE equivalent of PvP leather armor(1) (first medium armor in PvP storage locker).
